The Guardian is no reliable media outlet. They are extremely misandrist and cherry pick issues they report on. And they tell stories instead of reporting facts. There’s too much spin given to issues and anywhere there’s a woman involved, it’ll be portrayed as either heroic or an act of discrimination by, naturally, an man.

John Wares reputation deserves to be damaged.
OK he wasn't the one telling the lie, but as a journalist he should understand about verifiable claims, especially when they involve another person. The fact that Erica Bird was not contacted nor allowed to reply to an overt accusation against her, and that her accusers story was just accepted without question. His response was to say that the offence took place after the recording was switched off, at which point with a lack of direct evidence you absolutely need to give Ericas side of the story so we can make our own minds.
Utterly biased and one sided, and perhaps not by John Wares own volition or personal plan but entirely deliberate in my opinion.
I stopped watching BBC over 20 years ago now. They still had a decent reputation then. Now they use the last dregs of that reputation to give legitimacy to biased politically motivated propaganda essentially. And Chomsky's principles of manufacturing consent are in full swing. If it's any other nations national broadcaster it's state mouthpiece propaganda, but with the beeb it's impartial independent etc etc... pull the other one.

It became the annexe of Downing Street pretty much, from that point on...

Indeed always made me laugh how there is a disclaimer on Facebook saying RT is Russia State Sponsored media which is right of course but no similar disclaimer for the BBC!? Went to the cinema a couple of months ago and before the film there was an advert for BBC essentially propagandising for themselves in which they repeatedly said words like truth and trust honesty and integrity was audacious as it was surreal as is they had done a party political broadcast with help from Tory party press office, there’s another one called Trust is earned where they make similar claims where they say phrases like “corroborate claims” “check and verify” “be reluctant to rely on a single source” “all information should be weighed to get to the truth” and finally summarise by saying if you know how it’s made you can trust what is says” honestly.

What it actually shows is that the approach even to anti-Semitism is purely performative gatekeeping.
Gatekeepers are among the most insurmountable barriers to genuine progress, because they inevitably lack the depth of understanding to take genuinely progressive principles in anything other than un-nuanced, soundbite form. The general idea of what's true on any given issue is a case of 'following the crowd at chow time'.
And of course, such an approach is not only openly bigoted against other minorities (the legal term for a hierarchy of this nature is 'discrimination'), it's actively anti-Semitic, which is how it leads to the a largest purge of Jews in history.
Starmer's a wrong 'un, on just about every metric. Do. Not. Trust. This. Man.

    - Can we come and do a piece with you about how your report confirms that Corbyn and The Left are all awful antisemites?”
    - Erm, you might want to actually read the report first.

The EHRC investigated Labour and as Corbyn has suggested, the claims of anti-Semitism were politically motivated to remove Corbyn from power as the US were concerned as others in the right wing including Guardian, Telegraph and Mail by the shift to more socialist doctrines. The EHRC barely investigate any major public interest issue so to launch a fully fledged investigation into a political party was unprecedented.

I have come to the conclusion that people in public life only care about the truth as it applies to them directly. If not, then why would they waste their time worrying about the little thing that is truth if it has zero impact on them? Or it goes against what is beneficial to these people? Truth in politics is optional and has not been mandatory as it should be in quite some time. 🙄🤔😕

I can t think that the Tories ever do that ..theh circle the waggons and do dome bs what about ism and move on ax fast ad possible..now I know that's scuzzy but for us to get them out we need at times to play the bloody game ..just a thought..by the I fo appreciate this channel.and a lot of east it puts out ..
