Thank you and Carla for taking us on the reenactment love history. What a beautiful flower shop I wish I lived were you are. ❤A perfect date night with a beautiful rainbow 🌈
Linda, thank you for another great video. I always enjoy your variety of content, music selections, and filming. Historic reenactments are wonderful teaching moments and bring to life the sacrifices that others made so we can enjoy the freedoms that we love and should never take for granted. Your rainbow at the conclusion was the "icing on the cake". You know how to please an audience. Your videos end too quickly. I don't want them to end. God bless your "kindred spirit". Robert.
Linda thank you for the history. We can never forget so important to remember and teach to our children . I Always enjoy and look forward to your videos with coffee in hand 🤗
What a fun day with Carla. Just watched her video. Makes me miss my BFF who retired and moved from California to Idaho. Oh, how I miss our adventures, and her! And wow, the resemblance to your ancestor is uncanny!!!! My friend and I also solved all the worlds problems, decorated every porch or yard as we walked by , laughed til our sides hurt, and had the best shopping and lunches ever. You are so lucky to have each other. I am definitely a window peeker too! When you were cleaning the back yard and moving the stones, I could just picture a sweet canopied tree there with under plantings . The flower shop was beyond charming!!! We use to have one a few towns away , but unfortunately its gone. There are fewer and fewer beautiful places like this for women to browse and dream and get inspiration. Thanks for a wonderful video!
What a wonderful few days spent with your hubbie, your beautiful property and the fun day out with your friend, Carla! I give you two a lot of credit for making it through the day on so little sleep! The reenactment looked interesting and all of the old colonial-era homes really speak to me. Thank you so much for taking us along!
Hello Linda... just wanted you to know i ordered a gift box for my daughter in Colorado..it had Apple Cider pancake mix which was a big hit with my 7 year old grand daughter Kaylee. A Apple Orchard candle which was so aromatic. I think she is missing New England. I am so glad i sent it to her. What a wonderful gift to give. I love watching your videos. Always look forward to the next one. Have a wonderful day.❤😊
It is so great to have a fun friend like Carla. It was such a happy video and I hope you two will have many more fun times. Wow, that flower shop had some items that caught my eye. Thanks, Linda and have a great week!
What a fun day out with your friend. 😊 I love your vision for your garden. It's perfect for your home. It's always such a treat to see a beautiful rainbow.
Thank you so much Linda for taking us along on the reenactment, my 5th great grandfather fought in the American Revolutionary war. There's a plaque in the Virginia county court house with his name and 17 other men from his county.
A good friend used to be the window peeper while I remained in the get away car. We got us into some sketchy situations calling people who advertised upholstery services or antiques for sale on AM radio and in local newspapers. It was always hilarious once we escaped without being robbed. She was a decade older than me. I think her daughters were a bit jealous we were having so much fun like you and your friend. She moved to the city and worked helping to organize and stage estate sales. She and a new friend opened a shop together. She slowly lost her sense of adventure once buying and selling became work. Linda, you and Carla rekindled some great memories for me. I'll be smiling all day. Your video, music, soft voice always leave me relaxed and looking forward to your next production.💐
Linda I really enjoyed your video this morning. What fun you and Carla must have had and the mic mishaps are just fun memories you made. I loved the reenactment. It’s truly a blessing to have a close friend/sister to do fun things with especially, looking in windows of abandoned houses lol. I had my morning coffee and went on the excursion with the two of you. Love your vision for the landscaping. I feel the same way when something looks hard to move, just keep rolling it and eventually you’ll win, good job. That rainbow was amazingly beautiful thank you
History is so important for our Country. Makes me sad that it’s not focused on in schools much anymore. We have a town called Old Salem here in NC, everyone dresses in period costumes in all the shops. It’s so much fun and a learning experience in my opinion. My first time going was on a school trip 5th grade. Unfortunately our area schools don’t go there on field trips anymore😢 Thanks for sharing your trip❤
Linda thank you for taking us along with you and Carla.. Really enjoy the history you shared with us..And I really like what you will be doing with your garden..I know it will be beautiful..And thank you you for the beautiful ending.. Until next time..
Hello Linda, I wanted to let you know how touched I was to see the rainbow. My father passed away years ago, and it was mid-winter (he had a wicked sense of humor and a jokester). I always said to him that "when you make it to heaven, please don't scare me." On the way home, we witnessed a rainbow it was even featured on the Evening News. How odd that was with NO RAIN anywhere. Simply thank you so that I had a good cry.
