I feel u bro the excitement is really on the next level I cut myself like a lot before using traditional style fishing..its the first thing I know into fishing and never use a fishing rods like other did hahahaha
All over the world, fishers use handlines as the can't afford 200-500 $ Fishing rods and reels. Before Plastic bottles they used Tin cans. When a kid my Dad bought me fishing rods(My first was a 3 pice Bamboo cane about 12 Ft), but I also used Tin Can handlines with my village fishing friends. Very nice snapper 👍Today a lot of fishing rods + a couple of heavy handlines(100 Lbs) if you throw a big bait down
Great video, And yes for you none believers, I have gotten excited seeing this done by Land when I use to live in South Florida in the Keys , by the old timers ,they use to catch monsters snappers on hand line , they call them yo yos, ,so congratulations on that big snapper,, next big pompano on hand live 🧵,,just a thought,,,,Stay Safe God Bless 😀,,
Like, embellished the fish? Thanks for the feedback. Here’s some perspective on my excitement. Red snapper are usually caught miles off shore, very rare to catch one from land. So my excitement is due to the fact of this being an unusual way to catch a red snapper. Now add that it was on a bottle, makes it more unusual.
You don't have to talk the entire video you talkin throughout the whole we want to see the fish just like you but you ain't got to keep talkin starting to sound ridiculous you're grown man fishing act like one
Good comment, thank you for your honesty. It’s really hard to tame excitement when I am in the middle off such and amazing catch like this one. I don’t know how to not be excited and catch fish at the same time.
Great great job love your determination my bro one love always from sweet Jamaica 🇯🇲

Thanks William, it’s amazing what you really need to catch fish. I enjoyed using a hand line for this red snapper.

we fish the same in Mauritius
Good day, I am a beginner, what kind of fishing line and how many numbers would be ideal for distance shooting on the machine. Greetings from Turkey.
I used 300 yard of 60 pound braid, then I connected 20 yards of 40 pound mono
What line were u using? Nice fish.
60 pound braid
You did well with no cuts on your fingertips. ✨️😰
lol,, "and i am not doing this again"
Yeah, it was brutal
That's things we do in the caribbean islands
Much respect for this style of fishing!
That's great bro :) new subscriber here :) fish on :)
Thank you!
RED SNAPPER???
Yes sir!!!!
I'm not a hater I'm happy you got your fish but you really over talk your catch when you are reeling it in.
