Tip: Lynette is a mini Yelan, Sayu is Sonic, and Kirara is a walking, climbing cat-in-a-box.
Just getting a tall male character and managing your stamina well is probably faster than Lynette. Her skill is a joke sadly.
Ganyu, zhongli, kazuha, sayu and you have easy time clearing daily quest.
I know its already easy, but you dont need to manage both health, energy, travel distance with that team

1. Fill your energy bar to access high damage status buff or attack
2. Chase your enemy staggered by your skill / burst

I'm a relatively new player, I started on 3.8, and the only tip I could give people that hasn't already been talked about can be summed up in one word: Patience. It's not a competition, there's no PvP or arena or anything, there's no need to 36 star the abyss, or get a top 1% build on Akasha, or whatever your goal is. Just take your time.
You're gonna enjoy the game a lot more if you play without your mind on grinding to get to a higher level fast, or farming the perfect artifact (if anything will kill anyone's love for this game, is grinding for an elemental damage goblet on set with good Crit rolls) etc. Just log in, do your dailies, explore for chests, farm a bit, do some story quests or side stories, spend your resin and log out. If you need help with bosses or other difficult content join a discord or any other community and ask for help, the community is chill and someone will offer you a hand and show you funny stuff and a secret chest or two.
Just to give pespective, playing since day one, and with average luck like me will net you 4-5 character top 1% akasha.
Thats the law of probability distribution does to us, no need to worry about your character, this game like in real life you trade challenge for comfort.
In the end of the day I choose comfort and playing basically same team composition for abyss, rational and ganyu mono. I can change 1 member on each team if needed and dont need to waste hours learning attack pattern for pathetic 600 primo.
Not gonna lie, game is fun for someone who doesnt really have much time
I would consider yourself as midgame player. New players are those who has AR 50 or below
Patience really is the best advice
The game requires so much patience to do point of madness. The RNG in this game is outrageous. I'm a day one player and I still don't have SINGLE cryo goblet that has 2 crit substats on it. I don't even want a set piece. JUST AN OFFPIECE DAMMIT!
As someone who started late 3.8, I agree with this. I went from start to ar 55 in the span of 1-2 months. And it burnt me out so much. The game is all about patience and pacing so no need to rush just need to be consistent.
Here’s a tip from an ex- min maxer and completionist
If you have done all your quests, 100% your regions, get all the oculus and chests, and you need that little push of primos, here’s 3 ways you can squeeze in some little bit of primos
1. Achievement hunting, there’s an achievement tracker you can use, and some of it are really easy like buying books, cook food, fighting certain enemy whether in coop or doing it specifically according to the achievements, it’s actually a decent amount
2. Teapot sets, every character you have will give you 40 primos total in teapot, if you have 70% of the current roster, it’s at least total 10 pulls + extra stuff like talent books which we all know are a pain to farm, tree farming is exceptionally easy now with the boon of elder tree gadget, and you’ll have the recipe for the teapot items if you’ve chest hunted all the regions
3. Ascend all your characters to 5*, this might be confusing, “why would I want to get standard banner pulls, you want limited banner”
Yes. But, with those standard pulls you can get 4* weapons/characters, or 5*, and get masterless star glitters to purchase limited banner pulls in shop, it is a pain to do, it takes a lot of resin and exp books, and it’s not even guaranteed to get the masterless starglitter , but if you’re desperate, it is a viable way, also it’s your chance to build those unique and specific characters for your team building as the video stated

The only tip I can think of is that if you keep forgetting the parametric transformer you can set the crystalfly thing going at the same time because you'll get a reminder in the top left corner of the map when THAT is finished, and they both take a week.

@@Nellhatesyou set crystal fly trap up in the cave next to liyue harbor,(in mount Tianheng) load it with that blue magical crystal chunk is what I usually do , and lots of it conveniently located nearby and get 15 crystal flies every week like clockwork!
My biggest tip is: if you don't have fast reflexes; or good hand-eye coordination, you should pull a shielder. Zhongli saved not only my account but my love of the game. Also: don't let people tell you that your main/favourite character is bad. If you love them and you use them often; then chances are you will be fine using them. Since you know how to use them, they are your best asset. Just team them with great supports. My last tip is: if you aren't good with a certain weapon type; don't pull for a highly rated character that uses that weapon. There are so many great characters that use other weapons that can do similar if not mostly the same thing. When I first started I thought I would be a bow main, I ended up using swords more than any other weapon. I only have one built bow character because there are some puzzles and such that require bows to solve.

