At first I thought this was Gil Shaham's recording but just found out this is from *Andrew Hardy's* album. The curious thing is, his album: "Kabalevsky, Rakov, Shebalin: Russian Violin Concertos" is also on Spotify but I am unable to play it.
omg Mikip Entertainment that is so rude of you to do such a thing. Name calling should be bannable and you should definitely be on a youtube blacklist of some sort.
@malikrox I still doubt its Oistrakh. The scale run at 0:16-0:17 seem way too uneven and sloppy, while the arpeggiated passage in 0:46-0:51 is just... not Oistrakh =\ Besides, Oistrakh only made two recordings of the Kabalevsky, both in 1949; the sound quality of this recording seems way too recent.
Jack Callaghan it means that when translated from Russian characters, there are different ways to phonetically spell it. Just like Tchaikovsky/Tchaikowsky.
naa after I played I realized it was the bad barf string crossing. the particular piece does not have double stops at the particular location. instead it quickly crosses over to ext4 on the G string, a big reach that sounds like a barf when the finger is not pressed down firm
Is it possible to know who's playing? In this version I think is not clear the verve of the concerto. Vivacity and humor are lost here. Technically speaking I don't like the portato of the first phrase and he (or she) is not accurate in the arpeggio of quavers. Plus the second theme is not in tune...
Uts G Well, everyone can have their opinion, but you shouldn't be criticizing people. Just because he/she says something bad, that doesn't mean you should attack them. Everyone's opinion is different and valuable, and everyone interprets pieces of music differently. p.s. Look at acsecnarfv 's profile. Why would someone post recordings of music if they did't like it. Just because you can't play a certain instrument doesn't mean that they don't have a basic knowledge of music history and a good ear.
this concerto is way too underrated
Zan Huang kabalevsky is underrated
When the violin has a rest Kabalevsky's face pops up -- that's cute
Tutti: starts*
My brain: doesn't Kabalevski look so cute!!
he plays this very lively! it's a very good version of Kabalevsky 1st mov

Love the intro, unmistakably Russian
Do you have a list of songs that have these types of spicy beginnings?
4:20 is the second movement. and how funny, because that mvt is LIT.
Is it tho
@@violinplayer0595 yea it is
I really love the rhythms in here
this one is so good people SLEEP on it he’s a king for putting this out there
please give credit to performers..
Sean Gay
Sean Gao sorry it was my auto change on my keyboard .
MikiP Entertainment me too !!
omg Mikip Entertainment that is so rude of you to do such a thing. Name calling should be bannable and you should definitely be on a youtube blacklist of some sort.
Ryan esketamine hi can you read words? Apple phones will autocorrect the words so “GAO” changes to “GAY” on apple phone
Браво супер исполнено
Very nice...love it
Hermosa pieza.
its been 10 years and none of you sleuths have figured out who the performer is? pls
che bello!

The second movement is contained in this part. The Andante Cantabile
Best one so far!
Weird but amazing at the same time? Does that make sense?
Second mvt starts at 4:20 btw jfc
4:20
I'm supposed to play this on my exam in 20 days
I am playing this for district auditions and I am so dead. This is a very fast concerto and has difficult tones. I prob won’t pass the audition lol
How did it go?
On my sheets it is Kabalevsky but here it is Kabalevski. Interesting.
This happens a lott
with Russian composers. Usually changes y to I, w to v or ff
Kabalewski Please forgive me for skipping 2 part, just for ICONIC 1 and now when i listen to both i need confesion...🙏🏼
me encanta!
me encanta anca mi!
Este concierto es inconcluso???
cool
Donde puedo consegir la partitura?
¿who do have sheel?
Listen to te last note and compare to oistrakh it's so different
@rozzanttyuk It is AMUSA violin for AMEB
fairyghast1 it's CMUSA (Certificate of Performance) I believe
who playes it
Is ir Kabalevsky, Kabalewski, or Kabalevski???
Hendrominus Nero depends how you translate Russian
@@erinlee2708 *transliterate
I don't know really, but I played it after 4 years of playing, my 5th year...
with that tempo? congrats!
It looks easy...I don't know if it really is tho...and it sounds very good almost like a video game theme
I played second movement for UIL. Not easy lol
It looks easy but it's so fast, it's not
Akis Tegos it isn’t easy for me, maybe partially because my violin teacher just left me to try to learn part of it, we ran out of time😅
@apollo1742 yes it is
It depends on how you transliterate it from the Russian, but the one I see most commonly is the first one - Kabalevsky.
Felttheneedtocomment so, what does that mean?
Jack Callaghan it means that when translated from Russian characters, there are different ways to phonetically spell it. Just like Tchaikovsky/Tchaikowsky.
Itzhak Perlman for the violon?
Félix Galy probably Andrew hardy
Good song
Im sorry to be THAT person...but i cant myself...i go to a music school...."Good SONG"...its a PIECE.... im sorry.
and so is the second mov
@creis90 mi incanta...
wtf was that at 4:05? it sounds like barfing...
+Ryan Ma nvm it was actually some sound thing the violin has right?, prob not barf
+Ryan Ma lol this sir, is called a double stop... Pretty much all virtuoso pieces are full of barf
naa after I played I realized it was the bad barf string crossing. the particular piece does not have double stops at the particular location. instead it quickly crosses over to ext4 on the G string, a big reach that sounds like a barf when the finger is not pressed down firm
This is not oistrakh the recording is wayyyyy clearer
Do you mean orchestra
Ashley Yang David Oistrakh was a very famous Russian violinist, a contemporary of kabalevsky and many other Soviet composers at the time
Ok my B
PMEA district 10 anyone?
Hilarious that this was considered a "student concerto" in Russia
It’s a student concerto in the US too! Though it is one of the last student concertos played before moving onto the big works I believe
Kabalewski
@malikrox ...are you sure? this is nothing compared to this.
v=DxF9qDKpw8Y
@zelenyna king david
Close to Wieniawski, but not insane enough.
he plays this very similar to me, only better :) lol a very good recording

Uts G yeah lol

Oistrakh is better
The second movement is contained in this part. The Andante Cantabile
