I’m a Kushaq owner & trust me it brings smile on my face everyday day i drive !! I’ve driven seltos ,brezza etc and other cars they are not even close in terms of drive quality . I feel the trade off for a little smaller size than seltos / creata is absolutely acceptable atleast for me and very happy with the purchase.
@@WheelsAddictIndia He has not seen interiors of his favourite cars like grand vitara, and what about build quality of cars like Creata and Seltos(Paper Cars) and service centers like tata where they beat people inside out
@@WheelsAddictIndia quality might have dipped a little but i still don't feel the interior are below par at all if you compare in the price range/segment ..hnn do agree few control buttons on the drivers door could have been better + better reverse camera but once you drive the car i bet most people would be ok with this trade off . Try driving on humps / un even roads in Kushaq /Seltos /Brezza and hopefully you can feel the difference as why i would still prefer Skoda.
@WheelsAddictIndia what do you expect in the car. Driving quality, engine performance, stability and most important safety or rich features. Think about yourself. I am Kushaq owner and I am very happy with my car
@@shashankdawn ofcourse, but the interior is not appealing to many and the aftersale service is terrible at many dealerships, but the same is nice at almost every skoda dealerships...
@@WheelsAddictIndia bro if 60 out of 100 people are buying Hyundai - Maruti cars then it is very obvious that in second hand market their number will be always high
I am a Kushaq owner and I don't think for me height of car and width is that important. Kushaq is small car from outside but inside it is more spacious and roomier which gives you really good feel. It has better practical boots space than Creta/Seltos and obviously Grandvitara strong hybrid. When I bought car, I never thought of resale because I wanted to own a car which will be there for atleast 10years and put smile whenever I take car out. Yes Kishaq is not perfect fake SUV for name but I would it is a complete pack when it comes to practicality, comfort, safety and fun. I have done 12k kms on my Kushaq 1.0 AT within 8 months and I am in love with this car. I have done Goa to Nagpur 1100km in single day and I had enough energy to take a 5000 steps walk. I never felt this happy before driving any other car. My Kushaq's AT TC gearbox is gem of piece which never lets me down in any situation be it mountains, rough roads, traffic or want to overtake. Buy car which connects to your mind and heart both. Don't go with what masses are buying. Such youtubers have made beautiful machines flop and encouraging crap unstable shell products.
Super, I am also thinking of going for Kushaq 1.0 MT. What is the mileage I can expect on light foot in light city traffic, heavy traffic and on highways?
Hi sir which comment is illogical?? U mean interior quality is superior than rapid ?? Or without amc service or maintenance cost is at par with industry standards??
Super, I am also thinking of going for Kushaq 1.0 MT. What is the mileage I can expect on light foot in light city traffic, heavy traffic and on highways?
I have used my VW Vento, 2011 model for over 140000kms. Zero problems. Solid build. No nonsense. Performs like a dream on highways and especially on hill roads.
The Driving Dynamics and Safety of VW / Skoda are unmatched. Kia / Hyundai are generally considered next to Maruthi, Tata. But VW / Skoda owners are usually not into re-sale value. Yes, Interior quality got down a bit, but as you Drive on the Highways, you will forget all those niggles.
You can comfortably pamper yourself for being a VW owner. Maruti-Suzuki is still the leader of the car market in India. Driving dynamics with Honda's are way better over and above Germans. Average consumers don't buy cars to be driven on highways. They buy it for everyday practical use and resale. Yeah, you may applaud your fancy turbo TSI engine. See what you are loosing. Idling times some cases even more than 10 minutes on cold start. Fuel efficiency less than 10 kmpl. This all just doesn't add up!
@@mithilchandok1470 I own kushaq 1.0 AT and gives me mileage of 12-14kmpl in city and 17-22kmpl on Highway based on condition. Kushaq is a beautiful machine, don't take away it's credibility on the name of resale
@@mithilchandok1470 I drive 1.5 l Taigun in Bangalore roads and comfortably get 12 - 14 kmpl. I floor the pedal when I need it. Don't spread misinformation about less than 10 kmpl.
I have my personal replies for your each and every point... Lets summarise in short, the sale factor between mid size Suv's is due to the deisel/petrol variants! Others brands still offers both. Coming to the point of after age maintainance, these are just launched. Still u wish to compare nd do with the earlier products( polo, vento, rapid) and also compare the overall maintainance cost with any other brand. No doubt their labour cost is comparetively higher but dnt forget the service schedule (15k kilometers) while other offers (10k kilometers). Suppose for 30k kms of verna one is paying 7000/- * 3 times, while for a vento he is paying 11000/- *2 times. Basically its a mind set nothing else. At last will conclude just by this IF YOU NEED A GOOD PRODUCT, YOU HAVE PAY I BIT MORE THAN OTHER CHEAP PRODUCTS. Its India bro, here majority of people prefer street food, while some dine at 5 star resturants also. Both are happy and right as per their will and pocket.👍🏼
Recently I sold my Creta & bought Taigun. Trust me when u grow mature u won’t but car like creta & sletos. Happiness driving Taigun u can’t even imagine in cars like creta & deltas. VW is a class apart. Rest is personal choice.
