Pop Spring 2016, a live concert performance with three originals (Cracked, Can't Sleep Love, and Water and this Evolution of Michael Jackson arrangement. It is an MTV production of a set they performed at a Japanese Music festival. The quality is excellent and it runs a little under 15 minutes. You can break up into parts, but you won't want to. Their covers and 'evolution' arrangements are so good, but their original music is even better and often under appreciated by reactors! I can't speak for the other pentaholics, but personally, I live out when a reactor feels the need to go back and rewatched part of their song. I've heard each and every one hundreds, if not thousands of times (I've been following them since the beginning) and it's the joy of watching someone new fall in love with them that draws me to reactors. ❤❤

Like the doctor used to tell you, "Stick out your tongue and say Ahhh-vee." Short for Avriel. There are low bases that can go lower, but not with Avi's smooth, warm chocolate tone. These guys are champs at figuring out how to fit songs together in these mashups, and then they sing it straight through in one take and nobody looses their place. They're geniuses. We're glad to find one more pentaholic. Always room for more.

Funny story -- This and Penatonix's other "evolutions" and medleys don't usually get blocked, so putting the logo on top may work, but you won't know for sure until next time. If the logo alone doesn't work you can try increasing the transparency and / or reducing the size. Basically, you have to make it so we viewers can barely see what's going on. But the fans are used to it; we have seen these videos lots of times and are clicking to see and hear your reaction.
Can't sleep love, the Popspring 2016 video is definitively my favourite performance. When you have reacted to a few more than you might be ready for Aha Singapore the Star Vista, that is a Mitch slap worth waiting for (you won't see Kevin in that video because he was putting aways his cello but you can hear him very clearly!). You get "THREE ORIGINALS" at a LIVE concert, [plus you get to scratch that itch with a repeat of Michael Jackson Medley] Then you can see that they pride themselves on sounding the same live as the studio versions. "Sing", is an original and FIRE! So much energy and it has celebrity guests along with fans participating in the video. Then there is PTX doing their RAP thing in "Can't Hold Us", Macklemore cover. I'm a fan of MJ, too, but my dude has always been Prince since my college days. What broke my heart is PTX did this amazing evolution of MJ but they did nothing (as far as I'm aware) after Prince died. He was one of the biggest American pop stars of the last 50 yrs. He was extremely multi-talented, playing many instruments, and helped the music industry by discovering some of the hottest talent out there. He also loaned some of his songs to new promising artists to help them get started. Sinead O'Connor's "Nothing Compares To You", Shaka Khan's "I Feel For You", and The Bangles "Manic Monday" were Prince originals. He also worked with Stevie Nicks on "Stand Back" and with Madonna on "Love Song" along with many others. I still don't understand why they didn't do a tribute. Between that and Avi leaving and the group becoming really Hollywood in the past few years has all taken a lot of shine off for me personally. It has nothing to do with the fact that they're an incredible group of seasoned singers whose songs I don't think I'll ever get tired of.
A fun way to enjoy any of their medleys is to focus on only one member throughout the whole video, then watch it again until you have seen it AT LEAST 5 times!!!!
I'm surprised no one is telling you to do their cover of Hallelujah, which is their most viewed video ever (unless you have done it and it was blocked, so I can't see it in your list anymore). So I recommend that one. In terms of their amazing and awesome originals, I'd love to see you watch Love Again, Happy Now, Sing, and Coffee in Bed, as well as add my vote to so many folk's recommendation of their Pop Spring 2016 concert!
Avi is often accused of beatboxing when he very rarely does any such thing. He sang bass right in time with Kevin's beatboxing, just like a bass player and drummer hitting that beat at the exact same time so it sounds like one big instrument.

It's Kirstin or Kirstie (rhymes with 'thirsty') rather than 'Kristen' and Avi pronounced 'Aahvi' and yes Mitch (dark haired counter tenor on the back left for this one) and Scott (tall, blonde, baritone). The best PTX original songs in my opinion are 'Love again' (an EDM song that has an alien/Steampunk vibe!) and 'Sing' (it's a real bop - don't be fooled by the beginning! Lots of their fans famous actor and TH-camr friends in the video) but also 'Run to you,' 'Cracked', 'Can't sleep love', 'Water', 'Coffee in Bed' are all phenomenal. Their originals are criminally under-rated because they are so known for their covers and Christmas songs.

