There's nothing wrong with being practical. There's a saying in the Philippines in Tagalog that "KUNG MAIGSI ANG KUMOT, MATUTONG MAMALUKTOT" literally translated as"IF THE BLANKET IS SHORT, LEARN TO BEND". So we just have to adjust to what available options we have. Be safe & take care.
Yeah! Me and Carol have stayed in many tiny places and huts even so its no big deal for us :D We like our tiny little home

1k a day is good it's cheap already. They have gas free aircon. Ref. Own kitchen! So far it's good😊🙏 take care
@@booscoseafoodspalawan9099 that's 30 thousand pesos a month not cheap. hotel prices. My three bedroom up and down is 8000 per month with utilities 10,000. and that's in Cebu City.

Hi, this is my first time to see your vlog. Actually, I watched Why you chose to stay in PH El Nido, that was the first, then your transfer from EN to your tiny house. I already subscribed to your channel. I pray to God for your safety and protection from Covid. We have lesser infected people and lesser deaths compared to other countries maybe because our President has decided to lockdown right away, and our country is archipelargic.

If you miss good Italian, I suggest Ristorante La Lupa there in El Nido. The owner and the chef are Italians and they know their business. :) Good folks. Enjoyed their whole lineup.

That house is great for your temporary stay. A bachelor type airbnbs like that usually is at least Php2000/night. People need to understand that they are in El Nido. One of our country's top tourist spots. Prices there esp. For accommodations are usually higher than what we expect for a community like that. They could've stayed in a dorm/apartment for a cheaper rent but you cant expect apartments there would look like what we have in the cities. They host tourists who usually stay for max of 1 week.
Good luck guys, hope you don't get too bored there throughout April. Would be nice if you could walk to the beach once in a while.
Yeah hopefully they might let us since they are saying there has never been any cases in el nido and it is shut off from the rest of the island. Would be strange to keep it locked down for another 3 weeks without any cases

Cerveza Negra is BEST paired with a dessert (as suggested by a San Miguel [hired] chef). You are becoming like locals by living in a community in El Nido. Stay safe, keep healthy and enjoy your quarantined life in that paradise.

I really enjoy watching these daily videos of living, so simple but so enjoyable to have this insight into something so intimate.
Smart move to safe some money by changing place to this tiny house. It looks quite nice with the small garden. I hope you will be able to buy some nice fresh vegetable and some fish in the market. Go to the market in the early morning hours when chance is best to get fresh seafood. Do the owners of the house provide some charcoal for the grill? Btw. I suggest as a sign of appreciation we all should be watching the full content of the ads as the revenues of the commercials are much lower than usual. Stay safe friends and good luck.

@@JumpingPlaces You will pull it off. Also get a container filled up with sea water. Sip on it each day. Its full of all the minerals. Keeps all the systems calm and in balance. It's no surprise hospitals hook patients up to saline solutions when experiencing trauma. Lock down is very taxing on some levels. It's good to be proactive in keeping your system calm so you can think clear and slip into deep states when sleeping.
I wouldn't sip the seawater from the El Nido beach area. Just sayin'. Ever hear of cauliform, not to mention oil?

Me and my swedish fiancé also are STRANDED in my OWN country. Since we are both working and living in MALTA and can't go back because of the PANDEMIC. ITS SO FRUSTRATING but also good to be stuck in my own Home :)

I remember I suggested to transfer to a rental apt. or a Bnb if the lockdown is extended. That way, you can cook your own food and monthly rental is cheaper than paying nightly rates in a hotel

The locals are friendly feel free to ask help and just be friendly with them and you will be fine.trycicle should be only 35-45 peso one way to go in the market unless it’s far away they may charged you more

About depression There are many websites than can help with depression or better term Adjustment disorder(look it up) . You guys have each other and is normal to be a little tense in this type of situations. You will be able to make it through. Cheers
