OMG I can't believe the quality of 'access' you have Dan. From 65ft Luxury palaces afloat, to rocket ships ! Incredible boat here, and fabulous video, as always ... 🇬🇧 (pommy Phil)
I am very fortunate! I spent 20 years in the industry selling boats before quitting to do this and have also been racing yachts for 25yrs so I already know most of the people i'm testing boats for in Australia. But it's still super awesome that everyone is so generous with their boats and I don't take it for granted.
It’s called a sea chest it keeps the water flowing while running under speed theres a lot of turbulence and air being sucked up so it helps to control that and keep the bait alive. Love your videos 🙏👌👍
Cheers! The Regulator is big volume and big capability. She gave me the impression that she'll handle almost anything. The Valhalla feels more refined around the edges and she's noticibly faster. Check out my test drive video which is online now
The top speed is pretty cool but I feel like it falls short of the amenities that come standard on the Regulator 41. Less fishability, no rear shade, no ladder, no stowable bench seat, no grill/sink etc. The bow is ok but missing a deployable table / casting platform. Below the console, well it really falls short, it's not even close. Maybe there is a large price difference, explaining the differences in boats, not sure about pricing.
I got the vibe that they are just building something that is completely amazing to drive and they were keeping it simple and beautiful in terms of the features and appearance instead of loading the boat up with absolutely everything. Thats the vibe I got anyway
I'm putting two hands up for that test. Yes please. I would really like to visit these guys and understand more about their secret sauce. Definately doing a great job.
@@BoatLife_DansBoatLife would love to see your review of the 55! Believe it or not it’s 10 times better than the one you loved. Hope you get one to review! Wait until you see the cabin on the 55!!

Sea Chest! Thats the name thanks!
Dan "I don't know what a gallon is" Jones 😂
Give me time, i'll figure it out
Great boat on to the test drive now
Love the videos. How would you compare this 41 to the Regulator 41 you reviewed earlier?? Ride, fit, finish, etc???

That’s my dream boat Vikings are by far my favorite
Yeah I can see why.
It's not a Viking. It's a Valhalla. Learn the difference.

I hate center consoles but I love your enthusiasm. Could watch you review a floating toaster, Dan
As long as the toaster isn't plugged in haha

Front "Storage" is actually a live well.
I did not know that - thanks!
Speeds gonna cost ya, but $2million ?, bloody hell.
It isn't $2M. It's $1.2M
Wait until you get your hands on the Valhalla 55 lol blows that one away

You're supposed to lock the door on the side after shutting it. 😂
I know haha... I generally speed through in the actual filming part so you guys don't get bored and then I close everything up after the shoot.
Dan, are you quite keen on this? 🤣
If we are just focused on performance I love it!
I´d never accept boats under 5 outbord engines, in Europe 6 engines is standard ;-)
Stay tuned... more engines coming this summer haha
