Oh, to have been a “fly” on the wall at Parker, when it was made known that Line 6 was stealing the march on them in the acoustic simulator department.
I read someplace that Yamaha also collaborated with Line 6 in the design of these models. In its way, that also signifies that this model is based on the SBG2000.
Great to see anyone demonstrating the resonator model with a slide.

watching this in 2019 i still think this is a cool amp and FX unit , i haven had a chance to play the guitar. but i own the hd500x with s DT25 along with other tube amps and i think it still sounds great today , just retubed and set my bias sounds even better.

@guibr18 - I am using Channel A on the DT25. That is the default channel when you use the HD500 with the DT. If you decide you want to shut off the preamp model in the HD500 it will switch the DT amp to Channel B. Go check it out at Bananas!

the pod hd is providing the guitar amp modeling it completely controls the amp unless he turns off the hd processing then it is in channel b which is using a combination of amp modeling and/or tube and amp models

My old Variax acoustic was stolen a while back... which really pissed me off... but I thought about it afterwards and realized if I'd had guitars for open tunings in my car I would have lost a whole lot more. That's another advantage. I'm hanging for when they do another acoustic...PLEASE!!!

Guitarists are notoriously reluctant to embrace digital tech.

A pro would have all those guitars but the average Joe would not so it is real good for them, that guitar does sound very real, I'm a luthier of acoustics mainly, before I bought it I would have acoustics and electrics to compare to but this guitar sounds the best I have heard yet. Real nice. You can't go wrong with good modeling, all Kurzweil's are that way, my PC3x sounds fantastic with all the 50, 60, 70 and 80's modeled sounds.

I'm sure the scumbag who stole your guitar is having fun trying to figure out how to power it.

No i had the power supply in my traps case which was also stolen. Moral of the story....never leave your gear in your car.

I guess let that be a lesson. Don't leave shit like that in your car. Lot of bad people out there.

    さっさと引いて音を出してくれ。海外のこの手の動画って、いつもベラベラと喋ってばかりで、肝心の演奏を中々しない、しても少ない物が多い。これじゃデモにならんわ。
Play the guitar early and let me hear the sound. I want to hear the actual guitar sound, but he talks for a long time and rarely plays. why? This is not a demo performance.
