@@lowdl i failed to mention this was in my 20's many moons ago ha ha ha ha i am definitely not brave enough todo that today ha ha ha also it was not 110 but felt like it . Was around 85 and pushing 90 could feel traction loosing grip lol

@@lowdl keep the 4into 2into 1 they are more drivable and your back pulsing is way better than a 4into 1. Used a stainless snorcall connector not a knuckle for the torque flex of the motor. Your front body mounting will break after about every 40000 km. Be mindful of that.
Also don't match port your branch with your head you shall loose power. The top offset is by design and must stay that way for your back pulsing of exhaust gases. But do polish your outlet ports to reduse carbone buildup and enhance flow. Don't polish your inlet port because your injectors is to far from your valves and use fine ionising injectors to better your air fuel mixture. Don't change your valve angles they are the best standard. And that is how I made 137kw on flywheel. And don't use a lightened flywheel. You will loose a ton of torque from 3rd gear up.
@@lowdl perfect match for 2l 16v. Then you need 225 - 250cc fine ionising injectors. And don't polish intake ports. But do polish outlet ports. Don't use a skimmed flywheel but a standard flywheel for beter torque in higher gears. Also only use a VW original flywheel, the others disintegrates, eventually. Trust me. The alternator must be ether a 45 amp or 55amp alternator , Bosch. The others can't handle the rpm. Only short blocks can rev past 6600 rpm. I didn't like throttle bodies as they struggle at low rpm to get wind speed correct. So I put my old intakes back, I blancked of the common rail enrichment bar on the intakes with cable joint resin and removed the common rail bulges on the inside to equalise the volume. Don't polish it just remove the bulges of the common rail. Then u have a true plemiam that sorts your back pulsing out perfectly. My throttle was 2 butterfly tipe standard. I made 137 KW on flywheel on a load Dina. I reved to 7400rpm (valve bounce) Your motor sounds very good. My compression was 1140 -1100. Motor was completely standard. An import from Germany. They come standard with long duration highlight cams. I had a 4into 2 into 1 branch on with 76mm stainless 2 box exhaust.freeflow. I used real superboss injectors. Partial sequential (1&4;2&3cylinders) used a gotech management. Used the original high pressure fuel pump with pressure set at 4 bar with vacuum control. Used the standard 16v coil as it is already high voltage. I used the golfwagen modular as they don't have a govener. Don't use the square high voltage coils when you loose a spark plug the coil blows. Don't use the rotor with the resistor in it. Only use original plug cables. I used a cone filter washable. Don't forget to oil it. My lead inlet pipe was exactly 2liter. Bought at Midas and cut to length. With breather on. Very important. Used the standard mechanical injection rubber to connect to throttle body. Don't use map only but add a lambda sponsor also. If you don't u will over fuel and hydralicate the motor should your vacume pipe block or get off. Also use golf 3 throttle body as they come standard with a tps. I had a 9a 16valve motor.
@@phillipshepherd1465 tall blocks are better for high rpm. I had a 9a with 288 cams 11.5-1 compression 8000 rpm switched to a ABA tall block and it was better. It also had less wear on the piston skirts due to improved rod angle.