@@TechTalk0069 Thank you. It took me a while to get the hang of polearms. Thoma isn't that bad, but Cyno and Xaio..... Now I'm working on claymores. I won't ever use bows though.
I really like the speed factor of swords and polearms; that's always been my play style in combat games.
Claymores are a bit clunky, but Noelle is fun and efficient (and keeps showing up on my pulls; she's like C5 now iirc).
Catalysts... depends on the character. Currently using Yanfei for pyro, but only bc I don't have Thoma. (Really want Heizou, too... Speedy punchy boy.)
Bows are R U D E on mobile though, so Fischl is used for puzzles and nothing else.
Using weapons you prefer really does make a huge difference!
After playing on a PC, I would never, ever play on a mobile phone.
Being in a ldr I often have to use my phone for genshin when visiting my partner, and it's insane to me that there's no controller support on android, makes it so unenjoyble to play I basically just log on the get welkin and log off, otherwise it's just too painful to control
It’s interesting because I play on mobile and it feels fine for me (because I am used to it), haha. I personally don’t find it too painful to control the way tuinhoofd said.
I want to also try PC some day, but my integrated graphics laptop just crashes xD
I don't know for phones specifically, but I use an Ipad and it works really well for me
C0 Sayu is more than enough for quick movement, if you got one, you don't need expensive things like Wanderer or Yelan.
Unfortunately, unlike the others, she halts stamina Regen while rolling. Still gotten a lot of use though
@sanguinemluna4337 ngl i just swap between sayu and kirara, once one skill is done the other skill is up so u can have infinite movement with these 2 skills for the most part

Xianyun is currently my favorite overworld exploration character. I'm very much contemplating of getting her first constellation the next time she reruns if no one else trump her overworld traversal experience (looking at you Arlecchino). I replaced my C1 Yelan with her since she can go places Yelan get stuck on most of the time despite the relaxed pathing patch.
Yelan is good for flat ground, upward slope, downward slope, low ceiling area. Not very good at uneven area, water, chasm.
Wanderer is good for traversing chasm, flat ground, vertical distance. Not very good at very steep upward slope since he drags on the ground slowing his speed.
Xianyun is good for traversing open area, upward slope, downward slope, flat ground, chasm. Not very good at low ceiling area although she can still do it.
Furina is good for traversing open water indefinitely.
My overworld team has both Xianyun and Gaming, so any fight inside a hilichurl hut or any space with low ceilings becomes pure chaos 🤣
My favorite exploration character is TH-cam - never miss a chest, no brainpower needed, fast and efficient
@@ABC-yj6cy sometimes we have to do that if the teapot requires a certain blueprint from the over world. Or those weird quests that aren't very descriptive of what we need to do next.
100% recommend getting her C1 for exploration. It's so much fun being able to do 3 skill combos in a row instead of just one before going into cooldown.
Arlecchino most likely won't replace any of the big four exploration 5*s, sadly. Her unique charged attack/floating state drains your entire stamina bar and is only slightly faster than Wanderer.
I think there's a lot of people that don't realize how important the "pick your favorites" tip is.
Let's say every 5 star costs you 92 wishes (the average to get a limited 5 stars considering the possibility of losing the 50/50).
Now, let's say you're faced with the choice to get of a really meta 5 star character that will guarantee you to 36 stars the abyss from the day it joins your team; OR you can get a off-meta character that you like a lot, but won't help you to pass through the abyss so you decide to don't even try fighting there.
If you get the meta character, and every 15 days you get yours 600 primos from the abyss it will take you 368 days to recover those 92 wishes. It will take a whole year to pay off!!! And that is considering that you wouldn't even try the abyss with the off-meta character this entire year.
So, is it really worth it to pass a character that you like to get a "stronger" one or even to get a amazing support that you simply don't like?
I pulled Diluc as my first 5* and fell in love with his play style, I was getting good at dragon strike (on occasion). Coop people would comment on how I shouldn’t build Diluc, he has fallen off, blah blah blah. He is now back in the top 5 pyro DPS and I have him at C3 with Wolfs Gravestone. I just can’t bring myself to buy a skin, even with Welkin moon gems though
Also it is only the 12 floor, you can clear floor 11 with any characters. I 33 star with only raiden and nahida as 5 star. It will take around 4-5 years to recover for character with 50-100 more primos from abyss
meta in things like exploration and overworld like yelan or kazuha also chip down time on a lot of things like dailies explorations and domains
Also worth mentioning for the "who to level" section is that Crowd Control requires you to be within 20 levels of the target to be able to group them. So at a minimum, characters like Kazuha/Sucrose/Venti want to be at level 80 for grouping reasons (the highest-level enemies that can show up is level 100). It ends up that these characters are also Swirlers, so for damage reasons they also want to get to 90 eventually, but if someone needs a good checkpoint to pause building an anemo character because they want to build someone else, taking the groupers to 80 is a good pausing point for you to change your investment target before coming back to the anemo and bringing them up to 90.
Is it necessary to upgrade my Xingqiu to lvl 90 or should I save those books for future characters

