Scared Bunny Rabbit Trapped in Car Engine for Hours

- Even after 34 years of saving animals from weird situations, Simon is still amazed by some of the rescues he is called to. This one was very unusual; he'd never had to deal with a wild rabbit stuck in a car engine before! The poor rabbit had been inside the car chassis for several miles and hours, when the car was driven to the garage for a service. Mr Bunny didn't want to leave the car or be caught, so Simon struggled with him for quite a long time. Suddenly, the rabbit took matters into his own 'paws', found a way out underneath the back of the car and ran towards a busy road... Watch the video to see if Simon caught him before it was too late!

It was funny when he flew down the grass and his little white tail bobbing along. This man is really a saint helping all these animals to safety. His hand and arm is cut to ribbons. You need to get that seen to ASAP. 😲

This actually happened to me one time and when i called animal control they took them out and 3 other baby bunnies came out to! There all very healthy and fine and super cute!

question: after being scratched or bitten by a wild animal how come th ed animal isn't quarantined to be observed for rabies....even those rabies is quite rare in civilized countries there still is a chance..
Do rabies even exist in the UK? Except for some cases of bats? I know that in Sweden it's basically non existent.
Luckily there is no rabies here in the UK :)
I've heard that even here, in the US, there are still a few cases of rabies found each year ....mostly in bats.

MeldinX2 I didn't think they bit ppl either...it's when kids or other fools try to pick up a very sick one that'll be on someone's lawn in the daytime. A month or so ago some did exacly that ... Ppl should realize that healthy bats are not out at during daylight hours.

As a caretaker of house rabbits, I can certify that this is an accurate representation of rabbits. Their curiosity gets them into a situation they can't get our of; they resent help and get themselves further into trouble; they scratch you with their little foot razors; and once you finally have them in a container and release them, they won't budge. Adorable obstinate little rascals.
imagine if right when the rabbit zoomed into his freedom at the end, an eagle just swooped him up and flew away. after such a happy moment and all that effort. 😂😂😂

Hopefully he didn't get any disease from the rabbit. Most of wild rabbits have diseases and fleas.
He has experience with wild animals, so I would assume that he knows what to watch out for.
Considering this is his profession, I'd assume that he's trained and vaccinated.
everyone that works with animals is usually vaccinated so no worriesa bout that
Considering he regularly handles foxes and badgers, many of them sick, I'm pretty sure he has vaccines and washes his hands and stuff. Also rabbits aren't really known for having diseases humans can catch.
