So cute, you two. I like that you just stop and knit 🧶 for a wee bit. Knitting goes with you always. 🌷
Oslo looks like a lovely place to visit. It is very Beautiful and looks like so much fun . Thank you for showing us all.
What a delightful little tour of your favorite hidden gems in Oslo. Thank you for sharing !
Thank you for sharing!
Was in Oslo 20 years ago, always fun to see old favorites and new places to visit .
Thank you for this tour of Oslo. ❤
Pure joy!!!
Oslo looks like such a cool place to visit and maybe someday I will get to visit there but for now I enjoy watching your videos and all the great places to see there. Happy Easter!
Ditto !
Kate from Homely House said you were interesting. Thank you for this tour of Oslo. My great grandmother came from there and I’ve always wanted to visit.🇺🇸
You are welcome!
We’ll get yourself there. You’ll love it.
What a beautiful city! I love cities built beside rivers.
We Sauna here in Canada, but I don’t jump in a lake either. I have rolled in the snow once and that was almost heart stopping. I’ll stick to a cool shower now.
🥶
So beautiful 🙏❤️
I could hear the echo. Well done. Thanks. Fun. Especially because you so enjoy it. Makes it contagious.
Been to Oslo many times, but lovely new treats! Will be sure to go to the “echo circle”. Thanks for all you share!
How very beautiful! Thank you both! Love seeing the lovely places in Norway! Also, your mittens are gorgeous Arnie! Luckily I’m wrapped up in 7 blankets and a heating pad, watching how cold you guys looked made me happy I’m here and not there! LOL from US😊
I’m not going to hold my breath waiting, but I’m hoping one day you’ll share a video of Carlos jumping in the fjord and telling us all about it so we don’t have to do it!
😂
It looks like you two had fun. There were truly some neat gems to see while exploring that I have not heard of. Thank you for sharing.
Lovely memories of Oslo. Thank you!
Thank you so much for sharing your favourite parts of Oslo with us. You make me dream !!!
Thanks for rhe tour!
Thank you for sharing more of your charming city with us. Hope you both had a wonderful Easter. And yes, it was fun seeing you sitting and knitting on the street!
Lovely tour 💛💛💛
Mathallen reminds me of Great Market Hall in Budapest-one of my favorite places!
When we were visiting Oslo in December last year, we actually went to floating sauna and even plunged in Oslo fjord. It was late in the evening and every building had some kind of elumination, plus Christmas lights, so it was kinda magical. 🩵
That is amazing!
Ha ha! so cute! Looks like a lovely place to visit! Thanks for the tour!
❤ Thank you for this tour of Oslo - always enjoy the “off the beaten path” tours - so many gems, indeed! ❤ Hope to be there some day.
I love seeing “ local color” - the actual day- to - of , well, the locals !
Beautiful ,very European charm.

Love you guys. ❤Marilyn xxNJ. USA
THANKS for the tour!! Love the fishing area!! Because - I fish ... And if course I KNIT😂🎉
Enjoy!!
Very cool episode. I heard the echo.
Thank you for the echoes 😂 I will visit Oslo someday. Thank you for sharing some secrets! Happy Easter!
Brilliant. I enjoyed that. What a lovely, interesting city. Saunas, eh. Just shows how good the water in the fjord must be. Imagine taking a sauna in London or Manchester and then leaping into the Thames or Manchester Ship Canal...hmm, not so pleasant😏
Enjoyed the visit
Thank you😊
Greetings from Redondo Beach 🇺🇸. Nice work on this video. Beautiful Oslo. Cheers 🥂
Thank you!

Happy Easter! What a fun tour around Oslo. Love you both❤

It was lots of fun. Thank you 😊
Good morning guys. Thanks for sharing. ❤
What did you eat?! When we visited Denmark from Scotland, we discovered Smørrebrød and some good ales. The food hall you went to reminds me of the one we went to in Copenhagen. Love love love.
Thank you guys love this video. I will visit one day love to travel. I am an English Jamaican I might find it too cold for me. I agree with Arne I will not jump in that lake, omg. haha. I think your both great. Keep on knitting. xxx

