    Great video.
    I've a H, Millennium too, great workhorses. I use them for the work you describe. Then Harder and Steenbecks for detail work (if required). The H is a doddle to clean etc - I'd gotten fed up of variable quality rattle cans and not being able to prime/base coat indoors in the winter months etc. So the H does the work of a rattle can. My dad and I had one years ago, but I'm glad I've revisited it👍😊

    The Paasche H is a great brush,, its American quality, has been around for God knows how long, spare are available, its easy to clean and use.
    If i simply want to spray a model then thexPaasche H is brilliant and simple to use.

    I have my eye on it for a while., thank you for sharing. I am using Badger 350 for priming, it has a medium tip which is 0.75mm. Which tip are you using for priming?

    • @HeresyProducktionz
      @HeresyProducktionz  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi there thanks for the comment. The Paasche H airbrush kit I have came with the H3 (0.65mm) needle. I have only ever used this size on this brush as I don’t have the additional needle sizes. I would imagine the medium tip (0.75mm) would be somewhat similar.

    I noticed that the paint cup you bought is actually for a Paasche VL airbrush. The Paasche H cup has a bend in the siphon tube, enabling it to sit at a better, more comfortable angle. Check it out.

      Thanks for pointing that out! I have been using it quite a bit with no issues but will pick the other up as well. Cheers

      You're welcome. Heck, with both H and VL cups, you'll be covered from all angles!

      I forgot to mention that the H cup comes in both right-handed and left handed versions.

    I also have a Paasche model H that I have owned for over 40 years. I noticed a couple of differences between yours and mine. Mine has what is called a stipple adjustment which is nothing more than an adjustment screw that provides a positive stop for the depression of the finger lever assembly. The other thing I noticed is that your metal color cup is the mirror image of mine. When inserted into the airbrush mine protrudes from the left hand side rather than the right like yours. Do you know if they make left and right hand cups? With me being left handed mine is always in the way.

      @HeresyProducktionz  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Cheers Roger if I remember right my kit only came with the glass jar not the cup. I purchased the cup separately and I have been told it is the wrong one for this model however it has always worked fine for me.

      They did change the design of the H. As far as I'm aware handed metal paint cups are not available at this time.

    Mine has the control wheel located right under the finger air valve button. This allows fine air control from the gun. It's not a on or off thing. Guess the maker got rid of this feature on later models. Too bad as I can cut the air flow right down to nothing using that finger button control. Lucky me! Mine is about 40 years old.

    How do you like that air brush I am decided ing on which air brush I want for my first one

    • @HeresyProducktionz
      @HeresyProducktionz  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I do like it for spraying initial base paint on models and priming and varnishing models. Am more into smaller scale models so for blending paint and creating light coats in smaller areas I prefer the Paache Talon over this one because you can control the amount of airflow and paint easier. Cheers

    I just bought a second hand one of this same model, but air comes out below where it screws onto the gun even though I have screwed the hose tightly to the gun. Is this supposed to happen? I am new to air brushing so don't know how this works. I don't hear air flow in your video when you are using the gun, which is what happens when I turn mine on and don't use it yet

    • @HeresyProducktionz
      @HeresyProducktionz  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      CaptinSS hi there. It sounds to me like you have a leak somewhere in your setup. Are you sure it’s at the connection point where the hose meets the airbrush? If that is the case then it may be a defect or damage in the fitting and could be either the thread on the brush or the hose connector. Otherwise it’s also possible that there is a hole in the line itself which would be a less expensive solution to replace. The only other thing I would mention is that hoses are usually specific to the airbrush brand. If you have a badger or iwata hose then it won’t fit properly to a paasche airbrush but if is fitting tight as you say then you probably have the right one.

    • @CaptinSS
      @CaptinSS 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      HeresyProducktionz thanks for the reply! Yea it's definitely at the connection, right below the threading part there's a metal part that moves around and air comes out when it's moved at certain angles. When I look closer, the metal around the hose is oblong like it had been squished, so I guess I have to replace the hose?

    • @HeresyProducktionz
      @HeresyProducktionz  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      CaptinSS Well assuming it’s the right hose the best case scenario is it’s a new hose you need if the thread on the airbrush isn’t damaged. If I were you I would look for a hobby shop that sells airbrushed locally and see if they do not have a compressor up and running to determine if a new hose will work. This way you don’t have to buy the hose to then find out it’s the airbrush. Also paasche as a company are very helpful in my experience writing there customer service may help as well. Hope that helps!

    Good demonstration accept you did not show us which paint container you were using to spray your warriors or demonstrate the gravity feed versus the other feed for paint use

    • @HeresyProducktionz
      @HeresyProducktionz  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      EMMETT ROWE thanks Emmett. I was using a Vallejo brand polyurethane black primer. Neither of the two feeds are gravity fed they are both delivered from a suction from underneath the brush the larger jar is just used for larger quantities as compared to the cup. Cheers Palmer

    I'm a newbie to air brushing so be gentle. I have the paasche H and and older paasche d500 1/10 compressor. I've been having a hell of a time getting paint to flow. After trying multiple paints i found a place that sells createx colors and that what i have. please Help my gun is clean, there is no blockage. If you are familiar with these products help a brother out. thank

      Brian Vasquez Hi Brian for me thinning paint and keeping the brush clean was the biggest challenge when starting to airbrush. I am not sure what application you are using the airbrush for but createx paints are water based. When I dilute the paint with water I look for what is described as a milky consistency on the side of the paint cup. Also run an airbrush cleaner through your brush if you are using it for more than 15-20 minutes. Hope that helps

      @brianvasquez4484 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      HeresyProducktionz thanks a ton I've bought the createx reducer and it works well, but if I can get the same result with water might as well go that way. thanks again, now on to the next challenge lol. I hate being new.

    I hate this airbrush and I am on the verge of throwing it in the garbage or smashing with a hammer. It's great if you want to airbrush rubbing alcohol, but nothing else flows through it. I'm going back to the crappy aztek that worked for years.

    • @HeresyProducktionz
      @HeresyProducktionz  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sorry to hear that I love mine and put primer through it! I do have to dial the nozzle back for thicker paints and of course dilute paints. Also as with any airbrush remove tip dry as it happens. Cheers