Before buying kushaq i went to check hyundai creta waiting period 6 months, resale value of my grand i10 that i bought from the same hyundia dealer 2.5 lakhs. Went to kia for seltos rejected after checking the built quality..never conisdered maruti cars...went to chk tata nexon...saw a 1.5 year old nexon in the workshop with rusting inside the door panel..rejected..finally went to mahindra to chk scorpio n...waiting period 15 months...sales manager told me if i buy 50k worth of accessories they can reduce the waiting period from 15 months to 8-9 months. Finally went ti skoda exchange value of my grand i10 3 lakhs plus 20k exchange bonus..57k flat discount plus 4 yrs smp, 4 yrs roadside assistance free. Bought kushaq ambition( june 2023 manufacturing) 1 lt MT.
@@jadejayogendrasinh1078 in uttrakhand its 15.50 lakh (on road price). The price and offers may vary from state to state but try to bargain and they will give you atleast 40-50k flat discount and 4 yrs SMP free. Also the price for all the variants except the top end model will increase by 35-40k from october 2023 as the indian goverment has made it mandatory for all the car manufacturers to give 6 airbags in the car.
I would request those people who are getting misguided by this video to personally check the car and talk with the car owners to get a good advice. I myself own a Kushaq and i have met many kushaq owners who are much more satisfied with the car. Smaller issues like AC issue is already fixed by software updates. Resale value is only meant for chapris who buy a car and within 2-3 years sell it to buy another car that looks good. Long terms buyers who keep the car for 8-10 years don't care about resale value. If VAG parts are not available on market then that is a good thing actually as maruti and Hyundai has less genuine parts and most of the duplicate parts available in the market. Once you drive a car with low quality brake pads from the market you will have 80% chance of accident. Its shocking that nowadays some youtubers are spreading misinformation about cars to gain viewers without even owning the car or having any capacity to own or maintain it.
If we go by sales only then no one should buy audi, Mercedes, volvo and other luxury brands too as sales are very less? I guess all cars are build to satisfy different needs. Plus these are the only reliable options today for someone- looking for a above 4m petrol car + good safety + on time delivery , you suggest if there are any…
True that but in Merc category sales point and prices are different a different league I compared the numbers with its segment not a segment above and below. Delivery is just an excuse u need to know how to deal with dealers and get the right deal and value for u ..it is indeed built to satisfy needs but is it the fastest?? No do they have the most sophisticated interiors ? No . Ok are they vfm ? No , ohh driving pleasure yes but did I forgot to mentions automatic gearbox issues?? Heating issues or didn’t I??
Went through the full video. A very IRRELEVANT video about cars. I own a Skoda Kushaq 1.5 MT and with 33K kms on the ODO. And this isn't my only car and I d have fair experience of highway driving and long drives. I think you are WRONG in ALL fundamental areas of cars 1. Dimensions as per price: So you think the more the price the more the dimensions should be. Then only it'll be good. It's like more cc means more power. Maybe this is one the reasons why Indian car market is still an immatured one. Maybe this is why actual good car manufacturers like Chevrolet, Ford and Fiat left India. Because of our ridiculous choices in cars. We'll choose features over drive quality. For features we can buy a smart phone for God's sake. 2. Interior Quality: Did you ever sit in a Kushaq or Taigun and then compared it to the contemporary competition. I doubt. Else you wouldn't have mentioned this point. I thought your video will give an insightful view but till now didn't find any. Please do some more research else your videos will not do justice to the channel name you claim to be. 3. Spare Parts cost and availability: One of the major spare parts that we need to change are the brake pads. Creta brake pads and Kushaq/Taigun brake pads cost around the same. Kushaq/Taigun brake pads last till almost 30K kms on an average with proper usage. Whereas for Creta, brake pad failures are quite a common issue and normally people change the brake pads at 20K kms. Thought your insightful video will include this fact but it seems to be very cleverly avoided the cons of Kushaq/Taigun's competitors. Now, the respect to see your video is coming down. One more thins, regarding spare parts availability, in last 2 years of Kushaq ownership, never faced any such things. Please do more research before ranting out on YT. 4. Resale Value: First of all, most people don't know how good these cars are as they don't have much touchpoints across India. But they're working on it and hopefully it'll be addressed soon. Regarding the mechanic things, I will definitely not ask any roadside mechanic to fix an advanced car. They're good off servicing Marutis and Hyundais. But will they touch Hyundai Creta or Kia Seltos. They mostly will not. Cars at this price level, roadside mechanics don't know the advanced engineering of these cars. So please, don't use your channel name. You're not a wheel addict at all. If you were, you wouldn't made such a childish video. 5. Engine reliability: Now, regarding the ODO readings, I know of few Kushaq owners who have done more than 90K kms in 2 years of their ownership. And that too in the 1 litre 3-cylinder engines. And they're quite happy with their cars and without any complaints. I haven't yet done it so will comment on this part specifically but again your research seems quite inadequate and half-hearted and not at all a matured one. I understand your part. Maybe you're one of those who claim to be an auto expert and then Google whenever someone ask you anything technical. I feel you naiveness bro. 6. Build Quality: Your comparisons are so irrelevant that I'm now thinking that I should've never seen this video. I rest my case. This is one of the most irrelevant video and people thinking this video is correct know nothing about what a car needs to do or expected to do. And you're of that group of people which is why good manufacturers are actually leaving India. Please grow up bro. Drive more cars. Have more experience. Then maybe you will understand what irrelevant video this is.
Super, I am also thinking of going for Kushaq 1.0 MT. What is the mileage I can expect on light foot in light city traffic, heavy traffic and on highways?
Nailed it bro.. this chapri so called youtubers has no idea of proper auto mechanism and pretending to be an expert.. it is probably one of the reasons we indians aren't able to elevate our standard in auto sectors..
