My Music Staff totally revolutionized EVERYTHING for me! You most likely have considered this, but just to mention it - a couple years ago a switched to a set monthly tuition for my students, so now they pay the same amount every month, MyMusicStaff sends invoices automatically on the 1st of each month for that amount, and I offer a discount if my students enable auto pay. I always hated invoicing time, figuring out who had how many lessons each month, and then sending the invoice, waiting for them to pay, wondering if it was too soon to remind a family when they hadn’t paid, etc etc. Now on the 1st, I just get all my payments at once while I am drinking my coffee! Huge!

Oh I want to add one more thing. I agree they need to add a way to share and agree to policies. You can add check boxes to the registration page…. Now I cant remember exactly how I did this. Somehow I added boxes where they register asking if they agree to the policies, but then that left me in the lurch with a new year where I didn’t want to make returning students re-register just so they could click a box about the policies. That would be awesome if they could add something like what you showed in Honeybook.

I'm so glad I went with My Music Staff! Thanks for sharing how you use it, it gives me some good ideas! I ended up making a policy form on my personal website, which works well enough, but then I realized it would've been way easier to have just made my policies into a Google Form! I'll probably switch to that in the future.

Great video! It seems like My Music Staff is a lot more tailored for music teacher needs, and that Honeybook is suited more for larger slightly businesses