I have a friend that is going to Oslo. I'm going to recommend she watch this video
We hope she has a nice time!
Beautiful city, it looks so clean and welcoming. I love seeing hidden areas. Enjoy your week, Happy Easter from Canada
We went to Finland at Christmas and we only got to be there for a few hours. I think Finland and Norway need to go on a holiday wish list. Much love from Northern Ireland
thanks for sharing me and my husband enjoyed
have to try to clapping the park
We are glad you enjoyed it!
@@ARNECARLOS actually one of you vlogs help me out i was looking for a place to buy a bunad for next year celebration when me and my husband come to visit
Between this and the recent videos from Oslo by The Tim Traveller, I feel I need to add Oslo to my list of places to visit one day... 😅
As a Czech, I feel the need to add Prague, though bigger, is another capital from which it is fairly easy to reach nature - some of its hidden gems are actually pockets of nature reserves _inside_ the city (though at the outskirts). So... I think that's one of the reasons the capitals to the north of us are more appealing to me than those to the south. The Baltic countries are similarly nice. 🙂
Thank you for the very interesting & beautiful tour of Oslo. These hidden gems were wonderful, though like Arne I wouldn’t ever use the floating sauna!
Was in Oslo in 2008, stayed in a boat B&B across from the opera house. Looks like where the saunas are now.
We hope you enjoyed your trip!
@@ARNECARLOS yes, very much so
Thanks for the tour. And ya..No to the plunge.
How wonderful to see Oslo through your eyes! I visited Oslo on my way to Høvringen, where I was working in a hotel in the summer of 1980. Oh my goodness, that was 44 years ago! 😵
I had spent the previous day in Flåm, travelling there from Bergen by train with an American student I had met on the boat from Newcastle, UK. We caught the late night train from Flåm, arriving in Oslo very early, just as the bakers were opening, so breakfast was warm and wonderful! We wandered round the park with the echo spot (I didn’t know about it though!), then we went to the Viking museum with all the boats. It was fascinating and I loved it! My new friend was taking the night boat to Denmark while I stayed in the youth hostel before travelling by train north to Otta and then catching a bus to Høvringen.
It was a long time ago but I remember so much about my time in Norway, one day I will return there! I’m closer now as I live in Orkney! 😉
I’m an Aussie girl and just loved this video. Such a pretty city and you guys are pretty darn cute! Love you both 🥰
Thank you!
A BIG thumbs up for my 2 favourite guys on YT !
Ive been a fan since Kate mentioned your podcast whilst she was knitting a few years ago now, and Im so glad i popped over to your channel.
I appreciate the fact i can get to see some of your country *doing a virtual walking tour with you guys*.
Have a lovely day ❤
You as well!
Happy Easter
❤❤❤❤❤
Fabulous thank you chaps. The Norwegian tourist board should pay you commission for all the tourism you are generating. So glad to hear that Oslo is walkable. I always feel like I miss the good things if I drive or get the tram or bus. Incidentally, Flåm and Bergen are on my itinerary in July thanks to your recommendation in the members chat.
It is easy to get around by foot.
Nice little hidden gems...I think I am with Arne on "not taking the plunge" lol". God Påske Arne and Carlos! Enjoy the day!
God påske!
I love a sauna! Thank you
I'd like to see more of your travel adventures. Carlos, what date do you predict having your first swim in the lake?
Not sure yet
That river is beautiful and strong water flow. I think we need to bring the sauna concept more into American culture.
Arne, your nose is red... 🙂 you two look so cute in your puffy (down?) jackets.
I love to see adorable men knitting. It’s rare in the U.S.
How is your garden going? How does it grow when it’s really cold?
We have done a few garden tutorials: th-cam.com/play/PLElv_tSbHW3q_kFemYTQ1lpgRmtvnQOY6.html&si=v4SzbnHgoOLnh9_E
Oh wow! That's very close to my school the AkersElva. I would definitely say hi when I see you guys!! 😊 Do you have any event in knitting in Oslo?
Not now
❤❤❤I love this tour I need to come back and go to Oslo too!
What a cool post! It's like having insider guides. So, Arne, why no sauna? Don't like heat, or the shock of jumping into the fjord or just modest? I'll do almost anything once. LOL Thanks for sharing!
I like your sweater Arne. Didyou make it
What did you eat at the food market? How could you decide? Why do people have to take away from the beauty of an area with graffiti? I guess it's all over. I still don't like it. Love seeing you knitting on the go! I always have mine with me too! Arne, I will keep you company while Carlos takes the plunge. We can knit together! I also am surprised it is November. I thought more mid winter.
We had a duck sandwich and pasta.
I love duck, yum! Pasta too! Sounds like you made a great choice! Were you good and skipped dessert? 😆🤣😆
Hallo Oslo kalt und 🇨🇭 Schweiz normalwarmmittel ❤
Any hot springs? I am looking forward to them in Iceland.
Not in Norway.
Arne I love your mittens! Is that a pattern of yours?
These are traditional mittens, not our
Hi guys happy Easter thanks for sharing the hot spots And foods
"Alternate Universe"
Folk i Telthusbakken vil ikke ha masse turister flyende. Heldigvis er det ikke så mange som ser på videoen. Jeg har selv bodd i Akersveien i 30 år tidligere. Resten var fint, mange steder jeg kjenner.
👍🏻
Sorry, but I will never jump in a fjord in Winter. I'm from Canada and we have people who do that here too, but I am not one of them!
Carlos, why did you suddenly change your hat from dark grey to dark red? 😀
Magic
Lots of graffiti on the buildings.
Love see the city.
Looks like a nice place. I was sad to see that graffiti is even in Oslo.
