@@gradyk7101 Yes, I know exactly what boat you’re talking about. Great craftsmanship by both boat companies. But...the the added legacy and experience from Viking is over the top in my opinion
I have never seen any videos of the Valhalla on a rough day going through a port with with monster waves. I would like to see this boat in action coming out of Haulover inlet on a rough day.
Great video CCO. I think Viking has put SeaVee & Yellowfin on notice with this level of engineering and craftsmanship. Blown away by what they have done with this model.
I would love to see Valhalla vs freeman coming out of a rough cut. Freeman would be a big challenge to beat. Show us !!!! The SeaVee would be a huge challenge out of a rough cut. Both the Freeman and the SeaVee are awesome killing huge waves in a rough cut I wanna see the proof in the Valhalla. Personally I would love to see the Valhalla beat them both but I have yet to see the Valhalla eat waves in a rough cut. Show us !!!!!
it's just so beautiful. The craftsmanship, hard work, and love that goes into this vessel. It is one of my all-time favorite >40 center consoles. just a beautiful boat. my neighbor has one and I would love to take a ride and see how well it rides. all that Viking mindset in a center console is perfect. love Vikings, and love cc's, the perfect mix of both.
This excellent design really makes it possible to identify the errors and omissions in the 54’ Yellowfin. I feel like that boat needs to be totally redesigned. Those mezzanine seat access are a mess though. Almost impossible to utilize. Put stuff in there you wont access.
Well done video! Excellent videography and editing.... you guys have stepped it up to another level! Best walk-through of a boat I have seen so far. Impressive vessel and top of the line features, impressive cabin and the "mechanical room" is at another level!. Surprised they used the Optimus joystick instead of the Mercury joystick (head scratcher) Well done guys! keep it up
Was thinking the same. Here in Australia east coast 6ft seas with 6ft periods and 15-25knots is pretty normal so spray is a part of life. Also I’d take mine with yammies for the reliability thanks
That is a gorgeous large CC, for a mono-hull anyway LOL Only minor gripe I'd have is that the dive ladder is stowed so far away from the dive doors. Now with a nice (folding) second station like the Scout LXF line has, that would be about the perfect deep water fisher or island cruiser. Something else I noticed, even with the hatches closed there was a _VERY_ noticeable whine from the SeaKeeper.
Very good video of a Lot of boat. Like to see video of the CC’s in 4-6’ head seas. Former Viking owner, anyone can run flat out in two foot chop. A boat is a (big) investment. If anything more power will beat up everyone aboard, not raise a single fish.
Very nice fishing machine! Truth is that there are so many quality boats on the market now that is has everyone on their toes. You have to look at every aspect from front to back. It may drive up the cost but think most people will pay for quality!
In a 46ft boat, I would prioritize range over speed. But this is a obviously intended as second boat for someone who already has a crewed up sport fish yacht.
@@nickscott478 You will still end up with a higher top speed with the new 600’s. On the vessels we sea trialed we saw gains of 3-5 mph and in most cases improved fuel burn as well. The major improvements, aside from incredible handling with the new steerable gear case, was the addition of the new transmission coupled with the extra power that made these 20k-50k pound vessels extremely quick. Time to plane on the 50k lb Formula 500SCC with quad 600s was ~7 seconds with a top speed of 66mph. That was an incredible display of just how amazing these engines really are.
$1.5mil is absolutely nuts for a center console. Im sure this is an excellent boat but Christ... at that point just get a couple year old sport fishing yacht.
Who affords this shit..... seems like every manufacturer make expensive CCs these days hovering around an average price of 1 million. Is the market that big? I make very good money (I paid 150k+ in fed and state taxes ) and would not feel comfortable purchasing a 500k+++ boat. Am I missing something?
@@dizneym1 these are for people who make multiple millions per year, or have net worths over $15 million I’d guess. There’s a market for them, but a veryyyy small niche market. But you know, I guess they wouldnt be making them if there wasnt the demand. Most boat buyers dont spend more than a third of their yearly income on the price of a boat. So the people buying these are paying millions per year in income taxes hahah
@@dizneym1 We shouldn't be paying ANY taxes on income. Strictly a central bank (controllers of the world) BS tax. They print it for free and lend it to us at interest. What a fkkin racket!