Amazing rainbow, I was lucky to see one last year in a park near my house while walking my dog Max , a beautiful half circle of a rainbow 🌈, i still have the picture on my phone
Greetings from Indiana.. the history reenactment so interesting , what a fun day you two girls had! The flower shop was amazing , I would have been shopping for hours. My goodness what a beautiful rainbow .. God's promise indeed ! have a super week, Paula
Thank you for sharing your historic trip, really enjoyed it. I know I would have joined you peeking in windows. What fun! You and Carla are so lucky to have found a friend that enjoys so many of the same things. Your garden plan looks wonderful, good luck with all that. Loved the rainbow ending. Enjoy your week.
Thank you for taking us on your adventure with Carla! I love watching you in your garden areas. I love your garden plans! Now to go putter in my tiny front garden in the city.
What a beautiful video Linda, I enjoyed everything about it to the reenactment, to your walk with Carla and peeking into the historic house .Your plans to the garden the beautiful shop I love everything that was in it. The dessert.. yum and that gorgeous Rainbow it really was magnificent, it looked like a dome to a water globe.. just magical. Thank you for taking us along and giving us an insight to your history there. Til then kindred sprits. ❤
Oh Linda, be very careful. I loved gardening. Due to a spinal injury (from lifting) I’m no longer able to do it. Thanks so much for the history lesson!🌷
Such a fun girl's day out 😊 I'm just happy that I didn't have to get up that early to watch it...thank you for always doing the hard stuff for us. ❤ I think the stone is so pretty around the gardens. I see your vision. The rainbow was so perfect. Love seeing them after and sometimes during the rain. Make it a great week 😊❤
Every one of your videos adds new dimensions to my life. Thank you for showcasing the Paris-inspired flower shop in Andover- her book and shop are now on my “ to do” list!
Hello Linda, I don’t leave comments very often but I just had to say thank you for the lovely videos you share with your viewers. When you’re out & about visiting those quaint little towns I often get Hallmark Channel vibes. And that beautiful rainbow, I’ve never seen one like that before! I greatly appreciate you!
Awesome outing with Carla. Nice to have a like-minded friend who enjoys the same adventures! Thank you for the stroll through the historic district and reenactment. I see things I will never see in my lifetime.
Hi Linda, lovely to see you and Carla having fun together. You are both my favourite youtubers ❤️ I adore old houses and their history too....we have plenty of them here in UK. Your garden design looks amazing. Looking forward to following that journey with you too x
Thank you for sharing a great video. I would love to see that historical re-enactment one of these days. I also have both Lucy and Sandra’s books and the books are so beautiful and inspirational. I’ll be attending their workshop in June and I am beyond excited!
That full rainbow?!!!!!! STUNNING! I would have that scene made into a picture or poster to display! Really enjoyed your travels and experiences in this video. 😊 ~M~
Love the history. My father was right, I was born a century too late. The battle of the ditch lilies - I am there with you. Two layers of cardboard and mulch and they are still popping up. Beautiful rainbow - perfect timing.
Oh my Linda, you do resemble your great+ great grandfather, that was amazing to see! I just love the tour into the past, we enjoy doing those same things in our area. I just love learning about our American History, even with the good and the not so good. Thanks for bringing us with you and Carla on the tour. I too peek into the windows of those old Colonial homes on tour. I think your garden will look so beautiful when it's done. It will take time, but it is worth it! I love seeing that beautiful French Floral Shop, so many things in there is so me! My home is part Early American Colonial, meets English Country Cottage, meets Country French. Sounds crazy, but it works, it's just perfect for me. 💗I love your channel and what you do. Every Sunday I look forward to your videos, it's makes my Sundays bright! And, I love seeing Willow in each of your videos. She is the sweetest! 💕
What an interesting post. I loved seeing the reenactment. Such beautiful houses and countryside to see. You all had a crazy trip. There's nothing better than an adventure with a girlfriend. Always enjoy your videos. ❤
Thank you so much for taking us with you & your friend to see this reenactment! I am in the DAR and would have loved to have seen this. 🤗 I don’t know where you get your energy from but I wish I had some of it.🤗 what a fun day!
I posted this on Carla's channel: I was watching Linda's video today and said hey that's a voice that I recognize. I said, I am going to flip over to Carla at My New England Story. I just know that's her and sure enough, here is your video. It is wonderful that you are friends and have a kindred spirit to hang out with.