Xingiqu is fine to have at 80/90 in that hyperbloom team. Ascending him to 80/90 lets you have max level talents without having to spend the exp books to take him to max level.
The only time you really want Xingqiu at 90/90 is for Nilou Bloom teams.
If you have the spare resources, then sure, it's fine to take Xingqiu to 90/90 for just a little extra attack, but you'll likely have other characters who have higher priority for the resources.
Also, Tighnari doesn't really fit the team you shared because Tighnari wants charge attacks when Xingqiu requires normal attacks. Pick another dendro, hydro, cryo, Fischl, Beidou, that either wants to use normal attacks or is completely off field so that Nahida can be onfield and use her normal attacks.
My suggestion is if your favorite character is a 4* character, don’t be afraid of building them. I love my Dori and Xinyan and I still use them. I even built my Barbra and Noelle when furina came out. Even character’s like amber can have some sort of utility in teams, so if they’re you’re favorite don’t feel afraid to invest into them.
Be wary of glittershop weapons. Early genshin there was a lot of hype for the blackcliff weapon series from the glittershop because of the crit damage substat on the weapons, but the problem with those weapons is that you could have spent that same starglitter on more wishes or copies of characters and usually it’s a stepping stone weapon before you get a 5* option. I think with the amount of free event weapons, fishing weapons, and f2p craftable options (especially with Fontaine), there’s no reason to go for blackcliff weapons.
The BP is sort of a scam for late game players. Early game 1-2 BPs is pretty good. You are getting extra resources which helps boost your start and there’s exclusive weapons tied to the BP, but you don’t really need these things late game. I think the welkin moon is just better value giving you direct wishing currency and going for an R5 weapon from BP is sort of wasteful. Me personally I don’t buy either of them anymore.
If you don’t enjoy a character, you don’t have to pull for them. This one is tricky because maybe you like a character for looks and story, but playing her in the demo you don’t like her play style. For me I don’t like hu Tao’s playstyle, but I got her at the time because of community reception to how strong she is for single target. But without c1 and her weapon, she does just as good as my yoimiya who’s at c0 with rust and is less technical. While I think I eventually want to get hu tao to c1 so I can at least do dodge cancel playstyle, she’s not high on my priority list and I’ll probably get her later if she comes to chronicle banner.
People say don’t pull on the weapon banner, but I think anytime there’s a jade cutter on that bitch you should pull for it. Also if jade cutter ever comes to chronicle banner that’s a must pull option. I may be biased since I play keqing / alhaitham and sword is my favorite weapon type plus if traveler ever gets a super goated kit for future elements (unlikely), he’s a sword user.
My C6 Lynette with Mistsplitter + desert pavilion 💪 DPS Lynette is so much fun to play and surprising people in co-op weekly bosses is fun with her. Currently building my physical Freminet just in time before Arlecchino releases 🐧✨
As a lvl 90 C0 Chongyun main I agree, Chongyun Melt is surprising fun seeing big no. From a 4 star.
"Build your favourite 4 stars" advice is only relevant for early game, not for endgame. Some 4 star characters just suck. Don't invest in them too much otherwise you will end up with a benched double crowned Razor like me.
I disagree with the BP value. For someone like me, who wants and build every character and never pull on weapon banner (weapon doesn't bring new gameplay, just more power) , BP weapon are still mostly the best weapon I have, and the mora and xp I get from BP is still very useful. Even though I'm a day 1 welkin/BP player.
I also hate switching weapon and artifact around as I like changing my teams often, so rebuilding them is tedious. So every character is ready to use : weapon and artifact equiped. Even Aloy and Amber! (though they are far from optimal)
I also 36 star abyss every time, even though all of my characters are 80+ with def, hp and em character at 85.
I feel so bad for having skipped zhongli since my favorite characters are neuvillette and wanderer 😢 so yeah get the best supports for the characters you love regardless of what other people tell you
i regret not pulling more after losing 50/50 on his banner. I didn't know then that Lyney would become my favorite.
If you have layla she is a very decent alternative to him for shielding.
Layla is an excellent alternative. I never have the need to pull for zhongli because of her. I also have all the characters you mentioned, including Yoimiya. Layla is their primary sheilder

I feel really bad for people playing overworld without Xianyun. I had two friends quit the game when they saw how I literally trivialize everything exploration wise.
They told me to do a day of exploration without her and I absolutely fucking hated it as well haha. I would have never gone for 100% completing every area without her.
I guess I am the mad lad for completing all areas without ever having a single such characters that helps in exploration. I am saving for C1 yelan and kazuha tho.

