Depends on the Australia you go to… if you want to go to all the expensive high end cities and do all the nicest things sure.. but if you go to coastal cities in New South Wales and Queensland, hire a car and just enjoy nature, the beaches, forests, mountains, waterfalls, bushland, the little coastal towns, markets, little fish and chip shops and camping.. it’s cheap and fun.
if you're in the US, UK, or EU it's not bad because the australian dollar is so weak. 450 AUS = 307 USD = 230 GBP = 275 EUR still way too much to spend on crab but not as crazy