Definitely love the picture you showed of the garden layout with the pea gravel, it’s lovely and more you. That rainbow 🌈 was gorgeous and very rare to see it from end to end . Thank you, so much, for sharing. ❤
Love the look of the bricked off area with pea gravel on the path. The reenactment was fun to see. In MI we have Greenfield Village, created by Henry Ford and it replicates early American life complete with horse and buggy rides as well as Model T’s.
Every Sunday I want to move New England. Hubby grew up there, in NH. Love American History, thanks for taking us to Lexington. You girls were having so much fun.
As a native Californian, I hope to visit New England someday...on my bucket list! Thank you for sharing this...and I would love to visit Sandra's store!
I’m also a native Californian who has spent a good amount of time in New England. Maine is my favorite state. Parts of New England remind me of the most northern part of California. I think you’d love it there! ❤
Seeing the entire rainbow is amazing, so beautiful! I enjoyed the trip to the reenactment! I love history so it was very interesting. I wish that flower shop was in my area. Thank you again,Linda for making my late Sunday morning so enjoyable!
I give you credit for rising early to arrive at Lexington Green by 5am. I managed to do that once, decades ago. Instead for the past 29 years, my family has marched from Sudbury to the North Bridge, on April 19, playing drums with the Sudbury Ancient Fyfe and Drum Co., reenacting the local farmers on that morning. I now call it long distance drumming.
I so enjoy your outings when you take us along. I do remember Patriot's Day and the battle in Lexington, seeing the "Red Coats" march into town. What a great day. Loved seeing your garden book....I save my flower tags too. So miss New England. Thank you again for our Kindred Spirit visit. Love me Spring tea box and goodies. Have a good week.
Good morning Linda. I love history. I thought the same thing when you mentioned the temperature drop. New England is so beautiful. I miss living on the east coast with all its rich history. Love the stone borders around the flower beds. I love stone walls & rock gardens.
Wow!! This is the best ! Thank you for videoing the reenactment, the gorgeous salt box home ( I’ve never seen one in person). The beautiful stone walls and countryside of this area! Our history is stunning. Thank you and please share more adventures with your friend.
My husband and I just watched your video as I am always telling him how much I enjoy them. He enjoyed it too and also the music is always soothing and beautiful! Carole
Greetings, Linda and Carla. We so enjoyed accompanying you both on your recent historic excursion. More please. Each of you is a delight; both of you together are a DOUBLE DELIGHT!!
Oh my goodness ....you and Carla are so funny.... getting up at 2:00 AM to drive to Lexington ...yikes!! You sure did have a "comedy of errors" kind of a day. I love Sandra's shop and I was lucky enough to go to a seminar last year where she did a flower arrangement ....she's very talented ...however, when I visit her shop I have to pace myself because I could literally buy one of everything in the store!! I love the idea of using rocks to outline little areas in the garden and I'm looking forward to seeing your interpretation of that lovely picture that you showed. As always, Linda, thank you for such a nice video and for all the inspiration that you provide.... have a great week!🌷🌷
What a wonderful and fun video! I just got back from Southern NH this evening and it's just so pretty. Loved the flower shop too. I envy what you get done in your yard. Although I love gardens I hate to put my hands in dirt. ☹
Hi Linda, I really enjoyed the beautiful trip Carla and you took, the reinactmant was great, it's funny to see them knowing i had family in that war.Ugh and the places you visited all the beautiful 1700's period which is my style was lovely to see You ladies had a fun day! Love your stone wall, and the gator makes life better! What a beautiful shopp and dinner.Have a blessed Sunday.🕊️💚
I had told Carla I was in Gettysburg for Patriots Day and enjoyed a talk at the Adams County Museum following chronological events from Lexington to the Battle of Trenton and onto Cornwallis' surrender.
Another lovely video! And I have to share that my labradoodle Beignet enjoys Linda’s channel as much as I do. I happened to be watching today’s episode on my phone, but as soon Beignet heard Linda’s voice she immediately sat down in front of our turned-off TV , waiting to see if Willow would make an appearance!
This was a wonderful historic video! I loved every minute that your shared. The ending with the beautiful rainbow was absolutely wonderful. What a beautiful ending for your video ❤. Thank you so very much!
Linda, I just discovered your channel and I am enthralled! It is so relaxing and interesting. Your background music is lovely! Thank you for sharing your adventures , your recipes and your amazing talents with us.
Enjoyed the trip with you and Carla, it reminded me of my three sisters and I when we get together laughing about our little mishaps , we have a ball !!
