LOVED your opinion of the gel highlighters! I agree; they’re basically crayons! I use the brand Alohaster highlighters for my Bible highlighting and they don’t bleed through and they come in different sets to fit your aesthetic.

My favorite bible verse is Hebrews 11:1, and I’m praying for my 13yr old daughter(Addison) to have an amazing high school experience; she starts this fall. I’m praying for her mental health, as she’s struggled with depression and anxiety for years! She needs strength and confidence in herself, and self love in order to be a light to others that need to be built up too. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼💝💝💝💝💝

Ohhhh friend this was the confirmation that I do need to do my prayer Bible. Because I totally abandoned my prayer closet it just does not work for me in this season. I did not know they had this cute little items at Hobby Lobby that would work for this. Plus I could reuse my pew Bible- this was my old primary Bible. ❤❤❤
Oh my gosh, i love that re: using your pew bible. It's a great way to make use of it. If mine wasn't falling a part, that would've been a great idea for me too because oh how I love that thang and don't want to see it go. You also get to keep all of your sermon notes that way. Soooooo good! And yes yes yes, do the Bible. I love that for you. I need my prayer closet ASAP...i mean I have it but want to decorate it. Sigh. Priorities. Matthew 6:33...I digress. Lol. The ability to pray (intersection) is a spiritual gift. I don't have that gift. My prayers are more of me just talking to God by directing my thoughts twords Him

Sis, my goodness. I'm so very sorry ONCE AGAIN for the delayed response. I cut a page protector and then used washi tape to seal the edges. So there's washing tape on 3 sides of my pocket ( 2 sides would otherwise be holes/openings where papers would side out. The other side is where I taped the pocket into the bible). Friiiiiiend, you're the absolute sweetest for sure. Oh em gee oh em gee. I have all of the ideas for activities and games around Christian girl hang outs, fellowship, and discipleship. 🤔I'm thinking through the most efficient way for me to share some ideas that come to mind. In the interim, here are a few:
(1) We always start Bible study with "Praise Reports & Prayer Requests" like highs and lows. (2) If in person, have a deck of playing cards and allow the women to pull one. If they pull a heart, have them to share about their favorite attribute of God . A club- an encounter they've had with God. A diamond- something they're praying for . A spade, a prayer request they have for someone else. Clearly you can change what each card represents (3) I've had tissue paper at the door upon arrival and instructed the women to take as many squares as they felt led to take. Later in the evening, the women were told to share something they were thankful for for each of they squares they had.
I’m going to have to watch this again so I can really see how to make this Prayer Bible. I absolutely LOVE it.

Hello, just found your video. Since discovering the “prayer Bible concept”, I’ve created three. Two for me (one for home and one to carry) and one for my niece and I helped another niece create her own. I’ve picked up another Bible to start one for a friend and schoolmate. I have quite a few favorite scriptures. I’ll just mention the top three, but I have at least ten. One of my favorite things to say in certain situation is “timing is everything”. The scriptures that I tie to that is Ecclesiastes 3:1-8, To everything there is a season… My other favorite is for strength and restoration from Isaiah 40:31, But those who wait on the Lord… and the last one Jeremiah 29:11, For I know the plans…for hope. Yes, He will! And see I was just thinking that I had too many…or actually I think the issue is that I have too many categories 🤔. My girls and I are making prayer bibles today. I’m going to share it on the channel next week. I’ve learned a couple of things to help simplify it

Carolyn, thanks a million for the question. I'm still grateful that I did it. It provides structure when i find myself stuck or without the words to cover my loved ones. What I've enjoyed most is being able to reflect back on old prayers. It's been a sweet time with God. On the contrary, I don't use it as often as I had imagined. Although I'm not sure I had a plan before going in-- like would i use it daily or as needed? Right now it's on an as needed basis. I think i'll do an update video soon. Thanks for the idea! I'm so glad i found this. I was wondering how the she reads truth bible would hold up if i started washi taping paper in it. Im one of those who has a hard time writing in my bible and needing it to be clean and not messy lol i have a rose gold Imitation leather she reads truth and i have been getting this pulling feeling like god just wants me to get into it and just tare it up! Not like tare it up but like high lights everywhere and writing everywhere and notes and prayers taped in. I feel like hes wanting me to do it! Do you think it would be possible to tab the books of the bible on the side and do prayer bible tabs on top? I love bible tabs for all the books lol

Siiiis. (1) I'm so sorry for the delayed response. (2) Thank yo so much for sharing these. I had to look them both up, and was blessed. Isaiah is the book God gave me to study for this year. I'm no where near chapter 64, but I'm not going to skip ahead to meditate on all of 64 because verse 8 really resonated with me. Glory to God!

That’s a great question! The most simple way I can explain it in a comment is to repeat the words. Keep reading them out loud …but this is a great video topic that I’m happy to do record. That way, you’ll see different ways to do it.
