Awesome version of this song. It's kind of amazing how over time Heavy Metal music evolved, this song from 1967-1968 kind of began it all. In 1968-1972 we saw heavy metal emerge as a genre. I think the first hint of heavy metal in the future was Link Wray's "Rumble", sounding quaint and innocent by today's standards, at the time it was surprising, when he created it as his own version of The Stroll, the people kept requesting it like "play that oddball song again". And then Zip-A-De-Doo-Dah in 1962, a mostly tame rock and roll song except for the guitar solo, the mic on the guitar was up too high making it sound distorted, but they liked the sound so they kept it.