Great video - I love New England!! I live in MN, but I got a chance a few years back to visit the Boston area and I had to make sure to visit Concord. My 9th great grandfather, William Hartwell, and his wife, Jazan Hartwell, are buried in an old cemetery in Concord. And of course I had to visit the Hartwell Tavern, as it was the home of his great grandson, Ephraim Hartwell. I loved visiting the area and would love to go back for a long visit, but in the mean time, thank you so much for your videos and the lovely visits to such beautiful historic places in New England! :)
Thanks for another fun day.....more memories for the book! lol. I am definitely adding that Flower Shop to my list, I have never been and it is absolutely beautiful!
@@newenglandfineliving LOL.... until I find the next fun thing to do! I have a feeling I wouldn't have to twist your arm too hard based on past experience. 😂
I love your motto - "I will until I can't"

I agree
So many people don’t know history and should.
Thank you for taking us along; the reenactment was thrilling!
And the books, flowers, garden plans and rainbow!
Everything was beautiful, calming and relaxing! The rainbow! Those moments make life worth it! 💝

Vicarious Gardening....most enjoyable this Sunday morning...especially after a week of the Other version! ( Oh for a Gator!)
Linda, I always look forward to your videos/blogs each Sunday. I could use a tiny bit more time to read the narratives. Thank you!!
I will keep that in mind re: the text.
You are Superwoman. Just amazing.
Nice video. Appreciated so much. What a spectacular rainbow, I have never seen a full one!!!!Wow!

Perfect rainbow,thanks for the shot
Thank you for sharing a great video. I would love to see that historical re-enactment one of these days. I also have both Lucy and Sandra’s books and the books are so beautiful and inspirational. I’ll be attending their workshop in June and I am beyond excited!
Thank you for taking us on your trip with Carla. It was so educational. Love the flower shop. Also, that rainbow was spectacular.!!!
They are working there way through cardboard here too. One area I dug down a foot to get most out. I am looking into a small backhoe to help me out.
Thanks! Love your program, I’m never dissapointed! I too had a (I believe it was) my 3rd great grandfather fight in the Revolutionary War.
Oh my Linda, you do resemble your great+ great grandfather, that was amazing to see! I just love the tour into the past, we enjoy doing those same things in our area. I love the idea of using rocks to outline little areas in the garden and I'm looking forward to seeing your interpretation of that lovely picture that you showed. As always, Linda, thank you for such a nice video and for all the inspiration that you provide.... have a great week!🌷🌷
Loved this video…..the reenactment was awesome.🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
You live the most wonderful life! Such an inspiration! 🌹
Wow
What a wonderful and fun video! I just got back from Southern NH this evening and it's just so pretty. Loved the flower shop too. I envy what you get done in your yard. Although I love gardens I hate to put my hands in dirt. ☹
Thank youso much for taking us along on your trip I enjoy your videos and seeing what you are going to do next.
Loved all the video but nothing more beautiful than a rainbow.
April 21st not May 21st. I hope the weather will be better in May. I'm over the rain and cold here in Rochester NY.

I had told Carla I was in Gettysburg for Patriots Day and enjoyed a talk at the Adams County Museum following chronological events from Lexington to the Battle of Trenton and onto Cornwallis' surrender.
Loved the rainbow ❤
Another lovely video! And I have to share that my labradoodle Beignet enjoys Linda’s channel as much as I do. I happened to be watching today’s episode on my phone, but as soon Beignet heard Linda’s voice she immediately sat down in front of our turned-off TV , waiting to see if Willow would make an appearance!
That is so cute! She seems to have a few followers like Beignet.
This was a wonderful historic video! I loved every minute that your shared. The ending with the beautiful rainbow was absolutely wonderful. What a beautiful ending for your video ❤. Thank you so very much!
I have the Flower Hunter book…..love it!
Thank for a good Sunday 😊😊
Linda, I just discovered your channel and I am enthralled! It is so relaxing and interesting. Your background music is lovely! Thank you for sharing your adventures , your recipes and your amazing talents with us.
Welcome and thank you!
It looks like you girls had a great time together ! Thank you for sharing!
How exciting! I'm glad you were able to visit your ancestors and their homes.
Thanks for another fun day.....more memories for the book! lol. I am definitely adding that Flower Shop to my list, I have never been and it is absolutely beautiful!
That was my 2:00 wake up quota for the year. You have to wait another year to ask!
@@newenglandfineliving LOL.... until I find the next fun thing to do! I have a feeling I wouldn't have to twist your arm too hard based on past experience. 😂
