Just Beautiful ! Frame-worthy shots of the driftwood and sand with the greenery in the background. Can't wait to see Part 2 !! Thanks for sharing this shelling trip !!
Oh, I'm SOOOOO jealous!!! I've been on the left coast all year so I haven't gotten to shell much and this looks so epic!! And that J!!! Who cares that it isn't whole, it's a J!!!
Oh my gosh Brian! This video was amazing! And I thought Kice was the bomb! I have got to visit this place next time down. I can't imagine camping overnight somewhere like that. I only go once a year so I would probably take tons of batteries for my flashlight and never go to sleep just shell day and night. Awesome!! Love the way you catch nature's beauty on film so well. Have to watch this one over and over. I'm so jelly!!!
Wow!The pictures were beautiful. The sound of the ocean was so clear. My favorite she’ll is the true tulip. We were just at Sanibel but it was slim pickings.Sanibel is still sad.Still working on the causeway and on both sides of the road before you get to the tollbooth.Thx for the video!Just gorgeous shells.A plus for you camping out😉
WOW! Unbelievable shelling! This is like watching a dream come to life. You are so lucky to be able to go shelling like this. Beautiful video, can't wait for part 2!
Just got back from SWFL yesterday and this video was waiting for me. The shelling was surreal! So happy you had the chance to shell under these amazing conditions.
Oh goodness this just makes my heart and soul sing!!! What an experience! Can’t wait to watch again and to watch part 2! I’ve never seen cape Romano, so it’s a bummer your initial plans fell through, but how often does that end up being a good thing, right? So cool to experience a new place. Thank you always!
Oh wow! What a beautiful place! Thank you for taking us with you! That Junonia has the perfect spot to be hung on a wall, lol! Have a beautiful week wherever you are!
You have gone to shell heaven.. holding my breath to see what treasure is next huge pristine shells ever!!!! Cannot wait for part 2 bring a bigger bag!!!!
What a beautiful island and those shells....my gosh. I think I would almost be paralyzed.....just taking it all in, not knowing which direction to take. But my lord....what a blast it would be!
Oh my goodness, those alphabet cones, trues and all those piles of shells !I have been to Dickmans and Kice and now I want to go there !! Cant wait to see part 2 !
I usually do quite a bit of walking/hiking on these shell adventures, so it would be a lot harder for me to carry additional full bags of shells, haha! Thanks for watching!
Amazing shells! It's crazy how many there are in that area. I wonder if Sanibel used to look like this (shell wise) way before anyone ever stepped foot there. Even if broken that Junonia is an awesome find, that's awesome to see it just laying out there in the open. It definitely pays to have the island to yourself. I can't wait to see what you found in part 2!
I have also always wondered this... I am sure before tourist traffic, and industrialization of the area, Sanibel was pristine and maybe looked something like Cayo Costa or Keewaydin. As far as shells go though, it seems though that there are quite a few sub - species, and endemic variations that are rather unique to the 10k islands region. Thanks so much for watching, shell friend! 💙
OMG, Gorgeous sea shells. Such colors. I can't wait to see part 2. I have one complaint your videos are too short. If I was there I'd have brought trash bags!! Thank you so much.
I always try to make my videos as long as possible, but always feel quality is better than quantity! With that said, I think this is one of the longest videos I have ever uploaded, lol! Thanks for watching! 💙
HEY GUYS.....OMG....FREAKIN AMAZING!!! OUTRAGEOUSLY GORGEOUS SLAND !! CANT WAIT TO SEE YOUR TREASURES....GO Totally EPIC....soooo jealous! Thanks for sharing this fabulous journey. See you in the next one.
When you went to grab that Junonia my eyes just about popped out of my head! The tulips were stunning, as well as, the fighting conchs. The horse conch was beautiful. This is my trip of a lifetime! I enjoyed every second. You need a bigger shell bag lol 😆
I will be going on a 4 hr shelling tour to Keeywaden Island a week from next Monday....I am so excited to go there. I hope I can find some beautiful shells like you found on Cape Romano Island....perhaps my next stop should be there :) Thanks for sharing your finds....E in Georgia.
Stunning ..Just STUNNING..! 🐚Then you have the night camping on the beach ⛺️🔥✨🌙.. What more do you need in life...? I’m satisfied…Thank you Brian….!🤗❤️
Love this! I've never been to that part in the 10K's...awesome! There is a place on Kice you can still camp at (not the north or south end) but it's a killer with bugs so the winter is ideal there. Just beautiful as always and those alphabet cones were amazing to say the least!! Ahhhhhh almost a whole J! I missed a J cob right in front of me last month on Kice! Happy shelling always 🐚
Watched this video the other day when you put it out, but my computer was on the 'fritz' and in the shop so am commenting now...really love the overabundance of shells and am still half guessing the name of the different types of shells...and we had to evacuate the coast here in SoOregon because of the 7.0 earthquake out at sea...the Tsunami sirens went off as did the warning alarms on our cells...time to head for high ground and our harbour was evacuated! The "all clear" was sounded 2 hours later and, yes, I did have a house to come home to...although we're up on a cliff, you never know....
Hi shell friend! I hope you are all ok from the aftermath of the earthquake! Living up on a cliff overlooking the beautiful sea sounds like an absolutely amazing place! 💙 Thanks as always for coming along, in 4K!
Brian, I found three shell bags in pastel colors on eBay. Super reasonable. That is exactly what you need because your bag is way too small. And I would sit in one of those piles with a sieve. It is in my beach bag!😊
I generally do quite a bit of walking/hiking on these shell adventures so it would be difficult for me to carry additional bags full of shells, lol! Thanks for watching!
Amazing you can find a decent size island with no one else there in Florida lately. Seems any beaches or islands always have bunch of people on beach making it tough to check shorelines. The islands gone to always bunch of other boats or jet skis with people partying leaving cans and loud noise giving you zero peace to enjoy amazing beaches & islands. Unfortunately there are going to be less and less areas like this with the insane amount of people moving down here and overdevelopment . Glad you found peaceful place for shelling but also enjoy nature .
Hi friend! There are still quite a few unspoiled beach/nature areas in Florida! Before making a trip like this one, I always try to do a little research ahead of time, so I can figure out the places others don't go, don't go to often, or that may require a little more effort/planning to get to 😎 I'll also say, that even the busiest of beaches have their quiet times(very early mornings usually) - if I am shelling in these places, I try to take advantage of those opportunities as well. Thanks so much for watching! 💙
I usually do quite a bit of walking/hiking on these shell adventures, so it would be hard to me to carry a large bucket, let alone one full of shells, haha! Thanks for watching!
Wonderful finds! Shell after shell after shell.😊 Looks like you found a Sozon's cone in your first day video. Also, one of your shells you found in your second video identified as a Florida cone looks like a Conus Regius, or a Conus Rosemaryae. What do you think?
Hello! I recently found a Sozon's Cone in Jupiter, but that was the first one I have ever found one of those. Florida Cones can be tricky because they come in many different colors, and patterning, and to complicate things further, I also think there are actually a couple sub-species. In Florida, Conus Regius are almost exclusively only found in the south-east area of the state, or the Keys. I have found many of these in the Caribbean, and they are beautiful! Thanks for watching!
I noticed they had that same muted color too. Most of those shells look like they've been there a while. Bleached, pitted and rough. I would think that area would have had many more vibrant fresh shells. Hmmm. Interesting. Would still be an amazing time to hunt all day.
Many of the shells(but not all) at the southern end of the island were that muted color. Shells more toward the northern end of the island possessed normal colorations. I am not sure why this is, but it is certainly interesting! Thanks for watching!
I can’t tell you how many times my heart started racing! Unbelievable adventure with beauty everywhere! What a treat! Can’t wait for part two of this shelling adventure! Thank you!
Hi friend, this was only rocks and other debris caught in the shell. I always initially check for buddies when picking up shells, and then check again when I finish shelling just to make sure no one was hiding well in their shells. With all of that said, I only ever collect empty shells. If a shell does have an inhabitant, I will often film this as a feature and show the channel, so everyone can enjoy observing the live creature. Thanks so much for watching! 💙
In Brazil, it is an environmental crime to collect shells, after I found out I stopped taking them from the beach. So, I'm addicted to watching it, because I loved collecting, childhood robbie.
This is interesting! I’ve read about this law before, but I always understood it to focus primarily on environmental crimes, specifically prohibiting the commercialization of shells and coral. As far as I knew, recreational collection wasn’t considered illegal. Thanks so much for watching!
Hi friend! I always try not to collect more than I really want. I got TONS of great goodies that I love on this trip as you can see from this episode, and in Part 2, which will be coming soon! Thanks so much for watching! 💙
I'm pretty careful with the amount of shells that I collect and take home these days. I more or less just enjoy the moment of being in the wild outdoors, and filming everything to share later on - I find much enjoyment in the process! Thanks for watching!
@solaceinshelling6552 your right if I could I'd do that also but I'm disable now, so I can't do the two mile beach walks anymore. I still love to shell but I have to sit and do it, and it's not easy from TN. Lol

