@@trevorgibbs9357 welfare make our people dependent and not independent. You can't become self sustaining member of society if you're depending on welfare for your daily needs in society. Some women have no problem being on child support and food stamps nowadays cause their is no man to help her provide for their child. Our Men sometimes aren't being financial stable enough which why some struggle to get where they want to be at in their life. Why should our women settle for a black man who isn't financially stable enough to provide for her? No black man should ever be happy going 50/50 with his woman. You build your life up first, so that way all he gotta do is invite her into his life to nurture him.
I grew up learning the difference between having a job and career. Anyone can do a job. It takes skill and knowledge to actually do a career. And some Black men settle for jobs and wonder why they're still working till their 60s instead having their own by then or living off their retirement money. Black families home started really breaking down in and after 70s. Before that blacks were working and building together. Malcolm X autobiography is a perfect example how they breakdown black family homes here in the USA. They remove the father leaving the woman without a provider and protector, so they offer his mom government and state assistance to help her and the children, she said no and did what she could by herself. She had a mental breakdown from all the stress so the state took Malcolm and his siblings. Divide and conquer at it's finest...

This didn't happen because she passed away. So...there is that. There's a lot of negative and derogatory commentary about this interview with zero context nor history. While I'm being accused of talking too much, some of you are exhibiting the very anti-black behavior you supposedly rail against.

Welsing: racism is the fear to be genetic annihilated.
Me: I am worried that some species in the nature are annihilated. I am also worried that some cultures in some countries also will disappear.
    Is that bad?
I prefer that dark hair, blond hair, red hair, brown hair etc won't disappear. Am I a bad person?
Fear for something unique, that make the world colorful, might disappear is not something bad. It's called APPRECIATION.
Why trying to preserve everything in the nature and culture is good but preserving human race is not good?
The color/ race itself is not the problem. The problem begins when one starts to say: my color is betters than yours.
The solution is simple: we have to think that all color is beautiful and we need to APPRECIATE it just like we appreciate the colorful flora and fauna.
    Conclusion :
Appreciating and preserving beautiful things is good.
Btw, my skin color is dark. I like my color and I like the color of my neighbor who is white.

One of the most powerful minds of the 20th and 21st centuries. I watched her on vhs in college, read the Isis papers and hve gone to see her speak live. She has passed the keys onto those of us that were willing to learn.

I found her yesterday, and its sad bc I'm 49 and she is gone. Rih. I'm here after the riots, scouring the web for Dr. Cress Welsing.

ISIS is the Greek name for the Gooddess. Her true Egyptian name is actually Iset, Aset, or Auset. But I get the message it's very true.

    • @uppercutshurt5199
      @uppercutshurt5199 4 ปีที่แล้ว +14

You exactly right but just to nit pick Auset is her African name not Egyptian name since Africans never called it Egypt, the Greeks did. Just like Isis is a Greek name, Egypt is Greek name. Kemet (Kimit, Kmt) would be a more appropriate name for that nation. Peace and Black Power sis.

I cried when they named a terrorist organization Isis. Isis is a Goddess of remembrance, the opposite of dismemberment. The irony is too rich to be accidental. Here is my piece on it: Isis - Goddess or Terrorist? www.jentaylor.org/isis-goddess-or-terrorist/

I wish that Ms. Hunter would have studied Dr. Wesling’s legacy and work prior to interviewing such a great icon. It would have added much more depth to this interview.