Shawn stockman was a judge on that season of the sing off (the season after pentatonix won). They got his seal.of approval for their cover. And "smooth criminal" by alien ant farm. Home fries (home free fans) will let you know when you're ready. Lol. You need to understand the guys and what "role" their voices play in the group first. In "end of the road" you get to see gospel rob at work, "when a man loves a woman" highlights Austin. "Brothers in arms" shows off tim and chance. Do does "folsom prison blues". You also have to do "adam Rupp drum solo". Adam is crazy with the noises he can make. I saw a comment saying he was a beat boxing champion somewhere. In the solo, you can see he actually plays drums because he's "playing" the drums while performing.
That's horrible about your voice. I'm so sorry. It's crushing to lose your voice when you were a singer and adore music. I have MS and the nerve damage from that took my voice from me. I was involved in choir all my HS career, traveled to Austria to sing concerts there, made 2 albums in school and won first in All State competition. I feel your pain. LOVING your reaction to this. I'm a fan of MJ, too, but my dude has always been Prince since my college days. What broke my heart is PTX did this amazing evolution of MJ but they did nothing (as far as I'm aware) after Prince died. He was one of the biggest American pop stars of the last 50 yrs. He was extremely multi-talented, playing many instruments, and helped the music industry by discovering some of the hottest talent out there. He also loaned some of his songs to new promising artists to help them get started. Sinead O'Connor's "Nothing Compares To You", Shaka Khan's "I Feel For You", and The Bangles "Manic Monday" were Prince originals. He also worked with Stevie Nicks on "Stand Back" and with Madonna on "Love Song" along with many others. I still don't understand why they didn't do a tribute. Between that and Avi leaving and the group becoming really Hollywood in the past few years has all taken a lot of shine off for me personally. It has nothing to do with the fact that they're an incredible group of seasoned singers whose songs I don't think I'll ever get tired of.

A fun way to enjoy any of their medleys is to focus on only one member throughout the whole video, then watch it again until you have seen it AT LEAST 5 times!!!!

I'm surprised no one is telling you to do their cover of Hallelujah, which is their most viewed video ever (unless you have done it and it was blocked, so I can't see it in your list anymore). So I recommend that one. In terms of their amazing and awesome originals, I'd love to see you watch Love Again, Happy Now, Sing, and Coffee in Bed, as well as add my vote to so many folk's recommendation of their Pop Spring 2016 concert!

Avi is often accused of beatboxing when he very rarely does any such thing. He sang bass right in time with Kevin's beatboxing, just like a bass player and drummer hitting that beat at the exact same time so it sounds like one big instrument.
Great reaction! It's Kirstin or Kirstie (rhymes with 'thirsty') rather than 'Kristen' and Avi pronounced 'Aahvi' and yes Mitch (dark haired counter tenor on the back left for this one) and Scott (tall, blonde, baritone). The best PTX original songs in my opinion are 'Love again' (an EDM song that has an alien/Steampunk vibe!) and 'Sing' (it's a real bop - don't be fooled by the beginning! Lots of their fans famous actor and TH-camr friends in the video) but also 'Run to you,' 'Cracked', 'Can't sleep love', 'Water', 'Coffee in Bed' are all phenomenal. Their originals are criminally under-rated because they are so known for their covers and Christmas songs.

@iAM_LoccdWolf nice. That rabbit hole is as deep as upchurch. So many songs and videos. The only ones you need to hold off on for now... Mayday and Tim foust's solo work. Home fries (home free fans) will let you know when you're ready. Lol. You need to understand the guys and what "role" their voices play in the group first. In "end of the road" you get to see gospel rob at work, "when a man loves a woman" highlights Austin. "Brothers in arms" shows off tim and chance. Do does "folsom prison blues". You also have to do "adam Rupp drum solo". Adam is crazy with the noises he can make. I saw a comment saying he was a beat boxing champion somewhere. In the solo, you can see he actually plays drums because he's "playing" the drums while performing.

That's horrible about your voice. I'm so sorry. It's crushing to lose your voice when you were a singer and adore music. I have MS and the nerve damage from that took my voice from me. I was involved in choir all my HS career, traveled to Austria to sing concerts there, made 2 albums in school and won first in All State competition. I feel your pain. LOVING your reaction to this. You don't miss a thing.
