- With suspicions of a fox cub all alone, Simon went about determining if it had been abandoned by its mother. With the help of some trail cams, the team sprung into action when they realised that this youngster have been left to fend for itself...

If you lived in the country and kept chickens you would soon now why if a fox gets in with your hens it will kill as many as it can not just one to feed its family.
@@weaton25 There are other ways to prevent animals from getting to your livestock though. I understand some people feel they gotta do what they gotta do to protect their livestock. Having a merry jaunt shooting animals where they live while they run terrified is much different.
Because the Tory Toffs love causing suffering, just ask Barbara Hester of the Warwickshire Hunt...

When these animals are caught, it must be a pretty frightening experience for them. Imagine the relief when they gradually realize that maybe this isn't a bad thing. That's why I love to see them eat. Poor thing looked so hungry.
I wonder how they capture animals without the animal dying from stress. Sadly, that can happen. Maybe the animals know they’re being rescued and not eaten!
@@rosethehat2073 yeah, i was watching another video where they were rescuing a deer and in the comments they stated that deer, wild rabbits, and some other animals are really difficult to handle because they can get capture myopathy, and thats basically a capture related heart attack
I live pretty close by Chiswick. Thank you for coming all the way up here to help our foxes!! I'm always keeping an eye on the foxes that live in my area. Had a vixen give birth to her cubs in our garden while we were away many years ago.. Brings me such joy to see them grow and prosper.

Such a little cutie. It was heartbreaking to see how little fight it had left when caught, from dehydration and hunger. Happy to see it join new little family and getting something to eat. 🦊
Well done Simon, on crafting an ideal _"Fox Intimidator",_ that will make any fox cub turn and run straight into a net in the opposite direction, haha. _(No really, it was a good idea and I could have seen it perfectly for the purpose you intended._ 🤭 _)_

Foxes are so sweet, and get such crap from a lot of people. They have to fight for food, shelter, have ticks, fleas, mange , worms as well to deal with. Being poisoned, hurt run over. Just feel so sorry for them. I always help them. Wish more people would to. Xx

I have been watching the fox cubs on the webcam, they are soooo sweet, I am just in love. Its sad they didn't get to stay with their parents but at least they have buddies to play with.

I have 5 fox cubs living in my garden and their momma hasn't come back for them... She was last seen with a bad limp about a week ago...
I'm keeping them well fed though with sainsbury's reduced meat items!

Great stuff guys my mummy fox will be giving birth soon again. So back out the garden making sure all holes are filled to neighbours.last year she had 3 babies that would come out to play under mums supervision such beautiful beautiful creatures just melt my heart. Unfortunately the neighbours didn’t agree one died in my arms one died all alone POISONED!!! The last one I had to take from mum to give her a chance of survival.please god I can keep these ones safe,it’s heartbreaking when mum calls n they don’t come 💔💔💔
Aside from seeing the wonderful animal rescues, the view of people's gardens is breathtaking! So quintessentially English what they can do with minimal spaces, so creative. Almost as ingenious as Simon solving difficult rescue obstacles.

Fox rescue is my favorite. Since you say that you have 31 cubs that you're currently looking after, would it be possible that you do a video series only on the rescued fox cubs?
Poor little one, I'm glad she was rescued in time and there were other fox cubs so she could have the interaction. It sounds like there were no others so I wonder if she got separated and was never found by her family. Thank goodness for Simon and his team to rescue poor babies like this along with adults to make sure they go on to live full happy lives.

Foxes are my favourite animal and I'd absolutely LOVE one as a pet but down here in Australia it is illegal so naturally I'm super jealous of anyone that DOES have a pet fox and it's how I'll feel until my dying day. I I have a lovely sized plush fox that I keep on my bed to keep me company when I sleep and it's is great for hugging. I have a nice sized collection of other fox themed items like more plush toys, some books, and figures etc but I can't expand it because I have limited space :(
I love seeing the work you do. I imagine it's easier on the babies when they have friends to help them settle in.

I guess the mum was probably killed by a car. I see so many of them running across roads at night and sadly several that didn't make it to the other side alive... 😭
