    1) I like the coloring of it. I also find it cool how he was able to put his own decal on the shield. The weathering is also a very nice factor which adds that realism.
    2) I like the paint scheme and how the blues and yellows contrast. However, it is a bit too glossy for my liking, but that might just be me. Another thing I like about it, is how to decals look level and even across the kit.
    3) While I do like the clash of colors, it looks like a plastic model kit. One of the cool things I usually like seeing in kits that have been painted and changed by the owner, is that if they look more realistic(weathering, shading, etc.) it makes it feel like something real, as opposed to a plastic kit.
    4) I love this build! The realistic look as well as the coloring give it that older, run down look I personally prefer in a kit.
Personally, I enjoy the last kit, mainly cause it has a realistic feeling I enjoy in customizing a kit. It looks like it is something in real life that has been through its fair share of battles and time, with the rustic kind of look.
I personally want to see more videos of building and customizing kits with different styles or even just testing different things, such as swapping shadow and light shades, or taking a color palette from the stock kit and swapping the primary and secondary colors.
While I did only find you recently, I am enjoying the content! I have been looking for decent tutorials to get into customizing my Gunpla, in which your videos will help a lot! Happy 5k-6k and good luck on 10k!

    1. The photography needs work but good looking paint
    2. Great colors (This one is my fav)
    3. I'm not a fan of bright primary colors but it doesn't look bad at all quality wise.
    4. This is a great weathered kit!
I love seeing work that you do on kits. Maybe throw a finished kit on a turn table, show it off then talk about each little part you worked on. What stood out to you as a builder and what challenges you had.

Congratulations! I'm glad to see your channel continue to grow!
    1. On #1, the Dilanza, I think my favorite feature is the shield. The tan stands out nice and then that custom decal on top really makes it pop. For kit #2 I think the paints look really smooth and I'm a big fan of the color choices. For kit #3 I also like the color choices and the matte appearance. The blue on it was using very sparingly which makes those pieces really stand out. For #4 I think the muted colors look great and I really think the dirt that's been added really looks nice. This one is the most realistic looking of all of the submissions IMO.
    2. Of all of them, my favorite is definitely #2 (the blue demi trainer). I think the paint job looks really clean and professional and again I really love the color choices. The restraint when using decals also really pays off here. It doesnt look too buys and the decals that are on it really put the cherry on top of an already beautiful looking build.
    3. I really enjoy your Featured Builder series so I would love to see more in this series. I learned quite a bit from your shading video with Saint-ism. It's a really great way to expose builders to techniques that they may not be aware of or know how to execute. I also didnt know about this Midwest Hobby build competition and I've been looking for something exactly like that so I would love to see more annoucements like this. As someone who has almost no social media it's kind of difficult to find these types of competitions.
Side note, I think doing a giveaway with the kit in the damaged box is a great idea! As long as the runners arent damaged, I see no reason not to! Also this gives us a better chance of winning so I'm biased ;)
Anyways thanks for all of the great content and keep it up! And good luck to everyone!

I do not live in the U.S., so I’m not eligible for the giveaway. I’m also the builder of one of the 4 kits shown…. However I’d like to give my opinion on the other 3 kits, pick my favorite and explain how I did the Midwest Hobby and Craft image on the Dilanza shield.
Kit #2: the metallic look of it is visually very captivating. Excellent painting.
Kit #3: fantastic use of yellow, likely the most difficult color to use on a gunpla. This kit is vibrant and dynamic in it’s action pose.
Kit #4: weathering extraordinaire! My vote as favorite kit goes to it!
How I did the symbol on the shield:
    - found an image of Midwest Hobby and Craft from their webside
    - printed it in color on a thin sheet of paper
    - cut the symbol along its edges.
    - glued it on the shield
That’s all! Very “primitive” and “rough” but apparently it has been liked by Plamo Therapist and, hopefully, by some of the viewers on his excellent channel.
What would I like to see more? Building videos for sure with explanations on how you achieved your results.
    Ciao!

