I have an A4 ring binder with A-Z dividers in it. ‘A’ stands for Anger; ‘B’ stands for Brave; ‘C’ stands for Courage etc (choose your own words). Then as I read my bible if I come across a passage that applies to one of my chosen words I copy it out, add pictures, paint etc and can easily find it when I need to pray for someone or about something particular.

WARNING: Prayer Bible is excellent idea . Watch a few videos for inspiration then decide what method the Lord & the Holy Spirit wants you to use. You' ll feel excited and overwhelmed until you get your themes & codes worked out. Do rough drafts on paper, experiment with tabs, flags ,, & stickers to see what works best for You! Jot down new scriptures & thoughts from the Lord that fit your themes, codes so you can add them later. Set a schedule & time to work on this project free from distractions! I prayed for my daughters future spouses since they were babies, today they both have Christian husbands. It was very important for me for them to have a wonderful Christian husband. This day and age they need a Godly man in there lives.

Like many others, I only discovered this brilliant idea a week ago but much prefer how you keep the category tabs at the same spot on each page so that the colours line up. It's just more relaxing for my brain. Thank you so much for sharing.

Yes. This is also what I did after I watched her video. I didn't like how "caotic" it was with the tabs all over the place.

I love the way you’ve set up your Bible. I started working on mine slowly over the past week, but found myself dismayed at how the different color tabs were everywhere. I just bought a new bible and tabed it also. I'm going to buy another bible but smaller and just use it for my prayer bible and the new as my study.
I actually like that money and trouble are together bc if we aren't wise stewards of it (money) we will get into trouble where your treasure is so is heart ♥️🙌🏻🙏🏼

I am also so excited!! I was kinda stunned at the beauty of the Sister Rita prayer Bible set up & I’ve been working on it since I saw it almost a week ago. The only thing I wanted to add but couldn’t logic out was the extra prayer journal parts that you added. I have ADHD also & it’s very frustrating sometimes when I think I’m smart enough to figure things out but I can’t 😂. Be patient with the process and yes it’s okay to be thoughtful about your verse categories etc…it needs to be functional and stand the rest of time so that makes sense🤩🤣…. Hindsight 20/20 I wish I would’ve been more patient with that part hence my word of caution in the video:) it is sooo rewarding once you start!! I already started making one after seeing Sisterita’s video a couple of weeks ago. But I really like the idea of having the stickers/categories lined. Note to self for next time. I used washi tape so no turning back now.

Almost passed this by since there are so many grabbing onto the S.C. video, not always giving her the credit! But so glad I watched.
Tho I am making some of her style for Christmas gifts, for myself I had the same needs as you’ve covered here! As well as the concern about the expense, when as a crafter, I have so many supplies already. I was really hung up on the tabs, but you’ve relaxed me about that!
I think for mine, I will do a basic, & then add as God brings the prayer needs & verses to me thro the next year.

Thank you for sharing that you are struggling with prayer, so am I. I saw the video of the sisterita prayer bibles. I’m going to start mine tomorrow but I’m going to include pockets where I’ll put small cards with the name and prayer needed for that person. I cannot remember whom I got that idea from. I looked for the video but couldn’t find it.
I will use the Bible for marking the different categories that will have concordances for that special need and also write it in the journal.

Your Bible is so precious, and so are you. I crocheted covers for several of my Bibles, and if you crochet, this creates a warm❤, cuddly Bible that is hard to put down. There are a lot of really good crochet ideas on you tube, I just watched a few, and then designed my own. Really great idea to put all the color tabs in like colirs, I will definitely use that. I like the way you set up your Bible.
I also try to keep (admittedly, it’s sparatic) a graffitied journal. That’s where I put my answers to prayer.

Re: your attempt at gratitude writing, 3yrs.ago I got a ‘Five Year Gratitude Journal’. Each page has a few lines to answer the ? “Today I’m Grateful For…”
Under those lines are next year’s lines (for the same date & ?), & so on for the 5 years!
It is hard for me to have so little space to write. But now, almost thro my 3rd year, I can read what I wrote on the 2 years just above, & realize all that was going on back then. And all that God has done in the past year(s). It will be a wonderful keepsake. Even tho I still get behind in my thanks! 😳😂🤗

I find the easiest (& often the ONLY way) to feel God’s presence is to be steadily in the Word. God is ALWAYS w/ us. It’s us that move away. Another exciting reason to make (& use) this prayer Bible, right?