I am just saying, Xianyun's ability to traverse terrain is so far beyond anything you could normally do, it is really like playing a completely different game. Like Venti, Wanderer, Kazuha or general "speed" like Yelan (Xianyun can even traverse horizontally so much faster than her)... they are an absolute joke compared to Xianyun, that's how much she "powercreeps" explorations and speedy traversal.
I use Kaya, Sayu, lynette and Dehya/Rosaria to explore.
Honestly me with Furina LMAO I like walking/climbing in this game, but i can't stand swimming outside of fontaine. She doesn't leave my overworld party now

I would hate that ngl. Genshin is alrdy a too easy game and making it even less challenging, especially in the beginning, would be just too depressing for me personally. I also refuse to get my first 36 Star with neuvi. Its just cheap

@@HaxCalibourI get that for your personal feelings, but also would say that everybody has different skill levels and it’s not really worth making a new player feel guilty for grabbing a strong 5* to clear content. Genshin wasn’t something I considered super easy when I started out, and I’d want to honor that for new people too.
My tip for artifacts is to farm for the artifacts that aren't in the strongbox first like Deepwood, Marechausse and Golden Troupe. The pieces that you get that don't have the proper stats for your characters get turned into fodder for the strongbox artifacts like Severed Fate and Noblesse.
Immersion? No map? I fing dare you to complete all the aranara world quests without the map or a guide.

I know for sure my road to 100% completion wouldn't have been a smidgen of fun without the interactive map. Like I don't spoil myself the puzzle solutions etc., but I need the ticking off to know where I have even been, since there is no options for that ingame. Also finding EVERY aranara without map... that would have made me quit the game. Like that could have used some ingame tool to show a rough direction or tip.
But what if I already did? 😅 I’m on mobile. I hate trying to use an interactive map and it also just feels less fun to use one.
Or find that last oculi you missed... somewhere...
My tips is that unless you wanna try hard the floor 12 of the abyss, you dont need to 90 + crowns your units. Thats A LOT of ressources you could put into other units you like. Lvl 80 is more than enough for 99% of the game.
(PS: if you really wanna flex your fully maxed triple crowned main dont hold back, as mong as you are having fun 🤝)
True re: level 90 being low priority, but it _is_ often worth getting a character's final ascension even if you leave them at level 80.
Getting characters fully ascended and then not level 90 is fine. I ascended Bennett and then only went to 81 so I could easily tell he was.
It has taken me about 15 months with Welkin and BP to get two spiral abyss teams that I like and don’t mind using crowns on the characters. I think you need to be patient in this game

As someone who loves Kokomi, I built critkomi. I brought her to abyss in a mono hydro team with furina, kazuha, and xingqiu. The team is amazing and I had so much fun on fielding my critkomi.
These are some *really great* Tips!
I would just add some general sub-tips for farming artifacts, like locking Goblets with a *Dmg%* main stat - _even if they look subpar,_ and doing the same for any _good_ ATK/HP/DEF% Goblets, *ER%* Sands and *C.Rate / C.Dmg%* Circlets _which may turn out to be the off-piece that you need to close a build._ Also, if you are new to the game, there are some off-meta "main DPS / driver" characters that were given for free (e.g. Freminet, Lynette, Ga-Ming), which may "justify" farming their specific sets if you liked using 'em (4PC Pale Flame Freminet FTW), so have fun!