    1-Thoughts on the 4 kits
-Blue Dilanza is pretty cool, has a nice worn look to it
-Demi Trainer has nice blue tones I especially like the darker blue. The yellow contrasts well with the theme
-Phoract is rather striking with the yellow, it's a nice tone and not to bright/loud
-The 4th kit has excellent weathering and comes across as a true "mech/machine"
2-the 4th is my fav given its overall look as if it could be dropped into a diorama
3-more tutorials paint tips are always nice

#3 is my favorite. Yellow is not the easiest color to work with, but his came out so clean!
I’d like to see more Taz, that’s enough;)

Shameless promotion time. The Pharact is my work so Ill refrain from commenting on it lol.
    1. Nice touch with the MWHC logo on the shield and nice color scheme.
    2. Very clean all around from paint, scheme, and decal application. Tough to choose but this would be my favorite.
    3. Ill just say thanks for putting the community build together. And it was fun to use colors I normally wouldn't work with. Hopefully we get some more in the future.
    4. Great weathering job. Its real easy to over do it and this just has the perfect amount. Great work.
As far as the channel goes keep up the great work and some more collaboration videos would be awesome. Those always are enjoyable.

The first one is really clean I love the pose and color choices it would look better with some panel separation. The second lot is amazing they did a really good job with the photo itself, I love the colors.the third one is definitely my favorite of the three I love the yellow and the super fun and dynamic pose, the last one is so cool I love the weathering and how beefy it is it just looks mean and super aggressive it's awesome. For what I'd like to see more of on the channel. . . I'm a new subscriber and I'm still going through and watching your older videos :) I love the way you talk about mental health and how hobbies can really help so any build videos where you're talking about mental health awareness is great. I just recently bought my first kit, I've wanted to build Gundam for at least ten years but due to my mental health / ADHD/ spectrum issues I always talked myself out of it. Until recently my wife went and made me buy myself some for me so I got an hd, rg, and mg kit. My favorite kit is the pg unicorn with LEDs when I first saw it I just thought it was the coolest thing ever my favorite from the kits you showed is the yellow one. Sorry my response is all over the place I have severe memory issues among other things and I'm super new to the hobby so I'm not sure of everything just yet :) I'm in the process of building my first kit the rg wing Gundam :)

    congratulations on the 6k
i love the simplicity and almost anime style painting of the first kit, the finish of the second kit stood out to me idk what about it but it just looks so good, i'm not a huge fan of the yellow of the 3rd kit as its overpowering and could be broken up more but props to the attention to detail, the fourth kit is my favorite its weathered so well, as it isn't overdone but still gives a battle worn feel.
i do really enjoy your content and find the tutorials helpful as you have a nice pacing and your words are very intentional but not robotic.
I would like to see maybe being able to relax as i find this difficult but idk i love your stuff, congrats

Honestly I hope as time goes on your channel continues to get larger as given your video’s depth and quality I’m sure it will continue. Hopefully your next channel milestone feels just as large as this one has been.
    1. For kit number one I really dig the color palette the creator chose for it as it really screams the Dijeh from zeta for me in its looks. My bias for gelgoog like machines and it definitely takes the cake for me.
    2. For the second for some reason it looks to me as it took some inspiration from the Blue Destiny and Barzam colors which I’m not opposed to and the quality of the work overall is the most shining in terms of its color palette.
    3. Definitely an interesting one. The colors for some may not be as great but my liking for the shokew from victory Gundam makes it work for me.
    4. The last one definitely is the most war torn and feels more gritty which to me is definitely a cool aspect. This one is definitely the most out of weathering the most outstanding.
And lastly for what I’d like to see you take a crack at in videos at a later date if you ever feel motivated for something abit different is to take a look into more of the obscure sides of kits eventually. It would definitely help in getting information out to people who need it the most in looking at things that may look cool on the surface but have little to no information in review form to help them to be knowledgeable to what they are getting there hands on.

The color choice and weathering on the first kit makes it feel used, like an old car someone is fixing up.
The blue Demi is my favorite. It looks like it's in a mecha sports league.
The Pharact is cool, the yellow makes it look like Bumblebee.
The 4th one looks the most real to me.
I'd love to see more tutorials and tool reviews. I'm pretty new to the hobby, just got my first kits in March, and your content has really helped me in deciding what tools to buy and how to use them properly.

Beautiful kit I was lucky enough to build recently. My box was also damaged, but I knew that buying it and got a small discount.

