It certainly was a beautiful but wet & boggy hike, John. But I still enjoyed it. New vlogs are released weekly. Thank you for watching and commenting. I really appreciate it. Have a great weekend.
On the lake you find yourself in a beautiful landscape... you can see that today the wind and the cold are biting... beautiful because the landscapes are initially bright green then turn to brown and other shades... sometimes the path passes in the middle of the water and it's not easy to pass, I see (minute 10:44).. nice to see that even if you're tired, wet you're always happy and smiling.. 😊💪👍
That is definitely right. No matter how cold or wet I get, I can still manage a smile. It was a beautiful hike. Thank you for watching, commenting, and for your continued support. I really appreciate it. Have a great weekend.
Chris, your hike through Kinder Downfall, The Edge, Kinder Low, and Edale Cross was a captivating journey! 🏞 The diverse landscapes and the adventurous route you took made it truly special. The wind and rain couldn't dampen the beauty of Kinder Reservoir and the stunning autumn colors. 🍂 The images of Kinder Downfall blowing back on itself must have been mesmerizing, and reaching Kinder Low for that second Trig (or third, including the abandoned one) added an extra thrill. 🚶♂ Despite the moist and boggy conditions, your enthusiasm and the breathtaking views kept the hike enjoyable. Thanks for sharing this unique and adventurous experience! Looking forward to more of your exciting hikes. 👏🌳

👍7 what a beautiful route up Kinder, nice to read about the potential for free parking too. Lovely reservoir. Definitely autumnal colours now, nice far reaching views from the pennine way. Great shot of the trig, with windy face! ❤ wow the waterfall is blowing up, thats some wind! Impressive shots. Ah kinder low, lovely! Mam Tor in the distance. Edale Rocks and nice nearby views. Great venture to Edale Cross. Lovely route
It was really enjoyable, and even though every route up Kinder is a tough one, this one was the easiest one so far. Thank you both for your continued support. I really do appreciate it. Have a great weekend.

Hi Chris, a nice hike. Beautiful views of the reservoir. Love the reflections in the water. Stunning autumn colours and views. Sounds very blustery and looks cold, you made it to the Edge. We have never seen a waterfall going upwards ha ha . The lovely cross. thank you for sharing , take care x Julie and Tony x
Morning Chris 😊 hope your well. This is one I’ve done before! I went with Zara before my TH-cam days I think it was but it’s a lovely walk. I remember stopping quite a bit on the way up. After the top we went down to mermaid pool I think it was called as Zara wanted to do a wild swim there. I bravely watched on the side 😂😅 cool seeing the backwards waterfall. Nice walk 😁😁
Yasmin!!! It is beautiful up there. Yes, the Mermaid Pool is below the falls a bit. And you didn't go in? I bet it would be cold no matter the time of year. As for the up, no matter what side you come up Kinder, it is a hard slog. I stopped more times than I showed, lol. Thank you so, so much for your support, Yasmin. I really appreciate it. Have a great weekend.

Great to see the waterfall blowing back up at Kinder Downfall! I've heard it does that, but never seen it. Well done on another couple (or should I say three trigs) Chris. Always a great walk onto Kinder. I remember coming down William Clough thinking how steep it was, so I'm not surprised it was a tough climb going up. Despite the rain, a great walk then. Hi Chris, just spotted one of your videos we haven't seen! A bit blowy out. Nice views, a fallen trig, a lovely stream, and a waterfall falling upwards! ❤ How cool is that?! Thanks for a fun vlog 👍😊
Kinder is always a good walk, whichever way you go. The upward flowing stream at the Downfall is something I've seen many times - though I have been there on days with placid weather. Good to see the area again.
Excellent mate I was on Jacobs Ladder Kinder Low Trig Kinder Reservoir/Wood in March & Very much Blanket of Cloud Very Atmospheric & then went to Hayfield & New Mills - Best part of the Hope Valley & Brutal Weather at times. Hi Chris! That was an awesome hike. I am not sure I have ever seen a waterfall falling up? Plus a trig knocked over, that was a bit sad. But it sure was windy for you on that long hike. The reservoir was pretty too. ~ Anita 😊👍
