For my garage/alley, it's very sensitive to motion, constant notifications, and my alley's city lights allow me to see in color at night w/ IR LEDS turned off, (good for hidden camera bc camera lights don't turn on). If cars drive by fast, they aren't always captured, and I can never(day/night) see inside CAR WINDOWS, blury. SOUND captured is loud but not clear enough to make out all words. Love that we can speak through the MICROPHONE to scare illwilled people off, and that we can turn the SPOTLIGHT on at will.
Just ordered these a few days ago. Very informative review, I didn't know about the motion and door sensors so I'll be ordering a few of those. Also have not seen anyone else covering all the details on the setup of the cameras. Thanks for that! ~Pat

It captures about 100 video clips per day and the battery only last a week, so I have that one to a power plug in the garage all the time. The other batteries seem to last 60-90 days. The resolution is just okay. I was expecting better for 1080p. I would advise stepping up to at least 2K. The app is really easy to use. I also have one of their indoor cameras at my 93 Y.O. dads house to keep an eye on his safety tied into the app. Nice to have them all under the same app. As for storage, the home base has 16 gig of storage. So you can download videos you want to keep or they will get written over at some point. Mine seem to be there for around 60 days before they are gone. I've been meaning to do a review on my own channel. I just have not had time to get to it. Best of luck, Pat

Unfortunately, the eufyCam 2C does not have a feature to take photo snapshots at predetermined intervals, regardless of motion detection. However, it does have a "Continuous Recording" option that allows you to keep the camera recording all the time, which may accomplish what you're looking for. You can also use the app to view the live stream from the camera at any time, so you can always check in on what's happening outside your garage. cnl
Does the base really have to connected to the ethernet / wifi for the whole thing to work? I mean, can the base be standalone (without connected to wifi/ethernet) so that the mobile phone can just communicate with the cameras via the base?
I didn't change any settings, so I'm not sure what to tell ya :( maybe it has something to do with the lighting or it not getting a good enough angle of your face! Or maybe there is a setting you need to select.. I'm really not sure though. ~B
Nice system but Eufy doesn't have a powerful outdoor siren or a flash light. Burglars are mainly startled by a powerful siren, which the Eufy system cannot offer! Eufy does have a beeper (alarm) on the homebase and the camera, but with that you tell the burglar exactly where the camera and the Eufy homebase are. If he also takes it with him, then you have nothing because the video images are stored on the homebase! And the beeping sound from the camera or the Eufy homebase is far from powerful. A pitty for Eufy security system and a missed opportunity.
First of all thank you so much for your detailed video. I do have a quick question / issue on Homebase2 connection to my router. I do have tp-link Deco X20 mesh system, when I try to connect my homebase2 with the internet , it has blue blinking light only and then I could see error message "Network Exception, please try again later." With an error screen titled "Unable to add HoemBase2". Could you please help me out? I tried everything reset, unplug power cable, router restart,reset button on homebase2 but it just keep blinking blue led. Help would be highly appreciated 🙏🏼

i just got these cam yesterday is it a setting you have to enable to make it catch a still pic of your face? never saw any of my videos do that
