    I got one and tried it out - it's pretty awesome. I was part of the Indiegogo campaign. I don't have my RV now, so I don't think I'm going to keep it. Maybe list it on FB marketplace or something, but no way this makes sense to the general public.

      I agree. I was hoping it could handle cooking equipment but it’s just not large enough for that. I could see a benefit for those living in a studio who didn’t want to hand wash their dishes or those who want to reclaim gray water without modifying plumbing. It’s definitely earned a place in my bus but I won’t be using it at home. Thanks for the comment.

      @markwatson1497 I'm in Michigan, what would you be looking to get out of it. I don't even know what shipping would cost haha. I was just guessing if I could get one cheaper from somebody who got the promo price it'll be kind of the same differences going for their summer sale with minimal warranty. I was considering getting one for myself too but my mom has compromised mobility and this seems like it would be kind of perfect for her so just as wouldn't build up. She doesn't want a built-in dishwasher since it doesn't work for her. She can't get down into those or pick up more than 5 lb at a time.

    would you test the fruit washing feature for us? I have been meaning to get one, but I am kinda iffy, I want something to was fruit and veg, aswell as a dishwasher?
    does it wash fruit well?

      saw your latest update, thank you! if you ever do a second "capacity test" with the fruit and veggie wash, it would be massively appreciated, but this is excellent! thank you

      Thanks for the question. From what I can tell, you just dump it into the main compartment after you slide the tray back in. If you use one of the contained packets, i'm sure you could set it in the basket with the dishes before closing the door.

      @overthenexthorizon8271 I had been burned by Kickstarter stuff before so I'm not a backer... but I've been following the company for a long time. No worries! I really appreciate the content as I wanted to make sure it was actually a real thing as even their own website shows different interior baskets and stuff throughout so it didn't seem like they really finished everything but I'm glad it's working for you, I think I'm going to risk it and buy one. Very narrow counter space between the cabinet and sink where this could actually sit so I don't have space for other average counter top dishwashers that are less functional cube like boxes. I saw recommendations while shopping the Bob dishwasher out of France where people were using pots and pans that you could remove the handles. There's some high-quality camping gear that Stacks together really well and there's even some higher-end but not terribly expensive residential stuff that have removable handles now. I'm also interested in renovating a utility trailer into a versatile road trip setup so I'm going to start following you now. Have an amazing summer!

      @@NoZenith that all sounds great! I’ve been burnt on Kickstarter in the past too but this one actually seems to do what they claim so far. I absolutely agree about the high quality cookware for camping and nested storage that’s available now. It’s a great time to build or stock a camper. I sure hope you enjoy converting your trailer. I considered using one of those at one point. They make great camping platforms! I hope the videos help or give ideas about what to try or what to avoid. If there’s anything you’d like me to cover, feel free to drop a line. I’ll see what I can do. Thanks so much for the support!

      @overthenexthorizon8271 I'm sure I'll learn something! I've got a VW GTI that has a rather substantial tow capacity everywhere else in the world to North America, and that was a selling point. I didn't want to get a pickup truck or a stand-alone camper because I want to be able to unhook and leave my camp set up while I'm visiting somewhere for a few days. Having a car to drive around would be awesome instead of having to pack up and put everything away every time I wake up 😆. I think if I was completely living out of it having a mobile home like yours, vanlife style, might be simpler. I even considered the extra axles or weight limits on limited-access turnpike's and toll roads so I know I only want a single axle trailer which also helped me commit to the smaller car as that reduced the weight quite a bit. I'm definitely trying to absorb that information on failures to avoid, haha

      Are you happy so far? I'm looking at getting something for my mom. She's got mobility issues and they're getting worse and she wouldn't want a full-size dishwasher so I think this would really help her and actually fit in her kitchen

    Heat = evaporation

    • @overthenexthorizon8271
      @overthenexthorizon8271  ปีที่แล้ว

      It sure does. After watching the production videos, I got the idea the seals were pretty complete. I expected some loss to evaporation but figured most of the losses would end up as condensation on the walls.