1. What about the wheelbase of Skoda Kushaq/ VW taigun that is the best in segment at 2651mm. Larger Wheelbase offers better rear legroom and kneeroom. Creta-2600mm Seltos-2600mm Hyryder- 2600mm Grand Vitara-2600mm Why havent you mentioned that, when you have mentioned all other dimensions aspects. 2. You are mentioning about interior quality again and again why dont you mention about the features which Skoda/ VW offers and others in the competiton does offer at all, like 1. All Illuminated power window switches. 2. Brake Disc Wiping. 3. Electronic differential lock. XDS, XDS+( I suppose you know whay they are meant for) 4. All adjustable headrests standard across all variants. 5. Led Projectors headlamps with static cornering foglamps 6. Touch screen infotainment with android auto and apple carplay as standard. I suggest please give your verdict ( hit/flop) after considering all your facts, this is not the right verdict as you have clearly not highlighted the advantages of the product.
I didn’t give the verdict of hit or flop 140 crore Indians did - sales say it all. I didn’t say I don’t like the product but u need to watch the video again it states why it flopped
@@WheelsAddictIndia 140 crore people have not opened a TH-cam channel to give a verdict about it's hit or flop, moreover you have not reached all 140 crore to gather their verdict and also all 140 crore people don't own Kushaq and Taigun to give their review. Please use material on your channel which looks justified and not biased. You may be right on certain points mentioned in your review but you have not covered many positive points also so that does justify the product hit or flop.
@@kunalsen2123 Sales Numbers what we see or this gentleman has shown or spoken about is basically the dispatches to the dealerships and not retails, and that depends on the number of dealership/ billing points of a particular brand. . If you compare the dispatches Of Kushaq/ Taigun per dealership with dispatches of Creta/ Seltos per dealerships it will almost identical. Moreover Creta and Setlos 50% sales comes from diesel vehicles which option is not available in Kushaq/Taigun, so numbers here alone doesn't justify the verdict.
I feel kushaq/ taigun provides the driving pleasure with their over all driving dynamics which other cars don't provide.. sporty engine which is fun to drive...dimensions might actually be a boon considering city traffic these days and lack of parking space, and mind you kushaq has the longest wheelbase in the mid size suv segment due to which rear seat comfort and overall space is much better(not the width but leg space considering taller driver and passenger)..kushaq has much better high speed stability and very controlled body roll compared to the more selling cars you are talking about... Lastly they are much safer cars than the other tin ka dabbas. Bhai aur car lete hi bechneka hi sochne lagoge to phir Swift hi Lelo best resale value hai.. All these things are subjective..some people go after features..some go for sheer driving pleasure and safety.
I agree with u in terms of driving pleasure but what about the quality of interiors and electronics that dipped in their strategy of 2.0?? If the company thinks with just the. Engine they are justifying the price they are not Btw resale was just 1 point availability of spare parts in local market is another point. You drive a polo Gt see it’s interior and then compare it with today’s product. They are safe but can’t even seat 5 people being a fan boy is good but if we call them out they ll improve and sales will be better otherwise we can see another exit honda is a perfect case study of ignoring customer feedback
@@WheelsAddictIndia Well I bought Kushaq ambition(mid variant) and I think it's value for money compared to creta 1.5 S plus knight which is actually priced a bit higher, and comparing both practically, kushaq has better drivability, better headlight throw and is safe..but since creta has maybe more features like panoramic sunroof etc which attracts the masses..so it's a car for masses and not for driving enthusiast.Still feel kushaq/taigun has all the features that are practically needed. Maybe their quality dipped compared to their own standard but if compared to the other companies products in the market today I believe it's still ok...and they have resolved quite a few issues that the initial batches of car had like rattling issues, ac issues etc. I agree that skoda reduced the screen size and reduced 1 or 2 features citing chip shortage and price increased so that is not justified. But yea let's see how reliable these cars are in long term..but I am satisfied up till now. I am still not sure about your price argument since creta is also very high priced and still you don't get safety, driving pleasure after spending so much. Anyways I am happy with my product and that's all that matters to the buyer. Comparing cars on paper and actually driving these cars..then people notice the difference. These cars are Indian made so availability of parts wouldn't be that big an issue I feel..but yea let's see what happens in the longer time frame.
@@WheelsAddictIndialet me tell you what when they were Made in German there quality was great. But now they are made in INDIA. Rapid vento was at almost same price as kushaq mid variants. Since it is 95% localisation can we also say that Indian manufacturing is inferior than german engineering giving the fact that both are coming in almost same price. At the same price range there quality was great but as they started manufacturing in India there quality dropped. Have you ever seen hyundai kia talk about chassis. There body structure? Have they shown there body structure like skoda did with kushaq? No because they lack safety stability. Have you ever visited Maruti hyundai service center? Total fish market. 4 lakh buyer and 20 lakh buyer are getting same treatment. If Tata punch a car that is costing 6-7 lakh can give 5 stars, why not hyundai kia maruti also score? We spend more money so that we can get power features and most important safety. You can see the crash test they just barely got 3 stars otherwise they are 2 star cars only at the price range of 20-22 lkhs. Resale is a great factor but what’s the point if you are not alive or a family member is not alive when you sell that car??
I have made wise and best decision in buying kushaq .and features which are gimmicks doesn’t matter only performance and driving pleasure and overall safety.no other car in the segment can match these all.and price is almost same like other brand l.and rahi bat dimensions ki sir kuch mm kam honestly se kuch fark ni pdta hai .bhedchal me log unko le re hain but Europeans are just way ahead and slightly it is going to come back ..
