These are all so delightful! Never heard these before. Thanks to you I have heard this. I didn't learn piano as a child, now as an older adult I certainly will learn all of these.
@@onebadhombre7158 oh for sure, but by graded standards these are absolute beginner pieces. For non-graded purposes these are late beginner intermediate pieces for someone who has never played or had formal lessons.
@@Vasioth why are you discussing if these are beginner enough? These are most certainly basic, technique building, beginner pieces. You can't go much simpler. Obviously you won't play these at the first lesson, but they are very much beginner...

Yes I got your request. I've gotten a bunch of requests this past week. I had it set so you could just download with asking for access. Don't know what happened. Anyway, I'm looking into it.
ok so apparently there was some kind of security update that prevents me from making it downloadable. If you msg me with your email, I can send it to you directly.
Kids are going to go crazy after listening to three measures of consolidated counterpoint with too many repetitive notes...it's as if chord progressions don't exist
Most of my children piano students don't even have the basic notes memorized anymore (minus middle C), so repetition just drills what notes they should be playing. Besides, chord progressions (in Western Classical music which leaks into modern contemporary music and jazz) was a recent Baroque discovery. Ostinatos and counterpoint were much more commonly used in the past and frankly easier to handle as long the rhythmic aspect of it is not too complex. We are not talking about Medieval-era rhythmic complexity.

I remember I played that piece when I was like 7 or 8.
I gave my piano student funny event to play for the Abrsm prep test... it was one of her fav pieces to do.
Thank you for sharing this. I was practicing many of them recently. Very good to listen to example.
Qian Zheng you’re welcome! Happy practicing
@@DrUkeMusic is it possible to know who is the interpret?
@@Countrapuntienne I wish I knew. So sorry I do not have the performer’s name.
Imagine playing the excruciating “Playing” 2 times faster than the normal speed
It would almost sound like a baroque tocatta or something. The same in scherzo
Beautiful music ! Love it
I am curious to know whose performance this is - it's an instructive interpretation!
My favorite is still op 27, but a few of these are attractive too and certainly more concise
Very good interpretation! Thanks
Nostalgia for me!
04:06 I love this waltz (13)
Never hear this before. Really lovely.

- How short do you want your songs to be ?
Kabalevsky : Yes.

These are very essential exercises for absolute beginners.A must before advancing further.
Are you kidding? I'm pretty sure these are not for absolute beginners and these are not just exercises.
@@worksofhands They totally are actually. ABRSM Grade 1 - 2 pieces are this level, which is considered beginner's piano.
