That entrance to the cabin is ridiculous. All they have to do is extend that into the top of the cabin. That extended windshield area is a total waste of utility as well. Great prototype, but a long, long way to go to maximize utilization of available space.
The claustrophobia comment is hilarious with NO WINDOWS! Couldn't they have added a couple of portholes for a hint of daylight?? Also, "less maintenance compared to a sportfish" is pretty funny with 4 engines and a generator, when a proper sportfish has only 2 engines and a generator, yet offers proper luxurious interior spaces, 2 or 3 real staterooms, and many of them will still do close to 50 instead of 60. Which one would you want to be on when the weather gets nasty offshore??
Question for @yellowfin... On the big fish box that is in the rear with 2 openings on each end, why wouldn't you have a lid that spans the entire length???? It looks like it would be very hard to get a monster fish to both slide in and also to get out once in.
@@RedHeadedTexican Many reasons. Better fishing boat, smooth ride, more economical, faster, looks better… That HCB is a dog. I think it tops out just over 50
How bout the new Merc 600hp V12? Also the new V10 for your smaller boats. You can put 5 V12s on a 15 foot beam that's 3000hp or one more for 3600hp. 2speed transmission w/duoprop drive for stronger holeshot and the gearcase doesn't move. V12 price is around $75-80k.
Such a great review. Awesome video bro. Does anyone know of a good review video of the Scout 355 LXF? My wife and I are interested in buying one, but good videos on the boat are hard to find honestly.
Sounds like they are part of Volvo Penta now but haven’t seen many boats with them in Alfreds videos guess mercury and yamaha are making a good enough outboard to complete in that market $$$
@@slange455 they've been part of volvo, volvo just announced that they are trying to be emission free by 2050 so they are discontinuing 7 marine. Reason most boats don't have them is that it is a very high end buyer niche market for them at 100k an engine. Also you can go anywhere in the world and find a yamaha certified mechanic, but one thats trained with 7 marine is hard to find anywhere and usually are flown in to do work
If your gonna buy a boat like this, youd be better off getting the Viking Valhalla 55. Its a much better boat than this one is. The cabin on the Valhalla is especially better. Just fyi.
Another great video Alfred! The guy from Yellowfin seemed in a hurry! but you did great getting the info out of him. Boat is a beast... 54" wow...
54'
54" would be remote control sized🤣
@@ahhell1 slight typo! ;-)
Gotta be good when the owner of the company is right there to show the boat.
One of your best boat reviews to date my man. You should start doing more in depth reviews!
Absolutely beautiful boat! I guess I should get into fishing! Good job Alfred. Cheers
Great video as always. Thats one big Yellowfin yacht.

I would have put a folding entry (similar to a sailboat) under the sun roof area to allow people to walk down to the bedroom.
Erik Nuveen
I am 6' 2" 268, There is no way I am getting in there. You right, complete waste
The guy in the video is 6'2". The VP is 6'8", they have no prob getting in there, or standing while in there.
Nice boat, been watching alot of ur boat reviews, you really should put prices on all the boats you review
We have aluminium Yellowfin in Australia but nothing like that. I could live on that but fuel would be a problem. Nice boat.
Now that is awesomeness what a boat👍👍
The best Centre console boat
He didn’t really seem to need the business. He seemed less than enthralled by Alfred
1:22 the guy in the background doin back flips in the air
Crazy how huge that thing is.
Its impressive Tony
Whats up Tony D👍

I Love CC's, But anything over 35ft is a bit much "IMO" a boat over 50ft needs to have a Flybridge and a pair of Diesels :)
Facts
Anything over 35ft need a tower, especially for tuna fishing
Love your videos!!! Keep them coming
What a great looking boat
Very nice looks like good quality built to last.

2.5 million and I have to squeeze into the cabin like that!
Great Vid!
Beautiful seat backs
Incredible!!!!!
Really SICK !!!
He got screwed when they parked him next to the 65 estrela
I'd rather have this than the HCB.
@@steveantson9608 agreed.
@@steveantson9608 why? Just curious

12 people ordered this prototype? “A fool and their money”...
How much dose this boat sale for
Hi what about price?
At what point are they classified as a yacht?
when you don't have to squeeze into the cabin like that.
WOW!! LOVE IT!!!
What was the price?
If you have to ask you can't afford it lol. $2M
pero hermano si es posible en sus videos ponga el precio de los botes por favor
You need to wide-angle (screen) that shot...

next show !
That would be awesome. Thanks a lot.
That's a big boat but it's nice..54 wow
Nice boat. Will be great for some. Not as nice as Scout 530 LXF
There was nobody on that jet ski lol.. but I would want 5 450’s on that bad boy
I'm really not a fan of the light blue on grey upholstery. It really takes away from what is otherwise a nice looking boat.
SOlace is bitch slappin YF....
That boat cost more than my house and I live in florida ..great boat.. to rich for my blood thou
Yep me too
@@bradward9164 The boat show for 1%'ers. I am by no means poor, but can't relate to this channel anymore.
Needs four Merc 600's
At $4 per gallon $3600 to fill up.
Considering that's easily a 3/4 to 1 million dollar boat, I don't think they'll have problems with the fuel bill.
Second video where the sound is jacked up
Yup
@@AlfredMontaner still love the videos. Lots of info
I hear Kenny chesney just bought one . But it ain’t no freeman
Center console beyond 40 ft starts to become a little much.
Alfred always be bothering these guys
Honestly Scott 530 LXF is way better layoutwise.
So much slower though. I'm not a big Scout fan.
Bring back the 23 Deep vee
That guy just said 20 months at the end like if it was nothing.. Sure we will make you your dream boat but don't plan on seeing it for almost 2 years.
That flying guy in the background lol, completely distracting.

Boat pretty much sells itself.
Maybe 5 years ago .. now there’s a handful of monster center consoles...
realy 2.2 mln you can buy a mansion a car and have enough money fore the rest of your life to live comfortabel lol
Um , Aw
Not the best salesman…. Good coaching Alfred
That’s just great for the drug dealers
