Oh man, I’m sorry. I really don’t have any way to get it printed onto tab. And I’m not very good at that. Sometimes I post notes on the video itself, showing the string and position that I play on.
Oh well, it’s a BigHeart Porcelain Dome. They were called the Queen Bee, I think. The company is now mostly gone and there was one guy left at one of the phone numbers within the website. You could search eBay or Reverb, or try bigHeartslide.com.
I’ve seen some experimental guitars that people did that with. you’ve got to have the deep dish to drop that cone into, and that would just wreck up a guitar. There are so many decent cheap resonators out there nowadays, like the Recording King. I guess I would resort to that first and get a little experience with that entire sound hole and resonator cone thing
wow, sweet, uplifting, music, to lift my soul. I'm probably your age, and about three years into learning guitar. After carpal tunnel surgery, and mild arthritis, the slide may be better for my stiff fingers. Thanks!
I have really bad arthritis in my thumb and I can’t play real long like I used to. Just a few years back I was doing four hour gigs, now two hours is pretty rough. Last week I had surgery for a trigger finger and Dupuytren contracture, and the surgeon gave me a shot of Cortizone in that bad thumb while I was out. I guess you just get more tenacious and keep going. I always say, “I’m not the 57-year-old I used to be!” 🤣❤️🎸🎶
My question is at the end when you were playing through the song you played without moving. I tried but nothing happens. What is your secret?
Dale, could you please put online the entire TAB for playing this with a slide?

Hi Dale - where did you get that closed end slide you are using?

Man, what a great explanation and way to play it. Well done, Dale.
is it possible to convert an old guitar into a resonator?
