@@DanielaMedina-jg2kk There are over 65 species of Orchid native to New England! While they are certainly diverse in the tropics, you are not alone in your amazement as most are shocked to find some of the most spectacular species are those native to boreal and subarctic bogs and swamps!
Excellent video. The yellow lady’s slipper is one of my absolute favourite flowers despite having yet to actually see one outside the Native Plant Trust in Framingham, MA. I must say, however, as a fellow creator, please, please try to reduce camera shake as it detracts from the footage of these remarkable plants.
I really would like to see Cypripedium reginae - there are populations here in Western New York, but they are hard to come by. I have seen lots of both other species found in the region, but I not that gem.

Omg I saw a pink orchid a few months ago in a walk and it blew my mind bc I thought orchids could only grow in tropical rainforests! So fascinating
