That post storm wrack line is incredible! So many awesome finds, it's always so cool to get to look through the beach after storms. Thank you so much for sharing!
The sea gave up so many shells - thank you for braving the weather to collect a few and produce a lovely video for us. The purple sea glass probably started out as clear sea glass. I love the sea foam colour and the big chunks. Thank you again. :)
Awesome video! I was screaming don't miss that sea glass 🎉🎉 beautiful Jasper to go along with the wonderful shells. I've never seen a Neptune so that was awesome! Thanks we are in Maine and enjoy you videos. The other night we watched your Turks and Cacous and a couple days ago made contact on ham radio there!. Oh beautiful stopper too. Thanks 🎉
Hi Brian....Hope you had a Merry Christmas and a good New Year. Great to see you out and about sharing your treasures with us . Always looking forward to your posts. Thanks again.
In all the shelling videos I have watched I have never saw a red one. This is one of your great videos. I love all your videos. When you get excited it really makes your videos great. I get excited for you. Happy New Year Brian may this year be even better than last year.
Neptunes are my favorite and yes, it looked really cold...they are so unusual in appearance! But the way you were bundled up reminded me of that kid from the movie: "Christmas Story"...lol! HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Hi there! There are two shells at the 7:40 mark - the shell on the left is actually a fossil Buccinum species(I think possibly Buccinum glaciale, though I am not 100% certain). These fossils come from ancient marine sediment deposits located along the Maine coast know as the Presumpscot Formation. Bucciunm glaciale still live today, but only in the colder Arctic regions, ...no longer along the Maine coast. The shell on the right is a white/chocolate striped Dog Whelk shell(Nucella lapillus). These small gastropods are very common along the Maine coast, and come in all sorts of similar colors and patterns! Thanks for watching!
