At the same time also makes u wanna sell your bass 😅, but i fully agree, Dominique's playing is just godlike, could never get tired of him, in most cases i prefer his playthroughs more then the songs even.

I love actually hearing the bass in metal. Back when I was playing in death metal bands bass was where we the dude who couldn't quite hack it on guitar. The bassist should have their own voice in the band. Awesome, and fretless too!
I'm sure when i say Forest is the musician i respect and love the most. I listen to music like rock, prog, blues, metal since i was 14yo, however the way he's revoluted a genre it's outstanding. Tech death metal is actually tough to listen in the long period, but his bass lines are soft, delicate, you think all the music has been composed to highlight the bass section. Nonetheless the genre is chaotic, you can feel relaxed when listening to him playing
