Mr. Lai is a great hero of Hong Kong. He didn't have to stay and he knew exactly what they would do, but he chose to stay in order to defend and give his people hope. He knew he needed to sacrifice himself, so that his people may rise up again. Mr. Lai is such an incredible man with so much heart and courage. I hope President Trump can save him.