He might be best dps but his play style is pretty boring. I will probably bench him once I get to clear abyss without him.
@@SomeOneUnrestricted Yeah hes okay but like u said hes kind of boring and I went to hard pity TWICE to pull him amd that hasn't happened since like the VERY beginning of the game for me...I mean you almost NEVER get past 70 and it took me 90 TWICE to pull this dude when I didn't even really need him...IDK Ive always thought supports are whats important especially since I pulled Nahida day one but now damn its even MORE obvious...I just wished Id saved all those wishes now because C2 Furina seems NOICE...and now I just have enough for C1 unless I get incredibly Lucky...I guess because I had all the main DPS characters I had to go for Neuvilette too but damn even the banner sucked

@@scherpebocht Lol if youre bew your gonna waste primos...Ive been playing long enough to be smarter but the draw of having the absolute DPSNwas too much for me to resist and now Im low on primos unnecessarily...But yeah thats how they get you...Ive been mostly FTP and now I might have to top off at some point
My overworld team includes Gaming, Xianyun, Kazuha.
You get anemo resonance for move speed, gaming move speed, kazuha sprint stamina, and xianyun glide speed and stam
I do Welkin and the battle pass only when I hit level 50, and I enjoy the game fully as I close in my fourth year of play. I don't have to struggle too much nor do I find myself getting burned out from primo farming , but I am not so flush with Fates that I can just spend without consideration. I have to choose which characters I want to invest in, but those opportunities to choose come up more often than if I was purely F2P.
nice so tomorrow i will see the first competitve event about genshin, i started playin 1month and some time ago and your videos have helped me go smooth into the game
Also it's really important to do single wishes yes they may be painful to watch but they'll save you the pain of getting unnecessary constillations especially if you're only going for c0.

Yelan helped me a lot in exploration, especially in sumeru desert (before fontaine).

kinda sad that i lost in xianyun's banner but with the addition of furina, it feels a lot better now.
Sayu and Wanderer are SSS+ for exploration and artifact/chasm farming. They are both anemo, so you have 15% more stamina and 10% more speed. Lynette is also a cheap alternative for Yelan.

Personally, I prefer a guide, like kyostinv's, over the interactive map. That said, using any type of guide does tend to encourage you to not explore, as picking up most of whatever then leaves you running around checking spots where mostly nothing exists, to find the few you missed. Would be nice if the compass actually showed non-spawned chest points as well.
For the open world stuff, save 1 max refine version of each 3 star weapon as well. Some are quite useful to have, and while a good chunk will likely never have a use, well, they aren't worth that much weapon xp and, if they ever do have a use, you'll have a max refine one ready to go.
For team building, how many teams you need/want will depend upon how good your elemental application is for the teams. You can get by with just 2, if both teams are good at applying 3 elements each. And between the two teams, if you have four elements covered, you're pretty much set. The other 3 elements won't really matter. Like for me, I have been doing every Abyss with pyro/electro/dendro on one side, and electro/hydro/dendro, on the other, though recently that second team swapped dendro out for geo because I now use Navia and Chiori. Note that geo is kind of subpar, a "we have counter-element at home", so one of the better elements to skip, while Anemo is great for bashing various enemy shields into each other, but not so good if just facing one element. Sometimes, you do need specific elements, like for the Wolflord or dendro cube, but for those, you can generally get by with some random character like Ning/GMC or Yaoyao.
Oh, and one more addition: there is no such thing as "building pity". All you can do is risk the pity you already have. After you are done wishing, whatever pity you are at is a consolation prize. Keep this in mind and don't fool yourself. Use the term "risking pity" over the positive sounding but false "building pity".
And on a related note, if you purposely click on a banner that has a character and wind up getting that character, you did not accidentally get them. You chose to do an action that could result in getting them, and then that resulted in you getting them. No accident involved.
I would never use any interactive map if the game can show the non spawned chests and have an exact number on some place of all chests per region or subregion.

On overworld exploring especially in Chenyu Vale and Fontaine: Even if you have overpowered vertical mobility, try to see what the game leaves around for players who don’t have Wanderer Venti, etc.
If an oculus is up so high that the Geo main character can’t get to it with their skill, there may be another nearby puzzle that awards a chest.

1 thing I might add to the team building tips for newer players is it's nice to have some teams for farming materials.
Zhongli and any claymore users are good for farming crystal chunk.
Yaoyao and Sayu are good for farming crystalfly.
There're also character who can pinpoint the local materials for specific region.
What I wish I would have known as a guy who has 11hr workdays and plays very casually is to farm artifacts with condensed resin only to get it done in half the time
If i was ever going to give tips to a new player these would be the tips:
1) figure out how pity and grantee works.
2) figure out how elemental reactions work(including icd and gauge)
3) use genshin optimizer.(If you are above AR 45)
4) learn how support characters buffs work so you can use them more efficiently(including snapshoting and etc)
But if you aren't interested in that kind of stuff and only care about story/exploration then get characters that can help you explore easily. Use interactive map(some might prefer having a hard time though). And if you care about story part mostly, read some of the ingame books and dont skip the marked(blue) world quests.
Best tip for me is thinking of artifacts on the scale of weeks. Don’t expect to get good artifacts from any single run (160 energy) but instead farm for a week and see what you get. Patience is key. You will get good artifacts eventually. Maybe not perfect, but good for sure.

