    In this video, I tell the story of how we lost a gas cap and it led to much bigger problems. Water and gas don’t mix so if you lose your gas cap get a new one immediately!

    I use StaBil Marine 360 if my rig will sit for any length of time. Not specific to your misfortune but a gas stabilizer is good practice to eliminate condensation in the fuel tank. Glad to hear you got it all fixed.

    If your RV runs on gasoline. Grab about 10 or more gallons of e85 next time you fill up. E85 will absorb any more water you’ve got in there.

    This is only my opinion.Try not to get fuel when you see the truck filling the station tanks. I feel the gas going into the tanks stirs up the water in the bottom and you have a higher chance of getting it in your RV. And it's always better to get fuel from a high volume station.

    sound like bad fuel, not water

      I hadn't thought of that @Four_Wheels_and_a_Highway though it was a lot of nasty and we had used gas from a few different stations but that could be it with even one bad batch!
