I love walking them foothills Alan - down in the valleys before getting to the main objective. And what an objective for the 'born dancer' to tackle. I wouldn’t have fancied walking all the way back into Keswick and the bus seemed the sensible thing to do. Yes all in all a very enjoyable film. Thanks for much for your kind words Mike, we both appreciate it. I work Thursday and Friday and got family stuff on over the Bank Holiday weekend but free on Tuesday for a hike out and a drink. I did not do Helvellyn last week due to the weather, so if you are up for that, if not I am happy to get out and hike anywhere.....Hmmmm, I will see if I can get over on Monday night with my tent (I promise not to camp close to you), if not, I can be there for a very early start on Tuesday?? Too right John, so many people think it is just a walk in the park and a easy stroll to the top and it takes a bit more effort than that.
