#Xmen97 - บันเทิง
The X-Men met Cable multiple times in the original series after he traveled back from the future. This is the first time they realize who he actually is though.
Cable was in the original animated series fighting apocalypse
This episode shows why nightcrawler is my favorite x men his way with words and his compassion towards others
Same here. Nightcrawler is my favourite X-Men, too, and I adore his character so much. He really represents everything that the X-Men are fighting for and how, despite looking like a literal demon, constantly discriminated against as a spawn of the devil, abandoned by his mother and nevertheless, Nightcrawler still has the purest heart of them all. His devotion to Christianity has taught him how to be more human than most bigoted humans who hated him. Kurt is too good for such a cruel world, and I really love his different relationships with other X-Men characters, like his friendship with Logan, his adorable brotherly love/friendship with Kitty Pryde and his devoted unconditional love for his sister Rogue.
"no he didn't kill!" What are you watching with? It's not with your eyes, that's for sure.
Madeline is still the mother of his child and he still loved her. It’s more like Jean is saying it’s OK to mourn her.
Sheer excellence. I love how the X-Men take on human sentinels for the first time in this new animated series and I loved it so much and I got to proudly declare that Bastion earned his spot on my ALL TIME FAVORITE VILLAINS LIST. Also either Episode 7 or Episode 9 would be my number 2 favorite episode of this beautiful new series
Cable shows up quite a bit in the original run, the show just hinted at it, but Jean & Cyclops never knew. Also the team never knew, but Cable did, just never said anything.
Well that’s the thing. Remember in the original when Cyclops inquired what to Jean what saw when she scanned Cable’s mind and all she told him was a vague, “it’s relevant to our future”.
4:21 I would wake up, snuggle myself in my blanket and sit on the living room floor 🥲 every Saturday and watch X-men. I feel the nostalgia with this
Remember Madelyne Pryor has Jean Grey's memories, and Cable has been in the old X-Men series. However, at that time they didn't know Cable was Nathan Charles Summers!
That guy in the Purple with sinister is Bastion. You will learn more about him in the next episode, he was also in Genosha when it was attacked and captured Magneto when Rogue and Magneto are dancing or about to Dance he walks by.
Jean/Madelyne encountered Cable a few times in the original animated series. Cable already knew about his parents back in season 2's "Time Fugitives, Part 2" but never directly came out and said it. In fact, Jean even briefly took a glimpse in his mind and saw a vision of Scott and Madelyne all the way back then, but didn't understand what it meant. Of course, with her (Jean and Madelyne's) memories already being swiss-cheesed by Mr. Sinister, who knows what they may or may not have remembered about Cable since then.
That said, he was in multiple episodes of the original series... "Slave Island," "The Cure," "Time Fugitives Part 1-2" and "Beyond Good & Evil Parts 1-4." In the first season his role was more ambiguous and he fought against some of the X-Men, but then he has to go back in time to ally with them in later episodes.
Yes.
Cable appeared in Season 1
Yes, Cable has been in the show before but this is the first time they’ve realized who he is.
This is the type of series where it would be thematic for you to react with the duvet cover and munching on breakfast cereal. For nostalgia’s sake.
:-)
How is standing with Mutants the wrong message? Also, Mutants living their life on Genosha isn't throwing it in their faces.
"Rubbing it in their faces" is a phrase used when a lot of marginalized people just live their lives. I'm in the States. I'm black and my wife is white. When we were early in our marriage, a woman actually told us that we were rubbing our beliefs in her kid's face and she didn't want them to grow up with the view that race mixing is normal. People are awful sometimes, and it's hard not to feel like Rogue when you grow up in a world like that.
Have you guys been having issues with copyright strikes over the show's intro theme? I've heard a few other channels having that problem and they have had to edit or mute the song.
No strikes but some music claims yeah. It's why we show less than usual.
You should most definitely react to wind breaker it’s still airing only having 6 episodes right now.
Cable was in several episodes of the old series but they had no idea his origins back then
I honestly didn't expect Bastion to be revealed to be the big bad, and though I'm not too familiar with the character, he certainly has a sly, creepy tone, which gives you chills. Apparently, Bastion is some human-Sentinel hybrid made out of Nimrod and Master Mould hell-bent on wiping out Mutants, but that's all I know. Apparently, he was teased in Episode 4 when we see Forge explain his history, and you can see a glimpse of Bastion with Forge and another scientist we saw in the original show, so it looks like they were setting him up.
Love seeing Captain America's cameo and the mention of the Hulk; it makes this universe feel fleshed out and interconnected with the other Marvel 90 '90s shows. I wish Wolverine and Cap got to reunite again for one time in this episode since, canonically, they both served alongside each other in WW2. I wish we saw more of Cap in this episode to be honest.
I have to say, seeing Rogue struggle with the gripping internal emotional struggle she's going through and all the rush of emotions, grief, anger, pain, and vengeance was tragic to watch. Gambit's funeral alone was so sad, and I love Nightcrawler's powerful words about Gambit's strengths but also his tragic flaws and how he sadly didn't see his own potential. Im glad Nightcrawler stepped up as she adopted her brother to comfort her, but her willingly killing Trask, even if she didn't know he was a human Sentinal, was dark asf!
Also, cool seeing Emma survive and unlock her diamond form, I hope if the show gets a Season 2, they add Emma as part of the X-men, and then they can really go all out on the whole Emma, Scott and Jean love triangle drama.
I also find it interesting how members of the team are becoming more jaded and darker given the understandable circumstances like Rogue, Beast and Cyclops who seem to slowly agree with Magneto's mentality.
She reads minds: so that's how she knows its her son. Rouge: From MISSISSIPPI. Gambit: LOUISIANA. Southern states of USA
We can't rule out funny business since we've seen Sinister and Bastion have amazing tech, but we should assume that's just plain Magneto.
Cable and Bishop were in a lot of episodes back then because there was a ton about the future timeline.
There's nothing I can add to the discussion, other than we never skip the intro. Disney+ should just remove the option altogether. 🤘🏽👨🏽🎤🎶🎸
he was crying over the death of the loss of his child's mother
Watch X-men 92
You guys are so funny 🤣 awesome video 🙂 and no music is not an issue lol I like music 🙂
Bastion
Jean met Cable in one of the earlier seasons.
I’ve heard several reactors say they keep getting strikes for the music
Not had any strikes just music getting claimed a lot.
That's not another Magneto. You will know soon
The primary music issue is related to the intro unfortunately. At least that’s what th other reaction channels have complained about.
It's not. It's the whole damn episode. We have never played the intro music and still had issues. Lol
Rouge is nowhere close to Hulk in terms of strength, only Sentry, Juggernaut and Gladiator can rival him. Madelyne new about Cable through Jeans memory cause they already met him a few times in the original series.
Music is always an issue. It’s best to mute anything not spoken over.
:-)
No one rivals the Hulk in strength.
Rogue is nowhere near as strong as the Hulk.
