Thank you so much for watching everybody, I’m blown away by the response to this one!! But once again a bot account has been created in my name, if an account with my picture replies “let’s talk” or something similarly sketchy on your comment, please ignore or report it.

Your pitch is NUTS man. I’m gonna try a hand at the hybrid slide style you’re doing. I love how Greg Koch uses his bird finger for the slide, but how you manage with the pinky is awesome!

@@chrisquick9219 He has another video where he talks about a slide teacher he had who made them use the pinky for the slide as a requirement, and how he realized the advantages and stuck with it. I've been testing it out and man, it's been a ton of fun and I feel like I already have decent control.

You are certainly fit to call your self a Tutor. Your whole instruction is well thought through. Speaking as someone who was playing a guitar a long while before you were born - reaching 55 years experience now - and also a guy who has rarely bothered with slide-guitar, I can tell you, You KNOW your stuff.
Thank you. I am learning a lot here.

What a world where “we” can get teaching like this for free? Speak for yourself bud. Yeah! Isn’t it great how society has evolved a gig economy where things run on the honor system but also allows freeloaders easier ways to take advantage!? You can bet that Dylan here didn’t wake up one day only to realize that his life’s calling was to give away all his knowledge and hard work for free to people such as yourself. You’re that guy who was proud of ripping off musicians on Napster back in the day because you could, and you’re the guy who’ll say, “Isn’t this a great world where “we” can get high quality restaurant food delivered right to our house and not have to tip!” What a DB thing to say to an artist and his nearly 12k subscribers, honestly smh. Oh but after absorbing his content and learning from him you did take a moment to type him a Godspeed, I’m sure he considers that the equitable trade of value that makes this all worth it!

@@LeashMechanic chill out. Dylan can perfectly decide for himself if he wants to give this lesson away for free and there are many reasons for this, from altruistic to commercial. Enjoying this doesn't make you a freerider.

As I get older (I'm 55), guitar is becoming tougher and tougher on my hands after years of abuse. I've been getting into slide, specifically standard-tuning slide using my pinky, and you've been my inspiration. Really enjoying it so far, and it's so much easier on my fingers to play this way (I haven't done much behind-the-slide fingering, though). Great stuff and I look forward to more. Rhett made a hell of a find in you.