I am a owner of kushaq AT. Do talk about the driving dynamics as well, which is the biggest selling point for these cars. I believe if the company has done enough paid reviews these cars might have better sales numbers. I have taken test drive for all the cars in segment except KIA (doesn't want split functionality) and I feel interiors are good if not the best. Have driven 5k kms in just 3months and haven't faced any rattling till now as they have improved it. I think the biggest criteria to purchase a car is the driving dynamics that's what these machines meant to do.

sir, i appreciate your efforts to make this video but i have been using VW taigun for more than 8 months and touchwood i have not found any complaints so far, SIze and shape are perfect for my requirements. 1ltr engine has zero vibrations and super punchy. fail hone ka 1 bhut bada reason hai after sales modification jo ki aap karol bagh mai nhi karwa sakte- like base to top model whereas i had taken the test drive of XUV300 petrol and nexon but honestly speaking, i had not impressed with it. please dont get me wrong, i am not a youtuber i am just a common man, but one thing i have observed in youtube that all the youtubers are playing dirty and sab VW Skoda ke pichhe pade huye hai and sab Hyundai and Kia ko jada promote karte hai, which is not good. #VWSKODA
Hyundai and kia ko promote krenge hi kyuki wo ek winning product hai. Jab VW and skoda ke engines reliable aur maintenence easy hogi to wo bhi winning product ban jaega but I don't think it will happen.
Bhed chaal hai baba.... Creta and Kia are the best selling cars but not the best. Kushaq is the best in the segment. Not everyone has the guts to buy it over creta and Kia. Wait and u will see the market of skoda in the next 2 years. Aaj u buy Kushaq and jb resale karne ka time ayega TB tk it will be the most common cars in this segment.
@@WheelsAddictIndia Why don't you bring concerns related to other car makers..!! Have you seen Tata Nexon new car panel gaps and the loosely assembled parts. Don't just comment on few issues which is existing in all the car makers..!! Kushaq & Taigun are way ahead of all their competitors.
I am proud owner of Kushaq for 1 year (since Aug 2022) and no issues faced so far. Really happy. Except point 1, others seems logical to me but still those could not deter me from buying Skoda product one year back. One more point you can add is - # of outlets esp in Tier 2/3/4 cities and villages are almost none compared to Tata, Maruti, Hyundai. This is very imp consideration for people while buying car. I might have re-considered Skoda if there would have no showroom in my city. Anyway, Skoda/VW buyers have diff priority and it makes sense to have 10-15% of total population as buyers. Nothing strange in it and we cant say product is a failure. The product is meant for only that strata of buyers.
Skoda and VW have only repeated clients who only know the difference of German and other. Even they don’t do advertising more and their salesman also not disturbing you again again for sale like maruti and kia. Skoda n VW customers not think of resale , not mileage. Thud sound of door of skoda and VW feel’s you are in safe cabin.
1.Don't lecture people about the road presence and looks. Because that part is subjective. They will decide not you. 2. For some people a car is not just a commodity, it is a passion. And if that passionate choice is providing you with more safety than other then we shouldn't call it a flop rather commend them on it. 3. Don't encourage people to buy cars based on their size. Congestions are bad enough already. People in metro cities are starting to prefer cars that are premium but smaller in size. 4. Yes there has been some corner cutting in the interior quality but you should compliment them on it because brands like hyundai and maruti do corner cutting with the safety of the car. 5. When you correctly point out the non-sense criterias of a second hand buyer who cares more about maintenance cost than safety, don't tell the brands to adapt to that, instead tell the 2nd hand buyers to fix their priorities. 6. Try becoming a part vendor for a vw/skoda product and find out the accepted tolerances for part accuracy and then compare that with Maruti or ford. Then you'll know why the parts/maintenance is more expensive. 7. Looking at your criterias for buying a car i suggest you change the name of your channel from wheels addict to commercial wheels addict. Taxi buyers need good guidance and you are perfect for it.
Kushaq has better cabin space than competition. Driving experience is better than any car in segment. Interior is better than toyota hyrider. Road presence is a set back without a doubt.
Other points are ok. But cabin space? We were on a trip with taigun nd seltos and I am pretty sure it's like 5-6 inch difference in back seats width nd 2-3 inch on head room
@@SomethingSenseful cabin space is better in the kushaq, especially legroom because of the wheelbase bring much better, it allows for a better adjustment of cabin.
Kushaq provides the best in class handling and driving dynamics. The interior quality is not as bad as some people say . It is just not upto the level of previous generation Skoda/ VW cars , that’s all. Also , it scored a perfect rating in global NCAP crash test and has a timeless design . It looks neat and elegant from all angles . Also , the medium size is a big advantage if one uses it in both city as well as highway . I will keep my Kushaq for a very long time and don’t regret my decision of buying this beast even one bit .
Indeed design is timeless but I am not here to please a minority I am putting a mindset of majority of Indian and pointing out means what ?? That the product was good but it flopped why ?? That’s the connect of the video
@@WheelsAddictIndia Majority of the indians run after cars for 'mileage' completely disregarding safety and driving experience. Is it fair to propogate such stupid thinking even more? Also, what are you going to do with 10000 features if the car is not even suitable to withstand crashes at 60kmph? Feels like your video is the paid video attacking VAG brands without any sound reasoning.