Tip on how to save if you have a pulling addiction: If you want to save for your favorite characters, don’t look at the wishing screen. If you want to know how much longer the phase has, use the character trial screen (I forget this all the time lol), or google (probably the best option). Also, ask yourself "am I REALLY gonna use them at all/for 1 or 2 patches then drop them and regret it? Do I like this element?" If the answer is no, don’t pull! This is how I save for my favorites, like Kazuha, Wrio, Lyney (although I’m kinda regretting Lyney now that he’s not in my top favorites, but he got me through multiple patches till 4.4 alongside Wrio, so at the same time I don’t regret lol). Also, TRIAL the characters first! I know some people who would pull, play with said character and end up not liking the play style.
Recently got Kazuha and tried getting his c1 but ended up losing 50/50 again, so decided to start saving for Alhaitham instead, then Furina, then possibly Yelan (if she’s not so soon after these two). Had 12k+ primos to spare and already have 17.3k and going to skip 4.6 c: I still need to finish up Fontaine exploration and do world quests, so I’ll probably have a lot more by 4.7 :D
@jelloimpact 6:31 From my personal experience (leveled 2 accounts, and one of them basically has every region at 100% complete) the best way to do this is the following:
Just go and explore, have fun, but once you collected an xxxx-culus, you mark it on your map. Once you have spended all 200 of your map markers, then just go to the interactive map and mark which you have, and remove them from your map. (Optionally you can add the ones you miss on your map too).
This is in my opinion the best way to do it, as you get to enjoy the game as it is supposed to be, but you wont ever get in the trouble of "oh i need to figure out where these last few occulus are" as you are still kind off tracking them.
My tip for ore hunting is use razor (or zhongli) to help crush multiple ores. (can also use ninguang to spot ores on your minimap)
Exploration: Sayu! Also, Ga ming can traverse walls easier with his skill, including unclimbable hilchurl towers if you don't have a bow character or a Kazuha in your party.
If you have just started Genshin, I would max the city reputation to the treasure compass and let quests make up the remaining reputation.

