I woar a helmet and it saved my life. My horse crashed it's hoves as it came down from rear up in a hidden bobwire fence and I fell off under her and she came down on My head. It was a bicycle helmet and it was was crushed as I got seven stitches in my head. So do care what other people say, you know the trainer John Lyons also had a accident with a young horse going over backwards he didn't have a helmet as he was really messed up . He would of not been so messed up if he was wearing a helmet at the time. The saying I think of when people made fun of me. Every time, every ride, Not worth breaking your head against a stone wall. So stay safe why riding I made it my number one rule let others say what they want. You might have the jenttalest horse out there but things happen. but I think they should make it a rule at all Barns.
Now I know what they mean by "horse feathers ".😁