@@WheelsAddictIndia Correct. You are putting the mindset of the Indian buyers. Indian buyers will leave a sturdy & VFM product like Fiat Punto, VW Polo, Ford Freestyle, but are ready to pay for 800 Kilo Swift/Baleno. When the power to weight ratio is high, they find the car gives a better performance. I checked both GV & KUSHAQ, if you say that GV interior quality and space is better, then I truly say I really don't know how to check the quality. I feel, whatever Skoda is providing in the mid-variants is VFM. When I saw the interior of the Venue top variant and with its price point, it seriously lacked the quality big time. Yes, the VW group is trying hard to increase the market share, for that they have to provide value with their vehicles. Assumptions like Ford will kill them in no time. Coz, Indian buyers are more inclined towards mileage and features they don't use. Even if I don't get a great resale value, I feel I will be much happier till the time I will have my KUSHAQ with me.
@@WheelsAddictIndiayou understand the mindset of majority of Indians. That's why you should dedicate your time on TH-cam to educate people and convince them to fix their priorities. Create awareness about why safety is more important than resale value, why driveability is more important than features etc. Your favourite car brands may not care about the lives of their customers but you could care about the lives of your virwers right? It costs them to care, Does it cost you?
I appreciate your viewpoint. And to a decent degree, points mentioned have merit too. To be honest, at the beginning itself, I was going to pause & comment. But then I thought of hearing you entirely and so post a sound listen, I am writing this now. Firstly let me state that I own a 2013 i20 sports & have driven it 1.91 lakh kms, and it's still absolutely smooth & refined. Needless to say, I am quite happy with it & it is serving me exceedingly well. Coming to the first point of dimensions - well, to be honest, almost no car's rear seat is actually meant for 3 adults. We do sit but for any medium to long journey, only 2 in rear seat actually sit comfortably. Also, apart from Nexon's 1810 & Xuv 300's 1820, most vehicles, even of Creta, Kushaq, Seltos, Taigun, Astor segment, width is in similar range. And most importantly, with mm it seems a lot, but in actual, just see how much is 4 to 5 cms 😊 Also, most people in our country have a liking and preference for a 'bigger looking car' .. which in my opinion doesn't necessarily lead to good looks. I feel the road presence / design language of a kushaq is far more sophisticated and smart and sporty and posh, and ageless, compared to its rivals. The need for bigger footprint is a very immatured ask of the mind, for me. A small example, look at Creta's tasteless front girll, and look at Kushaq's neatly-thought crafting. I agree looks are subjective, but still. Coming to strengths of German, driving dynamics and build quality is where investment & priority has gone. So each brand, like maruti is excellent for mileage and affordability but too common,,, hyundai is a great blend of features and good looks, Tata off lately is having an appealing stance to its vehicles but not as refined as say a Honda. So I feel, to be among those kind of sales-numbers would surely not be VW's dream anyway. When you see a vehicle with most people around, its charm in the mind goes down, psychologically .. so that way also, looking at these vehicles creates a super impression to the mind. (Also, the audience and group which is buying Skoda VW won't even think about resale value factor | I never thought of resale value while buying my i20 10.5 years back) I totally agree pricing is high, maintenance can be quite a thing, there are definite areas where this German group needs to/ can better itself. But I do not agree that these are flop products. I am charmed everytime I see this emperor on road. In fact, just recently, upon checking its new prices, I felt - ohh pricing is so high, that I need to probably settle for something else, if I plan to buy. So you get me? I am agreeing to you. Yet I am not as well 😊
Im over confused in choosing kushaq ambition 1l mt 2024 vs base creta e 2024 ..both are costing me for around 13l with offers...some one can i guide here .as i have to decide by this month itself pls
Hello sir I have a kushaq 1.5 and I love everytime when I bring this vehicle out of my garage it's just mind blowing other cars can't even come close to this vehicle in terms of driving dynamics
Super, I am also thinking of going for Kushaq 1.0 MT. What is the mileage I can expect on light foot in light city traffic, heavy traffic and on highways?
oh hero… road presence of taigun is quite quite strong!! i have seen it amongst many other craps.. it def stands out !! and it does look premium, its ur looking glass thats crappy !
Size point is absolute crap. Kindly talk about the wheel base. Kushaq/Taigun has a wheelbase of 2651mm which is more than any other car in the segment. Which implies leg space and comfort is much more. Creta/Seltos only looks bigger in size with lesser leg space. Moreover, India 2.0 strategy is not for everyone. It is for a target audience. Volkswagen group was always targeted for a specific audience who are driving enthusiasts. Who enjoy driving. Hyundai is for those people who focus on features and other gimmicks and not on build quality and driving
The video is about the analysis and reason to flop . Jimny is getting the gate for dimensions and pricing any clarifications for that ?? Drive enthusiast people for sure but didi you get a chance to sit inside and experience the build quality ??
@@WheelsAddictIndia I own a slavia and a kushaq. Agree that the interior plastics are not upto the mark of original VW cars like Rapid or Vento, but that shouldnt be the most important reason to not buy a car. Moreover, the driving comfort and dynamics are way too good in these cars which makes you forget about the plastics. As for the analysis and comparison. Get your facts correct. A car which has the longest wheelbase cannot be a small car.
In my family we have 2 Virtus GT's, 1 Virtus Topline MT, 1 Taigun Topline AT.. we are very happy with our cars and we were are clear why we bought them. The car markets are booming and everyone is buying without proper driving practice/knowledge.. with these people.. the roads are not safe.. so prefer only safety first. These are the last set of ICE cars which we can enjoy.. so don't listen to people like these and end up buying korean tincans and maruti. Best brands to buy now are.. VW, Skoda, Mahindra and TATA. If Toyota then only innova and fortuner.
