The Reunion of Nayla „The Queen“ with her Pride🐾 was unbelievable! I‘ve never learned more about the behavior of Lions🦁 than in this particular event!
It also gave Me a better insight into their mind and revealed their way of thinking when it comes to family-structure, acceptance, changes and love! I am also incredibly excited to be able to share all these experiences first hand with all of You guys!🙏🏼❤️ I hope you could also learn a bit more about their fascinating behavior and take this experiences further into the world.

About Dean Schneider:
I am a 27-year old Swiss guy, who dedicated his entire life to the animal world! Nowadays, I live in Africa, I am a member of a lion pride, my wife is a hyena and I’m a daddy of two monkeys. Besides that, I have built a global voice for our planet’s wildlife over the past two years!
Born in Switzerland (Zurich) on October 3, 1992, I was blessed to grow up in a loving family with my sister (one year older) and my parents, who were always very supportive and loving. My mother is originally from the Balkan region (Southeastern Europe), while my dad is a Swiss citizen. I discovered my deep passion for wildlife at the age of six or seven, through the legendary Steve Irwin! He was the one who brought wildlife into my living room in Zurich and inspired and educated me about all kinds of different animal species.
Even though I was so passionate about animals, I originally followed a very ordinary path to adulthood, eventually ending up in the finance industry as a financial advisor. After a very successful year, I decided to found my own company, which then, over the next three years, allowed me to generate the financial foundation to launch the Hakuna Mipaka project at the age of 23-24.
After starting my life in South Africa additional financial support form my Family allowed me to evolve and develop the Hakuna Mipaka Oasis for 2 Years without having to depend on any income sources such as offering touristic visits / programs, breeding or trading of animals, donations or any other monetary businesses!
About Hakuna Mipaka:
The Hakuna Mipaka Oasis is located on around 400 hectares (four million square meters) in the wilderness of South Africa! It is home to thousands of different wild animal species! Besides that, the oasis also serves as a life-long home to a few rescued wild animals, which were born in captivity! We also do rehabilitation programs with different animals, which are then being released back into the wild.
The Hakuna Mipaka Oasis is my personal home and a private sanctuary that is NOT open to the public. We don’t cater to tourists and don’t allow any day visits or animal activities! We don’t breed animals and we are also not trading animals. I built this place for animals and not for humans. The Hakuna Mipaka oasis is a secure, wild & lifelong home to the animals that live here.

They are very smart. They know you are a human. They know they can't fight you the way they fight eachother and that you saved their lives. I've always noticed the gratitude rescued animals show me, they absolutely know what I've done for them to survive deadly conditions or situations, sacrificing myself. No human ever showed me that kind of love, loyalty, respect, trust and appreciation. I truly beleive animals are better than humans.
They R closer 2 the Spirit of the CREATOR than humans. They did not sin/rebel against HIM. They were sinned against.
animals know how to live in harmony and what their place is in the kingdom. They are either predator or prey. Humans don't know how to live in harmony, they are always trying to one up the next human and can't find happiness in the beauty of simplicity. We may have one of the smartest brains but for what if humans can't figure out how to globally survive and be loyal or live in harmony with everything else in the kingdom of the planet. Humans need to dominate and control, maybe letting go of some control will help people realize WHAT is REALLY important. Because I can tell you what, it's not money and having a sexy body... that's all disposable! Loyalty and family aka your pride is what should hold value. How you contribute to your community should hold value. Knowing you're not better then the next person, we are all born the same but not given the same chances in life determined by what country you're born into, Nobody wishes to be born in a war torn country, and those born in say the USA they have their freedom and yet they throw it away because they feel like they don't need to work as hard but get paid more. When people work sun up to sun down and still can't feed their families. Animals they look out for eachother there's a universal code among all breeds and types of animal they all work together, they don't kick one out because it's not the same color or size. They have a goal of procreating, and survival.... and humans our goals are what.... to continue to destroy each other, deplete our resources, throw away everything and keep making this planet crap. Humans don't deserve the brain power like we have, just look at what we've done with it so far....! ✌💜🙃🙏

Well Chris, you aren’t wrong. But there’s a sicko Creator (that made physical reality and sin, so you are deadly right about him) but there’s a more powerful Father in the background who is a lot more like the lions just full of love. They show it off beautifully. It’s easy to get confused I completely understand.
I agree; except for that last part; animals being better. But, I know what you are trying to say and the sentiment behind it.
The lions doing the group howl was simply amazing, but with Dean being including in the howling it was almost unbelievable. It was completely new to me and, honestly, was one of the greatest things I have ever seen animals do.

It's amazing yet terrifying to know that they are accepting of certain humans but can flip on you in a heartbeat like they do eachother.

It’s actually crazy HOW loud those roars are in person. Camera can never do justice. It literally vibrates the grounds, every cell in the atmosphere and yourself. Its WILD and just so beautiful

The combination of that this guy has to feel of adrenaline (because with wild animals you never can know completely for sure) and then the dopamine/serotonin of everything always working out (so far-and hopefully always) and the love he feels with giant kitties (and his puppies, both dogs dogs and hyenas) must be one of the most awesome and unique experiences ever

Its possible there were people like him in the past. Think about it. Most humans were tribals back then and didn't have anything much to do except observe nature. Their survival depended on nature. It's logical there would have been many men and women that did bond with apex predators the way this man does.
