The CT scan is so nice to watch, and its software does a great job at turning grayscale slices into colored 3D representations!

I want to know how it can cool effectively without a beefy heat sink on the "hot" side. Instead, it's cooking the battery!

Thanks for reminding me that i really should tinker with some Peltier devices one of these days.

Maybe the holes allow gas to escape if the battery would ever bloats a bit? Just guessing

what brand is your desk magnifying camera that's used to record the teardown?

I'm guessing the case extends between the Peltier device and the battery - to head off the heat (when the outside is being cooled) and conduct it to the outside of the device - rather than cooking the battery - which may not be something Embr's lawyers (or anyone waring the device) would be keen on. Interesting video, as always. Stay safe out there.

Interesting. What usb microscope are you using? Do you have an affiliate link for it?

It's a discontinued model, i don't recommend it. I'm going to end up getting a new one in the new year.

Wow, wonder what the chemistry of that battery is? 3.8V nominal, 4.35 max, that's not a "normal" 3.7v lipo!

Thank You , could very well be a great use for medical but also In The Heat But Not so much The Cold as your skin could very easily be fooled and not know you were getting frostbite

"takes the blue photon and kicks it out as a white one"
LOL! I wonder what he'd say about prisms.

1:09... would make more sense to wear it on your forehead...🤔
2:52... why would you split the ceramic plates of a fully functioning Peltier Cell ??