Every car is produced to meet needs of different customers. There are sheep’s those follow the opinions of other and reviews before buying the car. Real user will go check and test drive the vehicles and see if that suits their purpose and taste. I own Skoda rapid 2012 diesel and Kushaq 1.5 AT both are great to drive and puts smile on face every time the ignition is turned ON. I never tried Creta or seltos. Happy with the performance, safety and features of Skoda cars and
I totally accept the points discussed, I am driving a kushaq 1.0 ambition and really those three cylinders sucks, it really can't even drive up a not so steep ramp on the second gear which even an xl6 can do smoothly. I really feel I have made a mistake on buying it
Once a Skoda, always a Skoda. Have used Rapid 1.5 manual for 6 years, 1.1 Lakh kms. Now Kushaq 1.0 AT is my primary car for city use and will continue to keep it. My next second car will be Kushaq 1.5 AT that I am buying next month. Last week, have test driven Creta, Scorpio N and GV. I am convinced my next car is Skoda too.

You should have considered no. of sales point of Germans vs Koreans in your sales number figures. Also there is a term Bhedchal which we do see in Indian car market. People who have been owning Rapid, Polo, Superb etc are still happy to own the vehicles. Service schedule is 1 yr in these brands and prices are equivalent or leas compres to Koreans or Japanese. Quality in initial batches did had issues but with time these have improved. I do agree for 1L instead a NA option should be there but these people have expertise in RnD as well. They have an edge when it comes to driving dynamics as well, you will feel the difference in driving Germans vs Koreans or Japanese even with cost cutting etc.
@@mangalmurtibhosale Nope but there is no point in opening sales points seeing the bhed chaal that we are going through in Indian Car market. People are going for features instead of safety knowing the fact the design language of Maruti and Koreans will last for 3-4yrs and then a facelift will come however for Germans it is an everlasting design.
lol! dont quote "Korean" and "japanese" together. You can quote Msuzuki with Korean but not "Japanese", "Toyota" is also japanese, and nothing in the world beats a toyota.
Completely fake. I have driven Nexon and creta . Kushaq and Taigun give the best driving pleasure. If u drive once u will understand what VW / Skoda cars are.
Wasn't expecting this analysis about VW/Skoda Taigun/Kushaq from a person who owns Ford Ecosports. I would say that normally VW/Skoda buyers due not get lured towards the feature rich cars but solid and class leading performance engines like TDI & TSI. Parmish Verma ka naya gana sunno bhajji he says FEATURE DEKH K CAR NAHI LENDE, ENGINE TAGGDE CHAKKIDE ( I don't think this needs translation). Anyways, lemme tell you I own a Skoda Slavia 1.0 TSI Manual and it has been phenomenal till date, bought it a 1.3 yrs back. As a driver, what do prefer resale or sheer driving pleasure. I own a Skoda superb 2022 and am very happy with the vehicle. U can't compare these vehicles with Tata or Hyundai or Kia or Maruti. I have seen lot of people selling their skodas and going for skoda again. What you are saying I agree to some extent like after purchase costs and all but the buyer knows what he is getting into. Bro khushaq wheel base is maximum in that platform and longer then any other in segment that's reason khushaq looks more attractive then seltos creta and nexon and small cars are better fun to drive so size does not matters look polo its just a very small car but still is far great looking in segment because the reason is these cars providing better quality and better paint which looks superior 🙌

@sankalplal4565 just for the wheel base & paint you will pay Rs. 2 lakh extra ??? Does it makes sense to you? And that too the wheel base is not making heaven & earth difference for the back seats space. And on the other hand you get Nexon which has better interiors, gr8 build quality, reliable engine, back seat space is also good, better dimensions, looks more futuristic than kushaq & cheaper too. Skoda or VW have very less touch points and service network in comparison with maruti or hyundai. So obviously the count will be less. And hyundai/kia have diesel engine which counts about 50% of sale. About 5000 in consolidation for taigun and kushaq a month sounds good number considering their touchpoints and production. Also they are exporting to other countries which keeps the production rolling

How can you compare the numbers of Sedan's (Skoda/VW)with the SUV numbers of Skoda/VW? Sedan segment have a handful of players while the SUV segment is extremely crowded. If Skoda/VW cars/SUV's are on a higher side of the price bracket, it's because of their safety rating and high quality standards. The video is illogical and mare with a certain amount of prejudice
this is a case study mate and I didn’t say it is a bad product it is just highlighting the reasons for not doing well and how majority of people think I still have to say it is a good product if u can ignore few of these points
This is actually a bad take. I am a kushaq owner, the performance, refinement and safety is unparalleled. It is compact, and I can take this to mountains without worrying about its size. The suspension is better than creta/ seltos and the refined engine brings a smile every time you drive it. I don’t think there is anything else that clubs this at the rate it is being offered.
