I have a 2002 Honda Civic LX. I am changing both front struts and right side wheel bearing and axle. Every video I've seen so far that mentioned it, said the wheel should be spinning freely. Does the transmission have to be in Neutral for this? Neither left or right wheel spins at all. It makes sense that a car can role in neutral. And NOT in Park. What is everybody talking about? Are they forgetting to mention this?
im getting ready to blast mine out. the joint is bad and im just too lazy to rebuild it bought a brand new one off amazon. i usually get pro grade parts. my impala that i used to have was bad trying to get the CV out. im kinda impressed that they made toyotas easy to work on. honda is a shit bag to work on it. bearings suck CV axles and struts suck im not a big fan of hondas motors either they fall apart too easily toyota has the best when it comes to reliable vehicles.
