One of Paul’s best. If my guitar wasn’t in storage I’d chord along with you.
@@dsoutherland1747 … I am doing this song in four different parts and I’m making a playlist on it. So, someday, when you get your guitar back, you’ll be able to look it up and find it.

Brilliant idea.
@@cmarch2277 … I tried everything! I read an acoustic guitar magazine about 1 million years ago about Jackson Browne, using a cheap microphone and singing through a guitar amplifier. I was trying to emulate that. I tried a blue harp microphone, and that didn’t work. I got the old electro voice like they had in our principals office back at high school in the 1960s, that was just a cheap crappy Mike and that didn’t work. I saw a punk band in Chicago. The name of the band was Coachwhips. And there was John Dwyer out front singing through an old telephone mouthpiece taped on to a microphone stand. And it was plugged into an old amplifier. It sounded just like the 1930s crap I was trying to get. When I got back home and returned to work the following Monday, I went and grabbed one of the old telephones that were laying in the bottom drawer of the old cabinet. They should’ve been thrown out,, but the trash man’s loss was my gain.
You have an awesome voice for real!!! Really appreciated!!❤❤❤❤

I've had my hat fly off my head more times than I would like to admit lol, and that ushanka hat is awesome, looks warm! 👍
@@Thomas-pq4rb … the wind caught my red baseball cap, and I caught it before it flew into the river. 🤣 … best to wear the big trapper/bomber type of hat, especially when the wind starts blowing and the temperature is below zero. I have two of them.
@idobro Good catch! And that's nice, those hats definitely come in handy during the winter cold spells 🥶
Stay safe and enjoy.😌
@@dsoutherland1747 … oh yeah, today is warm, above zero actually, and I wore two layers. The colder it got, the more layers I used. And, I’m retired and I haven’t worked for a year and a half, except for my music stuff. So getting out for a couple walks every day is really good for my health and it keeps me pretty much wide awake, and hopefully sort of vibrant.
@ Yes, it’s amazing how an extra layer or two can make a difference. We had an unusually hard freeze two nights ago close to New Orleans. Still thawing.🥶
@ … we’ve had some cold up here, but not much snow. We are way behind in our precipitation. I was talking on the phone to my son and granddaughter in Charlotte, NC the other night and she shouted out that it’s snowing. She was born there. My son, although he’s lived in warm climes ever since he got out of school 25+ years ago, is, of course from Wisconsin. He came back to the phone and laughed telling me 1/4 inch. 🤣
@ That was probably the same weather system that moved from Louisiana all along the Gulf Coast, then up the eastern seaboard. We got 6-7 inches of snow here and temp down to 15 degrees.❄️
@ … amazing, right?
I love Crows and Ravens!
@@dsoutherland1747 … these were all crows. We have a small zoo and wildlife sanctuary just a few miles away at the edge of town. There’s a Raven there, and his low cackling voice and huge stature is almost scary. Love it!
@ They are both so intelligent.
Going to try and learn this for my girlfriend. She loves and adores the Beatles
@@snaqqu … there’s a lot more chords in this. I don’t know if you can just find lyrics and chords by googling it, otherwise I could make a video tonight or tomorrow, if I can find a time. It has that middle section, where it goes into another key, the key of B flat.
@ that would be amazing
@ … I got a part two finished. I actually make three different copies, for shorts and content videos. th-cam.com/video/rBAHOKQs-AU/w-d-xo.htmlsi=k2e0tvEeB66sd9nP

@@mitalisaha9960 … ❤️😊❤️
I luv ya, but you’re crazy!🥴😮😝🥺😵💫
@@lindasummers8271 I was dressed up so warm it was easy. The only thing cold was my left thumb. I had some problem with that 30 years ago, some kind of nerve disease. I had tried to chiropractor, and then I finally went to a neurologist, and he told me I was just at the tail end of some nerve disease thing. It was in my neck and my left hand was going numb. I was left with a cold thumb for the rest of my life.
@ oh, Dale that sounds awful. Especially for a guitar player! Good thing it wasn’t your right thumb! I’m glad you’re safely home, from this walk, anyway! ☺️🙃
@ … now I just got back from Kwik Trip and Kavarna. I got some goodies to eat and now I’m gonna make a video and watch some “Yellowstone” on Netflix. I just started that one at Bill and Teri’s recommendation. It’s good, but it said in the modern day and it can be pretty dark and gruesome. I really want to see the old ones like like “1923”. I saw an ad for one of those with Harrison Ford and that one looks good. I really like the Historic old ones.
@ I’d like to see 1923, too. Just got a recommendation from Kelly yesterday. I have it written down, but can’t think of the name offhand. Glad you’ll be inside. Have a great afternoon! 😁
I had that same guitar and a 87' fender jap stratocaster too. Good guitars.
Killer playing, Dale! What year is your Fender Tele Custom? I have one, too. A 1974.
@@TomO.3678 … hey, thank you so much! Kind of weird, I had a brand new red Telecaster in 1967 and then a brand new Thinline in 1969, as well as many other guitars that cost more money. But nowadays, being older and retired, and playing resonators as well as electric guitars, I can’t afford quite so much. I wasn’t smart enough to keep all those old guitars. This one is actually a 2019 Squier CV 70s Custom. I had one before, a few years ago, and I didn’t like it. And when I decided to try it again, I found this on eBay and got it for only $270. And when it arrived at my doorstep, I noticed the white bobbin on the bridge pickup, and then the word fender across the wide-range humbucker. Apparently the guy didn’t know what he had. $270? Go figure. In any event, this one is totally different everything from the neck and frets,to the body, feels better and it sounds really killer. Funny, I’ve been playing old Blues for about 30 years. I copy all the old guys and then change it into my folk/rock, Norwegian/Swedish roots. My own kind of style. And there’s something that really resonates with me, besides the resonator Guitars, and that’s the Blues man with a cheap guitar. The idea makes me feel more authentic and I love it. One of my favorite guitars is my Silvertone 615, with a DeArmond Soundhole pickup. I called it my Elmore James guitar. The guitar cost me $100 and I got the pick up from my son for $100. It’s a monster.
Sweet Teles. Gotta pull the e off the custom for Keith's stuff😅

@@lindasummers8271 … it’s supposed to go down tomorrow. There was also some talk about Trump reviving it. It could be a great ploy of his, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he planned on something like this to get some favor among TikTokers. He’s very good at manipulating people.
@, he sure is. I was thinking the same thing, cuz he sure didn’t want to get rid of last go ‘round! 🙄

Well you'll never be able to set the intonation on the low E if you ever decide to change string gauges. If you already had the tools out, you should've just sawn the screw in half. Seems like what you did is too extreme