True that not everyone is like that we 140 crores so just letting people know few things this doesn’t mean it is not a good product I mentioned 1.5 is the one we should go for
As a Virtus 1.0 owner, agree on the road presence point for Kushaq/Taigun. But it seems you have an agenda against Skoda/VW. I disagree WITH YOU on many fronts, Interior quality is better than the average interior of Hyryder/GV, it is worse thank Koreans and MG but its not like it is the worst. In my Virtus there is rattling noise in the bottle holder apart from that everything is sorted. Regarding service cost, people not having service packs are getting there cars serviced at 7-8k which is reasonable and their service is hands down better than the Tatas and Mahindras anyday. Why are you not telling that? Every VAG customer is a knowledgeable buyer, not of herd mentality.. buying a feature loaded paper (tin ka dabba) cars @15-20 LACS is a crime.. why dont you tell this to your audience instead of defaming Skoda/VW. VW proudly shows off its inner structure, which other brand does that? Driving is a pleasure in these cars. Which other cars can remain stable at 140kph - tell me? You calling 1.0TSI a 3cylinder with poor NVH levels. Man it is the best 1L Turbo engine out there, It is miles better than 1.5NA, 1L Turbo which competition is offering. Heck it can handle up to 270bhp. Which other engine in the competition can do that? Lastly you talk about resale, their sales are at peak they can produce some 8k cars a month only. Which is enough for them to sustain. Also To get your car to resale, you should be alive - why dont you tell your audience to buy safe cars instead of bashing the company which is atleast not milking their products and are true to their nature of 'Safety and Fun tor drive'.
Absolutely bro. On point. I own a Vento. The crappy Maruti's & hyundai's are no comparison to the driving dynamics and safety of this car. My next car will also be a VW or Skoda regardless of people praising coffins on wheels which they call cars, and compare the to the german brands.

People who are specially buying Skoda VW won't even think about resale value factor because they want to experience driving dynamics, stability, safety more. It can not be flop product because of resale value. Products are bought for 1st hand experience. No companies sell their product for RESALE value. RESALE is SECONDARY and OPTIONAL
Service cost of all cars at this segment is more or less same, in fact VW gives Service package for free. SVP cost of VW and Kia is same 24k for 4 yrs.

A very biased review bringing out what everyone knows ie smaller dimensions, not as good interiors as competition and poor resale value. Having owned a rapid for 8+ years , and now a Kushaq this certainly feels very far less solid. But to say that it is a flop and write it off against Korean rivals which are very poor on safety rating with safety issues such as brakes overheating, etc and only loaded with gadgets and show is simply not fair.

VW machines like taigun are already a segment above than other brands and very close to Audi and BMW
Went through the full video. A very IRRELEVANT video about cars.
I own a Skoda Kushaq 1.5 MT and with 33K kms on the ODO. And this isn't my only car and I d have fair experience of highway driving and long drives. I think you are WRONG in ALL fundamental areas of cars
You are right in the analysis of this video
Super, I am also thinking of going for Kushaq 1.0 MT. What is the mileage I can expect on light foot in light city traffic, heavy traffic and on highways?
Nailed it bro.. this chapri so called youtubers has no idea of proper auto mechanism and pretending to be an expert.. it is probably one of the reasons we indians aren't able to elevate our standard in auto sectors..
As a proud kushaq owner totally agreed your points bro
@@TravelAndHasiMazak 13 to 15 in traffic and 16 to 21 on highways depending on your driving habits
1. What about the wheelbase of Skoda Kushaq/ VW taigun that is the best in segment at 2651mm.
Larger Wheelbase offers better rear legroom and kneeroom.
Creta-2600mm
Seltos-2600mm
Hyryder- 2600mm
Grand Vitara-2600mm
Why havent you mentioned that, when you have mentioned all other dimensions aspects.
2. You are mentioning about interior quality again and again why dont you mention about the features which Skoda/ VW offers and others in the competiton does offer at all, like
1. All Illuminated power window switches.
2. Brake Disc Wiping.
3. Electronic differential lock. XDS, XDS+( I suppose you know whay they are meant for)
4. All adjustable headrests standard across all variants.
5. Led Projectors headlamps with static cornering foglamps
@@WheelsAddictIndia
140 crore people have not opened a TH-cam channel to give a verdict about it's hit or flop, moreover you have not reached all 140 crore to gather their verdict and also all 140 crore people don't own Kushaq and Taigun to give their review.
Please use material on your channel which looks justified and not biased.
You may be right on certain points mentioned in your review but you have not covered many positive points also so that does justify the product hit or flop.
@@HarshDesai7188 , he has used sales numbers. What could be more objective than that?

@@WheelsAddictIndiaWho told you its flopped, go and check the numbers ..
And most importantly, with mm it seems a lot, but in actual, just see how much is 4 to 5 cms 😊
Also, most people in our country have a liking and preference for a 'bigger looking car' .. which in my opinion doesn't necessarily lead to good looks.
(Also, the audience and group which is buying Skoda VW won't even think about resale value factor | I never thought of resale value while buying my i20 10.5 years back)
I totally agree pricing is high, maintenance can be quite a thing, there are definite areas where this German group needs to/ can better itself.
But I do not agree that these are flop products. I am charmed everytime I see this emperor on road. In fact, just recently, upon checking its new prices, I felt - ohh pricing is so high, that I need to probably settle for something else, if I plan to buy.
So you get me? I am agreeing to you. Yet I am not as well 😊
Well said exactly what I feel as a owner of kishaq..

If possible make a video on Creta comparison of old and the new version
1.6 was any day better
I was looking for suv bigger than sub 4 m and width also less for easy parking and driving ...skoda kushaq was perfect for me, just for interior poor plastic quality and 3 cylinder engine I didnt go 1.5 cylinder is out of reach...which is the reason why it is selling less ..resale value is going to be horrible in coming years ..not just even maruti will struggle to sell 2 nd hand cars... .tata nexon is worst looking car for me..
Thanks for sharing
How is mg astor?
Bade model makes sense vfm but as a car to drive I would say please ignore
You are so funny brother. Keep making such comedy videos, you will succeed one day.
Mr look at the sales value of all companies vw and skoda are now here near to rivals and even fortuner sales > taigun.😂
1lt TSI is quite an old and tested engine there is no point on relibility of this however engine 1.5 TSI is new.
