Personally I ride both and posting even in western isn’t weird I mean you have posting trots in western horsemanship patterns. If the horses trot isn’t so much smooth, posting will do the trick.
I'm western and I swear that last one for it is me all the way 😂 Sometimes people say I trust my girl a little too much because like, I will go into the weirdest positions on her just to relax the both of us for a bit, she'll start walking off sometimes but she's always nice and slow.
Actually as a western rider, I don’t sit in my saddle during a trot, lope, or gallop because it irritates the horse so I just get my weight off his back! But I laughed at the break because I do that at horse shows all the time! 🤣🤣 Love your vids 🤍

I'm the one that puts the wrong foot on the stirrups and end up not figuring out how I did that and sit on the horse backwards and have to turn around and try not to fall off as my cousins are laughing at me😭💀

Here’s a tip when canter and galloping: so when your canter move with the horse like the same move like what they are doing and when your galloping sit like sit up straight bc when your straight when get more control if your not straight the horse starts to run then u have no control so I would move with the horse and when your trotting bounce with the horse then u get the rhythm thats how u get good at riding and so when your trotting just bounce with the horse and let your reins kinda up there neck to the don’t fight your reins and when your canter let your reins down it’s kinda like go wing them there head cuz if u don’t they are gonna fight u so let your reins down and bounce with bubba and when your galloping sit up straight and if u don’t know how to get straight scoot your butt back when it’s touching the back your straight That’s was some tips anyways have a good day😊

I’m seeing a lot of English people saying they are like the western rider but ride English well my response is no duh because as an English rider none of us act like the English rider in the video. We all act the same wether it be English or western 😂

For the English rider resting - I normally loosen the reins fully but keep one hand on them just in case, but I also take my feet out of my stirrups. Gorgeous horse btw!

The video was awesome and it showed the differences between the different writing styles but one thing I would like to point out is that the gallop is different than the canter and as someone who rides Western we usually call it a lope
I watch you everyday so I can ask my dad if I can take horse riding lessons I've always wanted to ride a horse and own one you make my day feel so special seeing you on a horse just makes me happy although I'm an English girl I'll do my best to act like a western one,
