Wood Turning a 3000 Year Old Shape from Red Cedar

  • I was inspired while watching a series on cable tv to turn this shape.
    Made from Red Cedar but the original shapes were made from clay.
    My friend Josh sent the wood to me.

    That is without a doubt the prettiest Red Cedar vessel (vase?) I have ever seen, Gary. Terrific job of turning that shape, my friend. Awesome finish on it, as well. Another great video from that "Little Ole Turner From Oregon"! Next thing, you might have to join that "Little Ole Band From Texas" if Billy Gibbons ever gets tired of playing guitar and singing.