Not a single manufacturer will give u the driving pleasure these cars give in this segment and believe me I have also owned lots of brands in past
couldn't agree more, only Volvo and BMW, Audi could compete with VW and Skoda
Kushaq active vs Nexon creative plus ??? Which one to buy in 2024?
Bro khushaq wheel base is maximum in that platform and longer then any other in segment that's reason khushaq looks more attractive then seltos creta and nexon and small cars are better fun to drive so size does not matters look polo its just a very small car but still is far great looking in segment because the reason is these cars providing better quality and better paint which looks superior 🙌
True bro I am representing the majority audience review in this video not just my point of view if u see the thumbnail it says why it flopped also if u ask me I am not happy with the interior quality that has dipped massively just to fight the competition
@@WheelsAddictIndiayes maybe the interior quality is down but if a maruti owner will switch or at least take test drive the plastic and quality is way more superior do watch DDS channel how grand vitara is facing issue so I believe it's not a flop product VW and skoda make lot of mistake earlier and it's changing. Please check interior quality with magnifying glass like maruti, mahindra and Toyota. Then it would be fair example.
And now the Nexon facelift is coming that looks even better.
Just stop ass-licking these German car makers...they are giving you very minimalistic updates & strip you off a very high price. Yeh sab ego boosting karne ke liye "skoda skoda skoda" karte hai..:ghanta tumhe tumhare paise ki value mil rahi hai". sorry for my french but Thoda dimaag hai toh socho!
PS : And btw their DSG gear box is very high maintenance and has been a flop at one time.
@@Candid_Notions u seems hurt and from which aspect u saying Nexon enjine is better are u mad or what I think u are blind fan of tata Nexon bro khushaq wheel base is not for space that is for fun to drive factor, skoda 1.0 litre enjine is globally awarded and Honda VTEC these 2 are segment leader u camparing tata with skoda. Seems like paid ...
I am the owner of yeti,10yrs ,built quality is superb.mileage 20 on highways, even today it can manage 140km per hour with ease.i simply own it for its service given to me,not for money,i have many happy movements with it.I am planning for a new car but will not sell my old one.....
I didn’t compare two I compared honda city and Verna sales with slavia where as seltos grand vitara numbers with kushaq
@@WheelsAddictIndiadon't you understand that most SUV buyers prefer a diesel. And that might be the bigger reason for lower sales?
Not impressed at all by the quality of review. Seems very biased. Its not a well rounded review by any stretch of imagination.
Very true
this is a case study mate and I didn’t say it is a bad product it is just highlighting the reasons for not doing well and how majority of people think I still have to say it is a good product if u can ignore few of these points
Ok then go and hit with big rock at the speed of 100+ and if you still alive then comment hear I will accept your words.
Resale value?? dude.. those who are buying Skoda or premium cars, they don't think of the resale value.
True that not everyone is like that we 140 crores so just letting people know few things this doesn’t mean it is not a good product I mentioned 1.5 is the one we should go for
I booked virtus last week❤
Great choice
Nailed it Brother ❤️
Absolutely bro. On point. I own a Vento. The crappy Maruti's & hyundai's are no comparison to the driving dynamics and safety of this car. My next car will also be a VW or Skoda regardless of people praising coffins on wheels which they call cars, and compare the to the german brands.
Kushaq has pleased me every km in my odo of 35k in two years.. When you drive you know the happiness...no tired feeling...no stress...sheer enjoyment 😊
So true I appreciate it is a good product but these are just the reasons we ll gradually move to other such case studies
Super, I am also thinking of going for Kushaq 1.0 MT. What is the mileage I can expect on light foot in light city traffic, heavy traffic and on highways?
People who are specially buying Skoda VW won't even think about resale value factor because they want to experience driving dynamics, stability, safety more. It can not be flop product because of resale value. Products are bought for 1st hand experience. No companies sell their product for RESALE value. RESALE is SECONDARY and OPTIONAL
Absolute truth
Skoda is way better than seltos or Kia at any given point of time
U mean they have better interior quality ?? There is no rattling their service cost is super efficient ??
Service cost of all cars at this segment is more or less same, in fact VW gives Service package for free. SVP cost of VW and Kia is same 24k for 4 yrs.
@@WheelsAddictIndiayou mean to say tata hyundai doesn’t have rattling sound ??? Dont you know that maruti tata have bi yearly service which is more or less equal to vw/skoda service ?? The only companies with brighter future and good resale are Marooti, Mahindra,Tata,Toyota.
People who don't bother about price, resale and prioritize brand, quality can go for any brand vehicle as per their choice.
But nowadays very few maintain their car for more than 3 to 5 years because vehicle industry is under fast pace evolution. And moreover Buying a car is more of an emotional thing.
The most important points an average buyer should consider for long term are
1=Build quality - most important
2=Spare price
3=Maintaiance
4=Average/Milage (for daily commute)
5=No headaches for minor fixes
Only these 5 points should play major role for buyers.

a) Power steering
b) Power windows
c) Rear view camera
d) A good audio system
e) better thigh support in rear seats
f) Better build quality with superior safety rate.
g) 3 cyl or 4 cyl engine is none of our concern and 1 bhp or 1.5 bhp any one can be acceptable since we are not going for 400 kms trip every month.

The car has an incomparable exterior profile and the 1.5 turbo engine is proven EVO engine. So Please do highlight the plus points such as safety rating , drive ability , etc which you seem to downplay.