Would trip or quad 600’s be more efficient, I’ve heard you may lose some top speed but get a lot of extra utility in its ability to power what you you would normally need an additional diesel generator, just a young 21 year newer boat enthusiast who wants to learn, I’m studying engineering and minoring in materials science so boats and Planes have always fascinated me, hope all who read this far are doing well happy fourth from the Orlando, or any other world wide holidays, please if you can let me know your experience you’ve seen wether first hand or articles read. nice boat, will like to see her on a rough sea. like everything on the boat but don't like the Ignition keys hanging in the entrance. imaging on a rough day fishing somebody go in the cabin and a wave hit the boat and the person looses his balance a bam... keys broken in the ignition.
That forward seating ruins it for me. I hope I can option that off. Makes it VERY difficult to release Sails in a tournament or walk a fish around the boat while harnessed in.
70 mph with 4x450 racing, against 72mph with 4x600 v12, not bad. Mercury racing 450, 600hp less. That's what I call, doing more with less, not mention fuel economy...
Nice boat, I'm here in Arizona waiting for California to slide into the water so I can have oceanfront property. This will be my first purchase.
I'm not anywhere near California and I'm waiting for California to sink unexpectedly.
Holy smokes. The best of the best. A dream come true for pure fish and performance enthusiasts. Grand slam...Bravo
Couldn't agree more!
@CenterConsolesOnly what's the beam of the boat?
100% watching this 20 times this week. In my opinion best looking CC on the market!
if you like this you should check out the mag bay 33 looks pretty similar in my opinion better

My Dream fishing boat!!!! Thank you for the great review!!!!
Love to take it right over to Sailfish Marina.....Beautiful!
Missed out I have seen one with quad v12 Mercury's 600 hp a piece. Sweet boat.

Hi not just enjoy it you give good and clear information thank Sir from Singapore
What a beast! Absolute dream boat
Everyone needs a boat with a 50mph cruise!
What a great boat. She'll be a beast with the new V-12 600's.
They have them w the 600s already.. the owner needs some bigger balls
The color scheme on this boat is off the hook
Living the dream!
Best review of this boat I’ve seen yet.
Wow this is a perfect setup!

Love. The boat...
Great CC
Has does this compare to the HCB 65 footer
I noticed the Curved wind screen. Is there a windshield wiper? That's a big thing for visibility in crappy seas.

put 4 Seven marine 627s or Merc 600s on that beauty !

That’s a nice boat classy unlike some of the stuff from midnight express
imagine the v-12 's woa !
If you can afford it.....why not? What a boat !
Any trials with the new 600 guys ?
Cruising passed my neighborhood. People were posting on Nextdoor about this boat speeding 🤣
Nice!!
Beautiful Boat ! Did a great job with the walk around. Got a question is there a dealer in Texas. I see you are in Florida.
So is this their challenge to Freeman cat? Thanks
Drop a pair of the 600 V12s on the back, regain some useable transom and it would be perfect!
And loose 600 hp?
Nice boat, it needs the new 600 mercs.
Beautiful boat. Did you catch fuel consumption at 50 and 70mph?
It’s gotta be less than one😅🥴
Crazy boat! What kind of efficiency were you getting at cruise?
I see it , bait tank.
NICE !!!! what is the value of this boat?
Dream boat
Watched this vid for the 2nd time. Wondering if the curved glass causes any visual distortion? It look awesome in 1 piece but???
What range could it possibly have with extra fuel tanks? The maximum.
The captain should try huk gaiter that is designed a lot better than the one he is wearing.
I'll take one if you can fit it with the v12's, 5 please! Lol
Just wait! Video coming soon with quad V-12's!
@@CenterConsolesOnly thank you!!!!
Please correct me if I’m wrong but won’t the 450s still have a better top speed due to the power to weight ratio on the 600s?

What ia discount price- for two boats?
how long until someone takes one of those v12's and puts it in a car?
Beautiful, but I will take the 38 billfish parked behind it. But I am a comfort over speed guy, Denali 1 ton over a Ferrari

1:30 What is the flow of water ( aft port side). Something on board needs cooling water?
Probably the seakeeper
How come you guys never discussed the price???

is this Gronks boat?

It’s not really a dedicated fisher. Mostly a day cruiser you can fish from.
1.5 million thats alot
price please

That the price you tell the wife it cost!
why boat has no seatbelt.
Its price i think i havent heard it
I think he said 1.1 so just over a million
So now 4 engines cost more than the boat they are on
I dont get it???