Oh my gosh Brian! This video was amazing! And I thought Kice was the bomb! I have got to visit this place next time down. I can't imagine camping overnight somewhere like that. You needed a five gallon bucket. Who doesn’t love an awesome shelling day?
I usually do quite a bit of walking/hiking on these shell adventures, so it would be hard to me to carry a large bucket, let alone one full of shells, haha!
Thanks for watching!
Pięknie egzotycznie - 🤩🤩pozdrawiam z Polski
Dzięki za obejrzenie!
Awesome what a honey pot😊
Thanks for watching!
When on a big shell pile move them around gently. I found my Junonias that way
This is a great tip!

The muted tan color is amazing. I wonder why that color??
I am not sure why shells were muted at the southern end of the Cape... I will try to find out, though!
Thanks for watching!
Wish I could collect on a beach somewhere
Thank you for watching! 💙
So you just walk and when you see something that absolutely breaks your ❤️ you pick it up😊😊😊!
Absolutely! Thanks for watching!
I can’t tell you how many times my heart started racing! Unbelievable adventure with beauty everywhere! What a treat! Can’t wait for part two of this shelling adventure! Thank you!
I truly appreciate your viewership! Part 2 will also be 🔥!
Thanks for watching!
Im pretty sure that nutmeg you picked up at 18:40 min had a hermit crab inside. 🦀 I'm sure you decided not to keep that one. 😊
Hi friend, this was only rocks and other debris caught in the shell. I always initially check for buddies when picking up shells, and then check again when I finish shelling just to make sure no one was hiding well in their shells. With all of that said, I only ever collect empty shells.

You never bring extra bags. When going to one of the 10 k you have 3 or 4 big bags
Hi friend! I always try not to collect more than I really want. I got TONS of great goodies that I love on this trip as you can see from this episode, and in Part 2, which will be coming soon!
Thanks so much for watching! 💙
❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks for watching!
How do you know what you want with all those shells? I'd sit my butt down and just get shelling😂
Lol
Lasciate l'audio originale, che è molto meglio.😂Almeno miglioriamo la conoscenza dell'inglese.