Sayu's E can last a lot longer than Yelan's (10s vs 3s), which can results in higher overall speed (even though she is sorter and doesn't regenerate stamina while spinning).
Ideally you would combine Sayu with Wanderer (who does regenerate stamina while in his E) for cliff scaling, flying over obstacles, filling out Sayu's E cool down, and for Anemo elemental resonance which further increases movement SPD by 10% (which does increase Sayu's rolling speed and distance, not just character running speed). If you dislike or don't have Wanderer then you can use some other anemo unit like Kazuha, Xianyun, Lynette... or rally any other unit.
[*] depending on terrain, distance.
For really short distances (that Yelan can cover in 3s) it doesn't matter.
It's mid distances where Sayu shines (think artifact farming distance, Sayu can reach most locations from a teleport waypoint with a single hold E).
For really long distances you might want a 3rd unit with some kind of movement ability to completely fill out Sayu's skill CD. (Or just use any 3 units with smooth rotation. But I like that I can pretty much just let go of the keyboard for 10 seconds while Sayu is rolling ahead. :)
Sayu, Wanderer, Yelan works as a trio, but you can also use Furina or Ayaka to travel across wast distances of water that Wanderer can't simply fly over... Use the right team for the job.
... or just give up on speed, switch to walking and enjoy the scenery of the terrain ;)
I have played since 1.1, and I always just use compass or the culus finders. Although for sumeru, I might have to use the map, getting like hundred+ mushrooms doesnt sound fun
Watching this reminded me that I hadn't gotten the Gnostic Hymn yet because I couldn't figure out which weapon I wanted.
Along with the turn of the month reset on Paimon's shop, I had 9 Fates just sitting there waiting to be used.
So I did it, I used a 10 pull on Kazuha's banner, thinking it would just be a "pity building" pull...
But no, I managed to get his C1 (I did already have his C0)...and I still have plenty of primos for Clorinde and Wriothesley in a couple of patches.
Now to start abusing the reset of his skill in my rotations.
As a Wanderer main with C0 Xianyun and C0 Yelan, I'd say Xianyun feels the best to use for exploration out of the three.
Yelan gets stuck on edges at the most unexpected times and Wanderer has issues with climbing slopes. Xianyun has none of these issues but I do admit her movement is a little hard to control and if you have motion sickness she can be overwhelming. Compared to her, Wanderer has really precise aerial movement.
I like that Xianyun also fills the healer role but the other two offer good range in combat so all three of them are excellent picks.
As an overall investment for the account, getting Yelan is probably the most valuable out of them because of her versatility. Second is Xianyun for teamwide healing and enabling plunges because it's really fun. Wanderer is pricy for being a hypercarry but the more you invest in him, the greater the payoff. He wants your dedication so getting him just for exploration and half-assing his build can make him feel underwhelming.
Oh, and don't forget Sayu! If you are lucky enough to have a Sayu she is the jack of all trades queen of exploration, filling many roles but excelling in none. She is really fast, she heals, she can mine (which the other three can't do), and picking up small animals and crystalflies at your pace as you go is such a good utility, especially if you have higher ping.
Thank you soooo much for mentioning overworld team building, and that it is different from the Abyss. Every guide sites focus on team builds are focused on the abyss, and for those who are not 100% at the only endgame content, a lot of those abyss teams are not as helpful for the overworld content that is soooo much of the game.
Tip: Don't rush 5-star characters. Seriously, in 80% case you only need one team, and for the spiral abyss there's still incredible team comps that are pretty cheap but still does insane damage. Your best option is to get 5-star weapons for your main team (of course it's not force, there's still great 4 star weapons that fit well) and some constellation (if you have the primos) and you clear 80% of the content in the game.
Kazuha also has 20% less stamina consumption for all party members, if he's in your team. It's so much more comfy and I would never again walk without him in the overworld. Razor's passive reads the same, but it's obviously only for Razor himself and not for all party members. I'm not sure about Kaeya, Heizou and Chevreuse, but since they're all 4 stars, I think it's only for themselves like Razor.
Um its only sprinting stamina and the 4* version also effects the whole team. It explicitly says the entire team
@@lolidemon3163 I know the text says the entire team, but you can test it by yourself with Razor, if you have him. The effect is only active if you use Razor and not anyone else of the team. With Kazuha on the other hand, the effect is really for the whole team.
@nello7466 i have both razor and kaeya. I feel the difference if i use razor or kaeaya. Now anemo resonance does stack with his passive. Reason i know that the 4* versions is team wide is bc i got the 20 sec stam thing bc of kaeaya's passive at the time and i wasn't using kaeya on the field. I would also know bc before i did any pulls i pretty much only used traveller, lisa, amber and kaeya and yes theres a difference if u use kaeya and not use him. Hard to miss considering i used that team for quite a while and instantly missed the passive
6:50 The interactive map shown here is a not officially one. Genshin actually has it's own official interactive map through hoyolab but it has its pros and cons.
Mainly the unofficial map, the comments are more fun (though sometimes it can be not safe 😂) and in some cases it's easier to locate the actual item you're looking for cause of the multiple comments present (though sometimes a lot of the comments can be completely useless and its just a bunch of memes). While in the official interactive map, it's 'less fun' and only one 'comment' exists often its enough, but sometimes its too vague and you kinda need multiple perspective to pinpoint the exact location.

This is why you're one of my favorite Genshin TH-camr because your tips & guide are straight to the point and helpful, people should be more courageous to share tips based on objectivity & facts first.
"Pull whoever you like" is fine in itself but it's not helpful tips because people are seeking tips & advices for guidance, old players should stop manipulated newbies with beautiful empty words even if it's supposedly for 'something good' like protecting their feeling & confidence.
Some characters are just generally good for all accounts & every players like [Furina, Nahida, Kazuha, Yelan, Xianyun, Zhongli, Baizhu, etc] then you can pull for main DPS that suits your playstyles, because all main DPS should be fine with good support and remember 2~3 main DPS characters are enough for new players.
So it's better to make a pulling plan in advance for your favorite characters + generalist support, also it's better to wait for rerun of new characters unless they're good generalist support, because my friends often regretted their pulling decisions due to carelessly pulling for every shiny new characters, personally I think constellations are better than new characters if it's for your favorite characters.
Tip: If you love the game but are a completionist and run out of content (like me), make another account. Preferably a challenge one, like catalysts-only. You have to approach the game in an entirely new way, getting to experience it differently. I will say though, by the 4th play through of the archon quest it does start dragging out a bit due to the dialogue. But stuff like the inazuma archery challenge part of the quest is definitely fun to figure out how to do it without the "right" characters.
My tip is, don't rush. You don't need to comeplete the story in one day or reach Ar 60. Level/Play at your own pace so you don't get burned out to fast.

