Hi Sadie, maybe put Chester in first and scout second then scout can’t kick at him. Just a thought. I have learned that raspberry leaves can calm him, it doesn’t drug him it’s all natural 100% ground raspberry leaves, u can give it before u haul him and everyday, but especially the day u are hauling him. It’s not expensive and u can order it on line. Good luck

If you have a three horse trailer, if that's what you're using, put scout all the way on one side and then leave one partition blank and then put Chester on the last one so that they're not near each other. They have a space between each other that should help. I had a horse that didn't like any horses next to it and she would kick so that's what I did and it worked out great. I hope that is useful.

You do an awesome job no matter who you ride! You are an inspiration to young girls and young ladies everywhere, keep up the good work! Scout looks like he's trying to tell you something starting with saddling, he had his back up and this is usually (but not always) either a belly ache or back soreness, could even be a piece of hay in the underside of your saddle pad. 😜 Had a horse act like a saddle bronc instead of a pleasure horse ONE time, I'm a fast learner!

Have you ever tried poulticing their legs after running ? I always do it for mine and it helps so much with soreness !
