This song is one of my favorites, but it is unfortunately very underestimated. Anyone who has not heard this song has lost the chance to know one of the best songs ever♥️
I got married to this tune in brighton two years later I played always remember me by Ian at my husbands funeral who took his own life 😢 my hubby got me into their music amazing akways takes me back to those happy two years ❤xxxxx
@IanbrownOfficial. Hellooooo Ian thanks for your message I'm doing really really good thanks 🙏 nice to meet you here how are you do you have any new songs coming out
Ian, Soo much respect. I’m 53 and this music wears soo well, it’s unreal, it’s always been the funky vibe that prevails.. God Bless you mate. Keep Going.😎
Wasn’t marketed properly probably, I’m in the US and never knew this existed, I found it through a long rabbit hole of searching on TH-cam music until I randomly came across it.... this could’ve easily competed with Lady Gaga and Rihanna in 2009 of it had more play or radio stations, especially over here in the US.
Love it... A true Mancunian with no airs and graces, so gifted, musically, artistically, lyrical... brilliancy, performing and dancing, it lifts your spirit and soul throughout. X From one Mancunian to another X
Homuncular, haughty and requisite. Four foot three, and a supremely relevant national treasure. The vid must have cost fifty quid to make - including catering -, but I love this man and everything that he stands for. A gent at his peak.
I LOVE this song. I’ve always been a fan of Ian and the Roses, but if I may ask my English cousins what the hell Stelify means, it would make this American’s day. I just assumed it meant to drink Stella, which I fully support. Much love from Jacksonville, Florida and shout out to you Mancunians. You folks sure as hell know how to create legends.
massiliala love for lucifer just listen to the lyrics. The diamond in the sky is reference to lucifer being known as a thousand points of light also he goes on about him being like an angel fallen from the sky.

In the opening thirty seconds he is walking past the site of my old school Sacred Heart in Salford. Some great memories from there - like just about everywhere else in and around Manchester city centre it is now flats. Manchester has changed dramatically in the last twenty years but for me despite all the glitzy buildings and swanky restaurants it has also lost a bit of its soul.

What a very underated song this is. No matter what you thought of the stone roses this man is a musical genius. He's what Liam Gallagher hoped he would become after leaving oasis. Love it. Saw him in concert and he's great. Despite his wacky covid theories.
You ARE Manchester Mr Brown. You make me proud to be living here. This city is fucking amazing and its thanks to you and the music that this city has and will always generate

It's not about being a perfect singer
It's the inperfections that make it special and different
That grit and accent in his voice makes it real
Did he tell you that did he?

Bjork is just self indulgent towable
Ian Brown definitely doesn't get the credit he deserves for his solo output.

Yeah the first time
When you are stellified
Could be the last chance
I have to sanctify
So save the last dance
For me my love cause I
I see you as an angel freshly
Fallen from the sky
I made a shrine,
I made it for you
I see you are an angel
All the things that you do
And now I found tomorrow
With you I'm miles high
Shining like a diamond
In the darkness of the sky
I stellify
I'm miles high
I stellify
And so we're miles above
Our ribbon in the sky
And it's the real love
I see so in your eyes
So save the last dance
For me my love cause I
I see you as an angel freshly
Fallen from the sky
I made a shrine
That stands here for you
I see you are an angel
All the things that you do
No one knows tomorrow
The future stands to find
This rockets starts ablazing so for you
I stellify
I stellify
I'm miles high
I stellify
Yeah the first time
When you are stellified
Could be the last chance
I have to sanctify
So save the last dance
For me my love cause I
I see you as an angel freshly
Fallen from the sky
I made a shrine
With candles for you
I see you are an angel
All the things that you do
Now I found tomorrow
With you I stellify
Throw my arms above
Cause now I fly and touch the sky
I stellify
I'm miles high
I stellify