The hardest times sometimes seem to be when we go the farthest from the Lord. But over time, we see He never left us…& in our wandering, as long as we cont. to ‘want’ Him, we end up even closer to God. I hope you’re experiencing a ‘new’ closeness to the One who loves you the most. 🥰🙏

I am an intercessor. I have also been struggling in my prayers. The Rita sisters popped up and I have been watching as many prayer journal videos as I can to find what I think will be best for me to use. I like how you lined up all the categories. It looks much easier to use. Do you mind if I share this with the intorcessors group at my Church? Also, I like the way you put the category index in the front. I am curious as to why you say you may change it. Please share if you decide to change it and tell us how and why.

Sisterita’s video appeared in my feed the other week. I had been trying to figure out how to teach my son God’s word and how to enrich my prayer life and learn and I was lost. Saw her video and was ENTHRALLED. I immediately,y bought all these supplies from Amazon but then I felt overwhelmed. Lol. I also haven’t picked all my categories. But since then I’ve been getting more videos in my feed about specific things I need. Lo and behold tonight your video comes up. At first I didn’t know if I was gonna watch the entire video cuz it’s almost 40 minutes. Giiiiiirl as soon as you started talking, I was HOOKED! OMG!!!! This is Amazing!!! Yessss I will definitely start doing this. I also get stuck on prayer. This will really help me. It’s so funny to me that your son is name Izaiah and your husband is Marcus because I have 2 boys and one is Marcus and the other isaiah with an s lol!! Also I have a daughter I’m struggling with her name is Ashley she is 21. My boys are 22 and 24 they have some sort of special needs and I’m a single parent. I have family that help. My relationship with Jesus has a been a roller coaster but now I feel it’s somewhat steady. I want to go deeper in my relationship with him. I grew up as a Christian since day one. So I have never lost faith nor will I EVER! Lol!! But thank you soooo much for this. Such a huge help. I definitely subscribed. I started one to test it out - using an old (falling apart) Bible - I need to get some invisible scotch tape to tape pages back in! 😉So far, I've added some scriptures about baptism, forgiving others, gossip/words, and healing.

Good question and I apologize that I didn’t include in the video. I put two stickers back to back with the page in between. To strengthen the tab I covered with packaging tape. It’s not the most efficient but it works!:) 🌼🌻 thank you for watching have a blessed day! 🥰🤩

Like you I felt like I should use what I have and not buy extra, my bible is just like yours plain, simple but maroon not black. I like your idea of painting it, may do that. I tried to print out the ones on Sisteritas, but thet were on a black background, so took alot of black ink & I had to stop. (Tho it may have been a problem w/ my lack of tech knowledge! 😂)

I agree with the others who have said they like the way you have kept the same color tabs at the same height on the pages. Man! That keeps it simple and easy on the eyes. A bit more time intensive perhaps but I had them in abundance and wanted to be good with my resources:).

How did you put the extra prayers in? Also, what are the best markers to use that don’t bleed through?Such a wonderful video for so many reasons!❤
I put paper over the first few pages by folding a blank paper over it and then taping around it with washi tape. :) The markers are a combination of Staedtler paint pens and Tombow brush pens. Highly recommend them for bible use:) I hope you enjoy making yours!
You also can use colored pencils, they don’t bleed through.

@@graceandtruth4806 when you have an opportunity I’d love for you to share the scriptures for prodigal children…I have two adult daughters that have lost their way but don’t believe they have bc they’ve fell in to how the world says you’re saved and they believe they’re ok. I definitely want some scripture to pray over them or if you can even provide how to find these scriptures would be great. I get so overwhelmed at times trying to get organized to work through things. God is still good and blesses me tremendously.

That said; my favorite Bible to seek commentary from is The MacArthur study Bible. A second favorite would be the Tyndale Life Application Bible. This year I am using the Woman’s Study Bible. I saw a great video for those with no budget. Yes, this is lovely but you could still just write prayer categories in a notepad and keep that with you as you open to those scriptures an pray. xxx