Tip#2 get Furina, and if possible, her C2, you will not regret it!
Between these two, there’s no reason you shouldn’t be able to EASILY 36 star the abyss every single time!
Yeah, Welkin Really removes a lot of pressure to accumulate primogems and It's relatively cheap. But you need a basic understanding of the wishing systems and follow banner speculation to make a good choice. It literally reduces 70% my playtime
My tip- Don't build pity unless you are okay with getting the 5 star accidentally or the 4 stars is really good. Eg i would never build pity on cyno banner but i will definitely try to get some 4 stars in navia banner because i don't mind getting her accidentally

I think venti is a lot better than kazuha for overworld, his suction feels more impactful and his anemo current is easier to control for moving around/verticality
I think investing in your favorite characters is more fun because you can only use 4 characters in a team. maybe 2 teams for abyss and a third party for elemental check having to many characters can be fun but bulding all could take a while so investing in you favorite character is good. And not using the five star you spend so many wishes to feels bad.
Sayu is my number 1 exploration character for me.

I like Kazuha + Sayu for overworld. Since I didn't get Xianyun. Comparable to Yelan and works well with Furina, so I get speed, grouping, and walk on water/100 DMG uptime.
As for Yelan, it really depends. Got her just so that I could play Yoimiya and Hu Tao, but end up not using her because GanYu and Liney exist. And I enjoy playing them much more. People don't realize how hard this "you have to use normal attacks" nerf is. The only characters who can overcome this are those with elemental infusion on their NA.
Wanderer is better for anything flight related obviously but he can also cross massive distances in flight mode if you don't go full speed, also for scaling mountains I would say he is much better.
Overall in terms of exploration Wanderer is by far the best character.
Hard to disagree with anything said. I would really highlight the point Jello made 11:00 - the Chenyu Vale boss gets ruined by a freeze team. I tried so many teams against it before I realized that freeze (preferable Ayaka, Ganyu, or Rosaria) just stomps that boss.

I know it's logical to prioritize 5* but my favorites are 4* so it's an advice I have to ignore 😂 I'm careful with my wishes and it's enough to be able to get the constellations I want, or use them at c0 while I wait for them to rerun (Heizou, Layla, come back plz). Obviously this last point depend on the 4*, some are way less usable at c0 than others !
In regards to constellations.... it might be worth a thought avoiding some constellations if they are too strong or change the feel of the character too much

100%, this is one of the main reasons i refuse to pull constellations. I want variety, so more characters than i need actually suits that playstyle, and vertically investing in any one character just leads to them being very boring because they're too strong and the combat isn't intense enough to compensate for it
I avoided C2 Furina and C2 Nahida because I saw in Abyss clears how that C2 basically ignores a game mechanic. I use C2 Yelan a lot though, since that enables some teams like full hyperbloom hydro application and light grouping without an Anemo unit. It’s all preference.
Of course I totally get it if people enjoy overpowered characters. Some people have power fantasy, others prefer something else in the game like lore or teapot and want a character to just delete the combat. etc.
This is why I refuse to go for 5 star constellations til they make it toggle-able.

biggest tip: the game is super easy so don't get caught up in meta if that's not how you like to play (coming from a melt ganyu enjoyer)
considering it takes 29000 primogems for a 5 star character and you need 8 of them, its not possible to get constellations as a f2p cause that would be 230k primogems (without constellations), plus you wanna get 2 signiture weapons for your main DPS too.
So that would already take 4000 days which is 11 years (not counting the one time primos cause lets say those go for the signutre weapons for your 2 dps characters)
That's why i wouldnt recommend going for constellations, cause the game will probably not even be supported by the time you get your two teams done
It's a great point but I've been struggling with the notion of pulling supports for your favs even if you don't like the supports. Limited resources as ftp, don't wanna waste it on units I just don't care about.

6:55 I hate being immersion-broken as well, but I'm also a completionist, so I started marking every chest I find on Genshin's map and, once I'm feeling satisfied (or out of pins 🥲) I start unmarking everything from the map and then I use it to look for the last ones.
The bad side is that sometimes I forget what I've actually found, but it's happening less often now that I kinda shape-code everything with the pins.

I created a new account 1 week b4 kazuha banner. I got kazuha around ar 20...man kuzaha is AWESOME for early game , i didnt get Xingqui until ar 37 . On my main account i didn't get kazuha until a year and a half in
