The Kevin Richardson Wildlife Sanctuary's mission is to provide a self-sustaining African carnivore sanctuary for the purposes of wild species preservation through education, awareness and funding, especially pertaining to the rapid decline of large carnivores in Africa due to habitat loss, human-predator conflict, unscrupulous hunting, disease and their illegal trade.
To raise awareness, Kevin has now set up his TH-cam Channel 'LionWhispererTV'. The channel is all about raising awareness about not only the declining numbers of lions, but also how this rapid decrease is happening. By watching these videos, you are directly contributing to our scheme of land acquisition.
Kevin captures the majority of his footage on GoPro cameras, allowing the viewer to get as close as possible to the lions.
By doing this, Kevin hopes to give people an insight into the lives of these beautiful creatures and to let them see just what they can do to help. You can nearly touch them.

Plus; when they cover up their poo/pee under sand/kitty litter, small bits get caught under their claws 🤢😝 there is a reason why pregnant ladies should NEVER handle cat shit/litter trays...toxic diseases! Blech! Also there is a reason why cat scratches give you a fever...ie. cat scratch fever....it's the bacteria under their claws and on their sharp teeth...

Yes! Kevin's heart is wonderful and full of love for his animals. One would have to be blind not to see it! I love this man and everything he's doing to preserve these majestic,wonderful cats. I give him all the credit in the world! I wish he could start a conservation program or school where people will pay to learn from him how to preserve all wildlife,and the monies paid to Kevin,to learn from him,would be poured back into his preserve. I'm surprised he did that. I've watched alot of is videos and he is usually very gentle with them. I can't see him ever wanting to startle a lion no matter how tame it is.

A treated my cat's wound with peroxide and ointment. Seems this wound profile is common with felines.....my cat wouldn't act roughly with me🤔. I see many of you talking about house cats like they are so violent 🤷♂️.

Healthy animals heal much quicker than people and need much less treatment for a similar wound. I work with horses and they are so resilient compared to humans.
I remember the day i clean an infected wound of my Rottweiler. He was pretty aggressive while i spray medicine. Even though my knees where shivering, i did it because we love our dog. Then i saw this. Bro mine was nothing. You are cool kevin.
My dog can be aggressive, unpredictable and moody and at time I feel I am safer with a wild animal as a pet. She is 20 pound but she is a boss..lol
ITS AMAZING HOW SHE KNOWS THE AID IS GOOD 4 HER. THE MEDICINE IS GREAT BUT THE LOVE AND CARE IS GREATER. THESE LIONS KNOW HIM WELL. THEY HAVE HIM TRAINED

It's amazing how much they can look like housecats at times. And then, in an instant, they transform into huge monsters in my eyes. They are magnificent creatures. Beautiful, majestic, awesome (in the truest sense of the word). Frightening.

Agreed! I've had cats for over 50 years . They were all different personalities (loving, naughty, trying, difficult) and had teeth and claws that could be used liberally when needed! Similar to the big cousin!

Livvy caused the wound on Ginny (a lioness disagreement). Not sure if she was being protective or jealousy for more attention! Listening to Kevin chastise Livvy leads one to believe the latter, not the former!

That poor baby. That wound looked pretty deep, and clearly was hurting her. Great job staying on top of it, and treating it every day. As an American, I'd never get to see lions like this, otherwise. They are truly beautiful animals, and it's wonderful to see you fighting to protect them. Thank you for what you do, Kevin.

Its probably more hygienic to stray it on plus the texture of the spray might cause it stick (harden) better than an ointment.

We use the purple spray on the horses. Same reaction, I think the aerosol is cold. Stuff works great on everything.