First kit has a nostalgic anime / battle feel while splashing into custom.
Second kit has such a clean showmanship finish. I agree with the control on decals. All and all I could definitely picture it on a shelf as a center piece.
Third kit just pops so well. The kits always speak for themselves but I feel like this paint and kit combo is the perfect marriage.
Fourth kit has such a gritty feel. I’m newer to the hobby and have looked into various techniques. While they’re all awesome I’ve drifted towards the battle worn look to try and perfect. This kit could just as easily be in front of you as sure as a helicopter.
Favorite for me if having to choose would be 4 out of bias to technique but it’s a close call to try and pick 1.
For the channel Therapy + tutorial + builds seems to just work. I have bipolar and add. Building really is therapeutic and, in my opinion, all content is good content when it enclosed something we all enjoy so much.
Grats on the 5-6k and thanks for the chance. 🙂

    Congratulations 🎉🎉
    1) I like the color separation on the first kit, can't go wrong w the decal lol
    2) the Demi trainer colors are popping! I like the gloss on it.
    3) reminds me of bumble bee! Nice posing too!
4)love the weathering and the battle damage on the kit!
Fave kit goes to the bumble bee look-alike Gundam Pharact!
Suggestion would be more tutorial vids, or just more vids in general. Keep it up bro! ❤ Next goal = 10k subs!

Congrats! I'm glad to be a part of the community!
    1. I love a Blue mobile suit, The finish on the Demi looks sooo cool, Yellow is an underrated color and I'm glad they didn't try to hide it, and I really dig the composition with it floating in darkness.
    2. Pharact is such a cool MS and the bold yellow just does it for me.
    3. Just keep making content! I love being surprised by all the things you do.
I can't wait to see what's next, heres to 10k and beyond!

Congrats on reaching the 6 K subs! Had to reup to you channel on my non personal account
    1. I think all of the kits are unique in there own way but the first demi trainer was a great example of good use of decals(Something I still struggle with). the Pharact was bold with the color choice and balance. Yellow is such a hard color to use I feel, but they pulled it off. The other kits had great work as well but they just didn't vibe with me.
    2. Just like above...that Pharact is too interesting to not be my winner.
    3. As someone who is in therapy I appreciate your therapeutic use of the modeling hobby. Its so unique and honestly really good to just listen to. Even when you are making me realize I need to narrow my hobby down for space just to my absolute fave kits and series.
    keep up the great work!

  • @sdeflora
    @sdeflora ปีที่แล้ว +1

Blue dilanza was nice with the finish on the chest piece. That second demi trainer got me with the contrasting blue and orange: a smart combo.
The Pharact with the lighter orange was nice. That shade with the lines of the kit reminds me of sandstone boulders.
The last trainer's weathering was indeed cool.
I would say my fave is #2.
I first found your videos because of the "therapist react" vids. I love channels like Wisecrack that do deep analytical dives on pop culture, and you have great mental health insights as characters move through the story.

I really like the colors of the first one they are kind of toyish and really are quite nice!
The second one is definitely my favorite of the four the colors are so bright and utterly delightful!
The third really reminds me of bumblebee from transformers which is really cool!
And lastly the fourth is really, really cool! It looks like if Chu Chu's demi trainer was forgotten and left to rot in wilderness.
And as for a channel suggestion I would personally love more gunpla customs or just out of box builds!
I also want to say congratulations on hitting 6000 subscribers! Honestly you deserve way more your content is just so good!

Very cool my friend told me to check out gundam so here I am , sorry if I don't know the names but
    1) The first three gundam I feel would look better if there primary and secondary colors were swapped.. imagine a green and blue gundam with a yellow sword for the first one.
    2) my favorite gundam would have to be the 4th one I litterally asked my friend if people do rusted gundams before the model popped up.
    3) while I am new to the channel I think watching a timelaspe build and paint of a gundam would be amazing and I would love to watch that :D

hello, i think the first while painted well, lacks detail in the kit itself. the second kit, I like this color blue more, the color balance is really good, and the use of decals help balance with the minimal detail. the third kit seems really well done but appears to be rushed for the skill of this artist, while they did do some nice detail work there is no panel lining as an example. the fourth kit, weathering is very well done, although i am a little confused on a few of the placements of weathering and it seems a shame at least the weapon mounting system did not get this level of attention. its really hard tell tell on the rifle since the lighting is not great, and the backpack is even more difficult to tell whats going on there. Props go out to the 4 artists for putting their work out there, job well done. I hope I didn't offend anybody . I will just say the first kit is my favorite, it was panel lined and weathered and reminds me more of gundam in general, and if it had little more detail i would buy a kit of. would really like to see the state of resin printing for conversion kits, and when or if it will ever be better than recast resin kits. Here is to the hobby continuing to grow

I like the colors of the first one. I really like the second one I like the way it was photographed and the posing of it is really nice, the third one the third one makes me think of transformers has real bumble bee vibes I really like the way it looks like it's in motion, the last one looks a lot more realistic it's weathered really well. The second one is my favorite. I really like how you put the hobby and therapy / mental health together so more of that.
