It's a fantastic bike. Riding it for over an year. Yes rear shock is hard but you get used to it. It handles very good in city and stable at highway. Engine is very refined compared to classic

Of course shumi wouldn't... most of us who are gonna buy a hunter are first time buyers and dont ride 1000cc bikes on a monthly basis .... I got this bike in Red... it's really very responsive nd comfortable.. drove it 5 hrs straight Palampur to Jalandhar. Very smooth nd comfy drive.. 4 hrs on mountains nd 1 hr straight road... The sound of Hunter is just amazing.

I'm a noob rider. Hunter is the first bike and I love it. It took a year or so to save money but it was worth it. I have visited several places nearby alone(kudremukh and agumbe where the best) and I have realised why bike stands for freedom. I don't think it's a copy. Interceptor is a very very old bike of RE Google it. Same goes for continental GT which is not a copy of the thruxton. RE does not copy.@@user-qq5kv2oq6x
I always expected to not want an Enfield. And always want a fast motorcycle. I got to ride my friends Hunter and Interceptor extensively today(10km each). I forgot about "Let's go fast. Let's feel the thrill. Let's push the bike faster than traffic speed" unconsciously. It wasn't even intentional. I automatically sat up. Relaxed a bit. Started riding smooth and calm and filtered through traffic calmly. And enjoyed the view instead. None of this was lack of performance but a subconscious feeling. I might be in love with the feelings. The stiffer springs didn't feel bad. Maybe it's cause I am 80kgs. But, I basically didn't even notice them being stiff or soft. It just felt easy going and amazing.
I am riding hunter for a month now and its amazing and comfortable..the exhaust sounds really good and thumpy...i love to cruise around 80-90 for hours and hours...yes the rear suspension is on a stiffer side but i am habituated to it so its not kinda my issue any more...but the hunter is a solid 9/10 for me.

So bow after nearly 2 yrs i installed a db killer sort of metal cap and it removed the bass and also increased the low end performance even more with more smooth sound like a cb300r, something to do with back pressure with restricted flow it seems❤

Fellow owners tell us that the Classic 350's is a good fit @sushantsureshpandit1069, both UCE and J-series versions work, the former's cheaper to get, of course.
Suspensions are worst... Both front and back... I own a hunter... Other than that everything is good... I would suggest explore other options... Ronin is good but I like the mid variants but they don't have dual channel.. also checkout V Strom 250
IF you are a Royal Enfield Fan go for hunter. If you want a good reliable and Refined machine that you for a long..really long ride, go for Honda H'ness.

Its a direct competition to cb350rs which has a more refined engine but lacks the thumping mid range torque that hunter offers. I’ve seen several videos where people have taken their hunters for a long trip and rarely seem to complain about it. Having said that, in terms of performance it falls a bit short to the Honda. But its hard to ignore the price tag, and that stylish look that it offers. Ughhh! I’m torn!!!

I want to buy a hunter. But i have a a few broken ribs form my past accident. Is the self start reliable? I mean if i keep the bike idle for a month and the self wouldn't work then my broken ribs won't allow me to push-run start the bike. Should i buy it?
Hey @ritupanhazarika8847! Yes it should work out. Do remember that the rear suspension is pretty stiff and you will get bounced about a bit on the Hunter.

Get classic 350 as you'll suffer from lower back pain easily with the hunter's non existent rear suspension or you can switch them with classic reborn nitrox shockers or from apache or pulsars and just be sure to check the ground clearance after the fitment.
Or just get a duke250 instead 🤷🏻♂️ all in one best suspension best ride quality ,handling, electronics features best for touring and also city commutes !

Lower model does not have dual channel abs. I think now it should be standard for all bike
Dual channel ABS is always welcome and we hope the mandates change to them being made compulsory.

With little more power just 23-25 BHP, this bike would have become a killer but anyway good in the city.
