Great video! The annoying and loud noise has kept me returning the new drills. Can’t fathom how they did not manage to get the same sophistication on the new ones. The TPC/TDC are also brushless and nice and quite and powerful.
I hope they fix this soon, or at least that my old CXS keeps working like a champ for another decade. 😂

Thank you for the compliment and for checking out the video. There is definitely a distinct difference in the sound. Who knows why that is. I am going to use my noise canceling buds to block out the sound when it get annoyed with it. LOL. I will also be keeping my old CXS for when I want a quieter operation.

100% agreed! The sound is awful, went for the c18 instead. I don't want to wear earmuffs when doing light work like drilling and screwing, and if I work in the garden on weekends, my neighbors will be happy too that I went for the c18 😊

I have it and I love it. Fantastic for hardware cabinet installation.

Nice to hear. My initial impressions lead me to believe that it will work out for me as well. Did you have the older model? Did you keep it?

Why is their 12 volt battery so large when compared to the same type of tool from Milwaukee 2505-22 M12 Fuel Installation Drill/Driver Kit?

My guess would be the form factor. Multiple batteries. One charging solution.
Having a single charging solution across the whole stack keeps the cost of manufacturing down.
      Its just a guess though.

They also have a „T-Version“ that is smaller in the hand. But I have to say the „C-Grip“ is still my favourite. It just has unbelievable control. And trigger feel and overall build beats the M12 easily in my opinion.

I can not disagree with your assessment. I do not believe we have access to the T-Handle here in the States. We can however purchase the 18-volt version in both styles.
